Politics › Re: See Obasanjo Speech At Fayose's Birthday Celebration That Provoke Ayo Fayose To by LibertyRep: 9:07am On Nov 18, 2025 |
Trust me, I was angry on Fayose's behalf too. I was listening and I was wondering why Baba would use that day, that podium to say such things about the celebrant and his wife. I know it's hard to swallow but I still believe Ayo should have handled it with more decorum. Britishpea: There is nothing reckless about Fayoses reply. If you are reckless enough to spoil people’s happy moments be ready to eat the remnants of the dust.
There are so many people that Obj offended when he was a the president even till now he’s still offending people!!! If those people came to his own birthday to say what he said to Fayose, Obj that I know will not let them leave before he serves them a worse reply.
I listened to the speech and I said this was so bad. Not knowing that it will attract a solid jab from fayose.
Obj said a lo that are not supposed to be said by an elder in a forum like that. Why? Because he thinks no one can do anything to him.
Fayose was reckless when he was a governor so also obj was more reckless while he was the president.
To people who think Fayose was rude with his reply, you get should take time to watch the speech and come back to tell us if they can swallow it.
Obj was attacking someone for political fallouts of over 18 years ago. Does he, Obj think he didn’t offend a lot of people.
Obj went to Audu Ogbe when Audu was a chairman of the PDP. He ate with him and they discussed the party issues for moments and had some jokes . Obj bade him farewell afterwards and left only for him to return within mins and handed over Audu Ogbe a resignation letter to sign.
Obj went ahead to publicize the resignation himself and late Audu could not even defend himself.
To one person that says a bad thing about a fayose, there are 20s that will say worse about OBJ.
Too bad that people have short memories.
People only respect OBJ BECAUSE he was a former president and his age not for any other thing. Two of his sons alleged that he slept with their wives. |
Politics › Re: See Obasanjo Speech At Fayose's Birthday Celebration That Provoke Ayo Fayose To by LibertyRep: 7:13am On Nov 18, 2025 |
If not for the pursuit of genuine reconciliation, Fayose wouldn't have sent emissaries to invite OBJ to his birthday.
There's always other opportunities to pass such message across to Ayo and his wife, not definitely this day.
Tell me you won't be angry if you were in Ayo's shoe and I'll show you an hypocrite.
This isn't to support Fayose's reckless response though. |
