As a girl at the forefront of technology myself,I would advice she learns tech skills that would be useful even in her career; data analysis, data science,etc

But if she wants to venture in tech alone fully, I'd recommend she learns some others related to her interest.

It's easy. Data analytics is the best route.
From accounting I self-learned HTML, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, C#, ... the list is long. I have a colleague who is a Java and C# guru, same accounting background. Mind you those were the days you have to read books and documentations and no video tutorials. We learned the hard way.

From my experience, the best route for a newbie is Data Analytics and Visualization, which can all be done in Excel, no single coding! Power BI is also an important tool to learn (easier than Tableau).
If she wants a tougher challenge, Python and/or R for Data Analysis.
If she is artistic and loves design, front end development (JavaScript) or Adobe suite for graphic design.
