Greetings to all the mamas on d house. Pls I have one question o. I have tried to read previous pages to see if there was a similar case. My almost 4 month old is having massive hair loss. The scalp is getting emptier and shinier by the day. I only use sebamed shampoo for his hair and coconut oil. Grandma said it is signs of "Eela" and he will need to bath and drink herbs. Should I let him drink the herb or is there something I can rub on it to make the hair stop vanishing and grow back? Many Thanks.

Bs! BS!! BS!!!
First of all,apologies for posting my BS late,been feeling guilty for owing it.....
On the 23rd of May,I woke up and noticed I had blood stains. I read up and saw it's normal and according to antenatal,it's my bloody show. It continued for days and it gradually turned to worry. I went to the hospital and was told I was still at 2cm which I had been for a while. I was admitted to be monitored but since I didn't dilate pass 2cm,I was discharged. The contractions continued and hence bloody show continued. I went for my antenatal visit on the 30th and doctor insisted that I should be induced as I had passed my EDD. I agreed immediately and asked for an epidural to be on standby since I've heard lots of stories on how painful induction is. Lol
Fast forward to 12am,2 tabs of Cytotec were placed under my tongue n gbam contraction started getting intensified! The backache was indescribable. SO massaged tire and at some point the massage started feeling like needles. The doctor came to check by 3am and I was just at 3cm so he couldn't administer the epidural. He said he'll come back by 7am to check. By 5:30am thereabout I started screaming my lungs out that I want to poo!! The midwives hesitated n told me not to attempt it. I couldn't hold it back n kept screaming. She checked me and said I am fully dilated. I had passed the window for the epidural to be administered. They called the doctor and he came hurriedly. After 3 pushes my Prince Charming came out screaming on the 31st of May at 6:07am with a tear weighing 3.6kg. He was diagnosed with jaundice and spent a few days in the hospital but we are home now and doing very fine. His name is Jordan. Apologies once more for the delayed bs.

Thanks to all d mamas that responded to my last post. I'm grateful!
I eventually went to d hospital and d bleeding continued mildly. Was told it's normal and it's my bloody show. I was having very painful but not frequent contraction and didn't dilate pass 2cm after 15hrs so I had to be discharged. I'm still in so much pain but I am doing fine.
Congrats to all d Mamas that have dropped their little angels. I still have 2 days to d end of May#fingerscrossed#teammayforsupernaturaldelivery.

Good morning sabi mamas pls help me torchlight this matter. I woke up yesterday at midnyt to water trickling down my legs,which I was a 100% sure wasn't urine. Went to d hospital later in d day,was checked and told it was liquid cervical discharge that baby has enough water around him. This morning I woke up to bleeding and mild cramps. I can't see any mucus in it. Should I go back to d hospital or just relax cos I don't want to be turned back again ooo. I'm 39weeks5days.

Hi mamas, I went for a scan yesterday and d doctor couldn't find any baby in the sac at 9 week. Pls is this normal.

Pls do a transvaginal scan. I was told @ 7weeks that they couldn't find a fetal pole or yolk,only a sac and was told to come back in 2 weeks and today I'm almost 39 weeks preggy. Do not let your heart be troubled. Just go to another center and do a transvaginal scan pls. It's well with u!

Someone just gave us a carton of frozen chicken, not sure how to preserve it. We don't have nepa light and only use the gen from 7pm-12midnight daily. What's the best way to store it biko, it's still a bit frozen. Should I keep it in the freezer in the carton just the way it came or do I wash and store in ziplock bags. Who else has experience with plenty meat and no light.

Please boil and fry the whole chicken or else,it'll get spoilt. You can keep it in d freezer afterwards. The 7pm-12am light should be enough to keep it fresh. Now I feel like eating fried peppered chicken grin

Yes it was the temperature. Like it was sed earlier,d water should be warm and not hot. It was in those days that mothers use very hot water cos of the kind of stitch they get,but these days the stitches don't have to be loosened and all. So pls let's not forget that it's warm water oooo cos going back to be restitched can't be funny rara.

So yesterday was my Ante-natal Appointment, immediately i was called to see the doctor, without me saying anything, he said ''go and get a gloves' Thank goodness i thought about it the night before that the doctor might want to examine me, so I took a pair from the hospital bag packed since i wasn't ready to buy any yet.

I gave him the gloves, and he told to pull down my cloth for examination...chai that's how he put his hand inside my vagina and forced it inside, moving it up and down...come and see me shouting, it wasn't painful like that oo i was just uncomfortable with it....(I think what he did is Membrane sweep)

Note that according to LMP, I'm just 39weeks 3days.

Immediately, he removed his hand i was so relieved, he didnt even bother measuring anything..only listened to the baby's heartbeat and send me away to come back on monday...he was now asking if i have had children before, i told him No..just wondering why he asked

To announce the royal arrival of Giddybaby thru VD at 1:15pm today after 7 hours of manual labour, dunno what she weighs yet but all the nurses have been screaming at how big she is. The midwives cut my honeypot. Daddy and baby alive, healthy and happy. Mother extremely tired.
