Proud to say I have made my first Google Cardboard and I must say, it's interesting. I even solved the annoying drift issue. However my lenses are need a bit more fine-tuning. Also, finding that special magnet is not easy but it works without the magnet.
Expect some pictures soon.
Mission accomplished!
What lenses did you use?
Webmasters / Google Hacked? by lifehacker: 4:03pm On Sep 02, 2015
Recently I saw this in a a forum on G+. Of course I didn't mind, it was a tech forum... Anything was expected

This wasn't expected.

I did a search on shooting in Macromode from my chrome browser, this is what I saw

Any possibility of a low level hack on Google search engines?

Have a friend who is an ophthalmologist who promised to help out.

Follow this instructions
Http://www.computerworld.com/article/2881175/emerging-technology/diy-build-your-own-google-cardboard-vr-viewer.html

I have permanent headphones attached to the straps of the vr box, lens don't magnify sound.
might as well make yours with audio feed capabilities!

Would be a deal breaker

Sometimes I look in but all I read is IMEI tweaking and free browsing. Yet to read anything here worth my time.
Will start work on two projects this month. Will make a Google VR viewer rather than buying one for N3000.
The second one is the internet of things. Found something that, combined with tasker will achieve one of my dreams i.e

As I approach my home, tasker will activate my hotspot which will put on my TV, heater and start microwaving a snack I left in it.
Sounds like science fiction but it's possible. Plan to start selling it once I iron out some issues

Oh Google Cardboard??
Got one for free from Google UX group in Enugu, I'm just going to say its not going to be easy grin grin

I think you mentioned something about it sometime ago, I'm definitely interested o.

Ps: Tasker? Damn!!!!
Long story short: I'm now using Tasker with little bits, and lord knows how automated it feels.

Pps: anybody here use the oneplus2? Need an invite o!

Lol

Good to know the originals still drop in once in a while to see what waste has been laid to the thread that was once exclusively a knowledge base. A place for exchanging and breeding ideas.
Been long we saw the likes of leopantro and Harry and mrUbuntu.
PS: GREENIFY WITHOUT ROOT ACCESS just DRAINED MY MYTOUCH4G BATTERY THEN, definitely going to try this one on my desire 820

wrong!!

THATS SO STEREOTYPICAL!!

when im with my friends we discuss RelativeLayout and Fragments and Activities and the craziness of schemas.android.com and how we usually import * in our main.java

sometimes we just chill off talking about building kernels and governors with our littered bottles of fayrouz
not everybody talks about the other humans with anatomic/physiologic differences and ingesting excess amounts of ethanol...
except its LSD. grin grin

Romance / Selfies, How Often? by lifehacker: 4:27pm On Dec 24, 2014
I don't really think this is a problem but its certainly not normal. My girlfriend takes so much selfies I'm always baffled whenever i go through her phone, i sincerely don't understand.

I perceive it as inferiority complex and maybe she's relying on how she looks to give her a sense of self importance and esteem.
She's definitely not dumb-ass and works in a company that requires tons of mental strength so i wont say her beauty is her forte. some might want to ask how much is too much,
I'd say: One day i had to back up her Card and i needed to do a swap on my workstation. I had to group her pictures folder by date modified and only that day she'd taken a whooping 64 pictures!! all selfies in different scary positions!

I once confronted her but she didn't give it a thought and maybe thought i was just jealous cos her camera was sharper than mine, and she always thinks I'm feigning it no matter how serious i look when I'm asking her

pls do you guys think this is normal or am i just looking for trouble?

64gb memory card + 1gb data plan + xbmc Gotham + the YouTube video below =
1. thousands of tv shows and movies
2. No more navi and dead links
3. select format of movies or tv shows to stream or download
4. confusion where to start.

I recommend "The inbetweeners" . it's the British version of the " the big band theory".
