Nigeria scoring 80/196 in the world and 8/54 in Africa is not enough reason to regret being a Nigerian. Whatever gaps we see today in Nigeria are the opportunities those in the top nations lack and that is why many of them are here carting away trillions of $ each year to their home country. It's about time we stop whining and get out there doing those things that brought the top nations where they are today. |
Guys, please read and understand before replying. The research was about time (am or pm) of death not date (day, week, month or year) of death. |
Confirmed! Electricity supply has improved in Rumuomasi area for a week now. I hope however, that this improvement is for real, 'cos my 30 litre reserve has been untouched for a week now. |
To do a rational comparison, one need to consider infrastructure (electricity, transportation, agricultural etc) , systems(social, economic and political), and purchasing power of both countries. When put in proper perspective really, there's no basis to compare Uk and Nigeria, You may however compare Nigeria with Venezuela (where petrol costs less than 5 Naira/litre . pyramid777 enjoy ur ride. nothing do you. Hyundai Elantra actually beats Toyota Corolla in the latest ranking within its class. [ Ref: http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-trucks/rankings/Affordable-Small-Cars/ ] Elantra ranks 5th while Corolla ranked 13th. These rankings considered car performance, safety, exterior design, interior design, and reliabilty. In my opinion Toyota cars are actually overpriced, and moreso in Nigeria. It's a shame Nigerians are being ripped off for just brand name. |
Okay inspired, you are the expert. I await your email on the prices. Thank you |
Inspired, I am interested and wish to order a 2001 toyota camry through your pre-order scheme. Could you give me your pre-order prices for 2001 Toyota Camry LE and XLE (below 80,000 miles) from the US? Thanks and awaiting your response. . . |
You guys seem to hold these cars for too long, leaving no room for negociations. What's your last price for this one? Could you plaese release the VIN or more details on the car. I am offering you 1.3m cash after inspection. Thanks. |
Viperman, my offer is 1.3m. Cash is available after inspection. |
AN OPEN LETTER TO JAMB/SIDMACH PARTNERSHIP: Dear Sidmach/JAMB Webmaster, This is to bring to your attention my frustrations with registering my two wards for the 2007/2008 UME. Since purchasing the scratch cards 3 days ago, I have tried unendingly to register these children but to no avail. My office internet link is superfast (a major Oil Company's Network) and very reliable but your registration forms seem to be having access problems with your server as they are too slow. PLEASE COULD YOU RECTIFY WHATEVER THE PROBLEM IS FOR US TO REGISTER OUR WARDS. I suggest you: 1. make the registration forms more user friendly (put save and modify buttons, page 1 and page 2 links, etc such that one can switch directly between the pages rather than starting afresh when links with your server fails) 2. reduce frequent and several access/communication to your server while on a page (let all drop-down data be loaded once the page loads rather than stepwise loading of database which annoyingly slows the process) 3. design each registration page to save automatically while continuing to the next page (to remove the frustration of going over and over to the first page to start afresh whenever the page looses contact with your server). 4. consider using a robust database management software (like Oracle etc ) such that the database querry wont be so time consuming. You may not follow my suggestions but I believe these give you an overview of frustrations of lots of ume candidates and parents out there as well as potential future system improvement options. HOPING TO SEE IMPROVED ONLINE REGISTRATION FORMS SOONEST, INORDER TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION OF MY 2 WARDS FOR THE 2008 UME. Thank you, Regards, |

I guess you've not made up your mind yet on your offer price. Changing this from #1.2 m to #1.4 m is not the way to go. Consider my offer n revert accordingly if actually there's room to negotiate here. Tnx |
I have 900 K cash to pick up this car. Are you selling? |
Thanks guys! I am currently studying MBA with University of leicester and it has all been interesting and fun. See you at my graduation! ![]() |
HND holders are not destined for hell by default but the choices they make could lead them close to there. To make it in Nigeria or even elsewhere in the globe now, you need to have something other people are willing to pay for. This could be a special skill , service or product. Then and only then, your limitations are disolved. Check out the topic: "For Process Engineers, only!" under this nairaland Career category, This is the kind of skill I am advocating. Nowadays, its skills not degree that set people apart. A lot of actors/actresses making it in Nollywood today are not trained performing act professionals with heavy degrees but their special God given talents well harnessed took them there. So guys stop thinking "within the box" but "outside the box"! Discover your talents not your certificates and turn it to a selling product or service, and you wont remember what certificate you carry again. Bill Gates was not a computer expert but now he can beat the computer and I.T. professors to their profession. You are whom God created you to be and that does not depend on the degree you have, course you read, or country of your birth. Discover your God's You and heaven will surely be your desitination not hell! Finally, be informed that the future belongs to the entrepreneurs, self-employed, business owners and creative people! Employee and Pensioneer Mentality surely leads to hell instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kind regards. |

Thank you Delarontus for that info. Indeed I will need more info from you or anyone else who can contribute on this.I would also like to know exctly how the University of Leicaster representatives in Nigeria could be reached, as well as how to reach the spdc guys who are already in the programme to know the options available through this institution since you mentioned that it's not totally online, |
Hi Guys, I'm kind of wondering if any one in Nigeria has succesfully gone through any of these online postgraduate degree programmes from any of UK/USA/Canada universities, and if so how was it when compared with regular physical postgraduate degree. I hold a B.Eng degree and presently working in one of the Oil servicing companies in port harcourt. It has been my desire to hold a foreign degree, especially at masters level, but my busy work schedules would not allow me to participate in any regular post graduate studies yet. So, I am thinking seriously on taking up one of these online MBA degree programmes from any of the mentioned countries above. Please, could anyone who has gone through these programmes offer me some assistance wrt how best to go about it. Also which of the countries and/or online universities are the best in terms of flexibility of study programmes and reputation. Hoping for quality response from well-informed nairalanders! Thanks in advance. |
Hey guys, I'm looking for fairly used laptop to buy. Maximum of 1 year usage. Have any to sell at bargain price? |
