Without Melinda he will still survive...he has been surviving before she met him. As a man with dreams we know how to find our ways around things. It's call DETERMINATION. From my point of view, Robert has no fault!. If both of them were together he wouldn't actualize his dreams, even to get a good job was a problem, because he's an ex convict!....
