AmericanSons: don't let a girl fool you bros or play with your emotions.
I have one now with light more greener than green but she would still say she can't date me.
This one dey even ask me whether I dey with any girl. I told her I went to the cinema one time and she was trying to know if I went with a girl.
She asked this kind of question more than 5 times at different intervals.
All the signs are there but I have decided to keep my distance. I don't do just friends with someone I want something real with! that's what this one does. When I tell her I'm going out, she wants to know if I'm going to see a girl. I tire for girls o |

I asked this girl out sometime and she told me she has a boyfriend and that the boyfriend doesn't stay in town. I honorably withdrew my advances and she got annoyed because I stopped calling her. The few times I tried she refused picking out of anger.
She would call me with a different number just to hear my voice and then hang up upon me saying "hello".
To cut the long story short, we agreed to meet which we did and I noticed she's still playing hard to get. I don't know what to do at this point honestly.
Should I withdraw outrightly or should I still talk about us starting a relationship especially considering that I didn't bring up the ish in our recent meeting.
Help guys!

realpoacher: That statement I bolded is inconsequential in football... Football is all about winning matches and winning trophies.
In 5 years to come, nobody remembers who " played like champions and lost" ... People and history only remember those who won.
I see that you are only concerned about good football forgetting that those with end products are the only ones celebrated when it matters most.
Also you should know that it is extremely difficult to play good football and win at the same time especially when you are by far the underdog.
Someone had already told you earlier on that we are currently punching above our weight - that should give you an idea of our current level.... Meaning that
In other words, we should accept our winnings and celebrate them however they come!!! i find myself falling in love with your submissions |

TheSuperNerd: A little part of me wants us to lose to stay humble.... But then I still stand by my draw prediction or a Nigeria win. Anyway, just wanna enjoy the game... Especially that Matic Vs Ndidi battle...
Note: Nigeria 2-1 (or 3-1) Serbia or Nigeria 1-1 Serbia... Not really in a predictive mood tonight. But Nigeria to win or draw. we've got quite a young and inexperienced squad who I believe on their day would beat any team. Build up to this game has been less entertaining and with our wins over argentina and poland still fresh in our memory, I predict they'd let complacency rear its ugly head. A defeat wouldn't make me feel bad but i'd get ecstatic over a win anyway |

SerVik: Nigeria was always the second option for Iorfa and his father, they were holding out for England and they felt their chances where brighter at Iorfa's young age.
The plan was that he'd play for England if the invitation came or if they showed any interest, but if there is no interest before 23 then they'd fall back to their 2nd choice. They wanted to play a fast one on us.
You're the one always harping it into our heads that 19 in football terms is no longer a young age. A player is supposed to have made those decisions even before 20. If I approach you when I need you and you turn me down citing a hogwash as excuse, best believe, when you need me, I won't even look you twice.
We are a moving train, we stopped for him and he refused to hop on, we've moved on. He should join the next train(England) if he thinks he possesses the necessary boarding pass(talent). you just murdered his point |

darkelf: Bro, we need to learn how to play without Mikel.
In fact, I'm in support of him not starting in our next match.
Doing so successfully will further cement the fact that we are a complete team not totally dependent on any individual.
I also was tinkering with an idea; our ex-internationals that were known to be very creative and good passers (Okocha, Kanu, Oliseh et Al) can organize a workshop for our midfielders and train with them. At the very least, to give them pointers and inspire confidence . on playing without mikel, we have no choice. It's definitely gonna take time before the players get used to it. It's a good thing mikel isn't an injury prone kinda player else eyes would be raised. We are just spineless without him. Just like chelsea without hazard. |

Daejoyoung: Ezenwa conceeded 4 against Ghanian B team, but looked solid against Cameroon, because he was protected by Ekong and Balogun. You can't rule Ajiboye out completely simply because of the Moroccan game. Ajiboye was at fault for most of the goals he conceded against morrocco. Parrying the ball to the opposition like he's an assist king and can't even marshal his defense properly. Those are just primary and negligible requisites but he's shortchanged in that regard. You saw uzoho doing quite the opposite yesterday so that should tell you that uzoho and ajiboye ain't in the same echelon. |

Kog45: Sir let us be analytical here and talk football and don't let us be emotional on mere football issues.
Let us learn from one another so that we can enjoy this great thread. We all watched yesterday match and is a must for us too talk about the positives and negatives of the game.
Minnd you we view football differently and opinions must be differed based on individual knowledge and experience
Uzoho i watched yesterday still has a long way to go and the only way out is to keep on improving in every game.Uzoho against Argentina was more confident than Uzoho against Poland,if you doubt it go and watch the two matches again.
Kudos to Rohr for believing in him and this is what a good coach do and compare Ajiboye performance against Morocco with Uzoho is out of it.
Pls try and swap the two, Ajiboye with great defenders like Balogun and Leon against Poland and Uzoho with defenders like Eze and Orji against Morocco team B,then we can talk.
Truly Uzoho deserve our praise but any criticism should not be termed as personal cos we all want the best for Eagles.
I hope to see Uzoho again against Serbia with more convincing performance. my post was not intended to flare up emotions. We all know we're quite shortchanged in the goalkeeping department and with less than 3months to the mundial, you don't expect us to still be testing goalkeepers at a time we should be consolidating on the options at hand. Uzoho obviously lacks experience but has got talent. Worth adding also that he checks most of the qualities of a world class goalie. At this point it's as clear as a crystal ball he's going to be our NO.1 in Russia. We need to rally round him and give him maximum support not clamouring for new faces. It's nauseating |

Icon4s: That guy still lacks some fundamentals in goalkeeping. Leave confidence aside. he lacks some fundamentals yet he has kept a clean sheet in two matches against teams in the top ten. Yet your ajiboye with a truckload of fundamentals in stock dey chop 4 against morrocco B team. |

Admittedly I've never really watched Joel play until yesterday and judging by the hype here prior to the game, I had high expectations from him but I was left unimpressed. Didn't really see any world class moment. Just average. Our interplay was poor yesterday but it was expected. We played away against a team 6th in world football. We had an impotent attack too. Overall, I think we were lacking confidence and needed someone to inspire that. That's where mikel comes in. We'll take the win anyways. Gearing up for Serbia. I hope for a Barca esque display in Hive. In congo4ka's voice.my fellow eagulians |
