FTMS is not a "University" but a college that partners with foreign universities. All their degrees both Bsc and Masters are Awarded by foreign Universities. "University of East London UK, Leeds Metropolitan University UK, Anglia Ruskin University UK certificate" like Youngbilly1 said. Best of luck.

My brother everything that guy said is true, please abegi don't count FMTS besides Central Market, abegi forget that school, do you know that Uni of Ibadan ranks higher than all the school in Malaysia and Do you know that South African Universities ranked higher than all universities in Malaysia, check the world university ranking 2016 via timeshighereducation.com. Universities that ranked high in Malaysia are: ukm, ups, USM, utm and the ranked 601-800 same ranking with university of nairobi Kenya and Uni of Ibadan but South african unis ranked from 120 best in the world. All the same wishing all man da best
My brother in Malaysia the education system is very different that's why you have to research before choosing a University.
They have
1. Private Institutions
2. Branch Campuses of Foreign Universities.
3. 3+0 degree is one of the most affordable ways of getting a foreign degree. '3+0' degree means that students enroll for a degree programme at a Malaysian college or university that collaborates with a foreign partner university. The student completes the entire degree at the Malaysian college or university, but will be awarded with a foreign degree qualification from partner universities in the UK, the US, Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand or France. The qualification will be the same as if you studied at the partner university abroad. The syllabus and assessment methods will also be the same as the partner university.

You can have a Uk, US, Australian, France so on degree from $10,000 to $35,000 for a full 3 years BSC, for masters from $8000 to $20,000. Now you wanna compare University of Ibadan certificate, South African university Certificate with a Monash University Certificate, University of Sheffield Certificate, University of Southampton Certificate and so on.

Yes he his saying the truth but some of it are false. Student who wanna study aboard will have to research about where they are going to before they embark on their journey.

1. "Firstly Malaysians don't like blacks and the see all Blacks as criminals, fraudsters/conman, black money vendor, and prostitute. YES he's right"

2. "They don't know the difference between someone from Ghana, South Africa, African-American and Nigeria, once you're black you're Nigerian and a criminal, even those that will smile at you especially the Chinese, they are doing so because you have something financially to offer or you're always coming to their pubs with friends to drink" YES he's right

3. "There is discrimination in housing, I mean renting a place and that is why you see Nigerians and Africans living much in Puchong, Cheras, Subang Jaya, cyber Jaya, Bukit Jali, Selayang, Kajang and only few lives in KL, if you doubt try and search for apartment, call the agent and tell him/her you're a Nigeria or African then watch his/her response which usually " owner don't want foreigner". YES he's right

4. You can't work and study. YES he's right

But when you talk about education here, don't compare Malaysia! maybe the school you went to is not well recognized, if you wanna see lotta ethnicities visit well known schools, or visit education fairs then you see lotta foreigners from different ethnicities who wanna study here.

so it left for the individual to decide what he/she wanna do.

And by the way allhavesinned i saw your last post before it was taken off. Student fail to research that's why they make wrong decisions and start complaining. I'm not studying in FTMS but i have friends studying there, the BSC and MSC certificate from FTMS college cyberjaya is well recognized, you wanna tell me University of East London UK, Leeds Metropolitan University UK, Anglia Ruskin University UK certificate are not recognized? students who wanna compare Universities by their ranking should study in the US lol
Anyone coming to Malaysia should research and do their personal home work before coming here. NO JOBS here, Just a few! there are Nigerians working here but like i said JUST A FEW! But if anyone thinks Germans, Ukrainians, French and Australians don't study in Malaysian come to Sunway University and you will see for yourself. lol I never even talk Monash or Taylor University.

Mr man! Everyone have their personal reasons for studying in Malaysia. You wanna compare a degree from UPM, Sunway, Taylor, FCUC, FTMS and so on... to south african universities? REALLY!
bro don't be ignorant! Even other Asians, Europeans, Australians and Arabs come to study in Malaysia. I have lotta foreign student in my class FCUC..."Japanese, South Korean, Egpytian and Iranian" JUST 1 malay. They've all been together since Foundation year, Degree and now Masters. Why do you think some people choose to study in Malaysia because they have 3+0 degrees from UK, Australian universities rather than paying £11,000/yr in Uk for the degree they rather study in Malaysia for £4000/yr sometimes as low as $10,000 for a 3yr BSC degree. I have been to South Africa please tell me which jobs pays good in South Africa. Bros behave yourself don't infest your ignorance and discourage other people. Yes there's racism here, there's scam here. Tell me a country where there's no scam and no racism. Don't dull! grow up.
Bro what you said is right. Show me a country where there's no racism, how you package yourself matters! If you wanna study in Malaysia go to a good and well recognized University or College. Do research! google is there to help.

@ lighthousearc Did your wife apply a week before her visa expired? or she applied after. Malaysian will not deport you if you still have a valid visa.
There are due process to take , although immigration officers are wary of african nationals without a genuine reasons, Please make sure you find out all necessary requirements before embarking on such.
My brother i did my home work well, made sure she applied for the Visa herself in Nigeria. As soon as she got her visa she flew afterwards. When she arrived the port of entry they went through her documents. They refused her entry saying she's a (THREAT), did a random body search, asked why she had two luggages asking why she has some local food.

Malaysia is a very good place for a honeymoon vacation. I'm not talking about racism here. Since when I have been in Malaysia, I have not been attacked or molested. In my school I'm the only black guy in my class Dominated by Chinese. In the school we are just 8 blacks students. I don't feel intimidated for any reason.
Everyone is advising the couple to come. My only advise is for them to think twice before coming to Malaysia. Passing through the Malaysian port of entry with a social visa is the wahala. It's about 12 days now a granny was sent back at the port of entry carrying a "Social Visa" All because she want to take care of her son's new born. Even though we have links that could clear her from the counter but it's quite difficult now. Having fun in Malaysia is not a problem. But passing through the immigration port of entry with a SOCIAL VISA is the problem.
Everyone has different experiences in Malaysia. Like you said the couples should think twice about their plans. I am pursing my PHD in UPM, my wife was deported even though she wanted to spend a week in Malaysia and also had enough BTA. She was in immigration custody for 2 days.
