Aboki xchanger under threat because many of these big politicians are doing racketin. E be like say the Southern senetors get sense and understand the future than those cowtherium traders. Funny thing is that it can't change anything much. They only kill or draw many fintech back a lot and they will loose their transactions to foreigners.
It will only enrich foreign platforms like binance much not our own local banks and others. Then who loose?
oYA FG ban Binance.

Consecutive Nigerian govts have proved their incompetence in running businesses, so why allow them to run more businesses? Adapalm in Imo has been ruined because consecutive govts have paid lipped attention to it. However, Presco and Okomu have been successful over the years. You mentioned China that has a one party system, but in Nigeria, a different party might win the next election and decide to cancel such projects. What do you suggest? Should the government continue to run NITEL? NEPA? Nigerian Airways?
The Chinesee govt build and rent to the private guys.

Fund the industrial projects of the industralist.

Give dem subsidy to build,etc.

But they rarely run the biz.

If Naija govt immitate this system, our nations economy will boom.

Naija govt must invest in biz.

Our govts are only investing in construction.

Yes, the price will plummet but the koko is that Nigeria needs more fossils than renewables if she is to become industrialised. There's no developed country where renewables provide 50% of her energy. None.
Dem dey call renewables, Naija sef dey raise hand.

We no follow for that mata.

And we shouldnt support it.

Yes, because building refineries is a private business and government should not be in the business of business.
Dont allow evil Naija govt deceive you na.

The Chinese govt which is currently the best govt in the world is still investing in biz.

No let irresponsible govt decive you with such statements.

One of the reason why Naija is dying, is becos the govt no longer invest in business.

We have not reached that American/European stage economically.

Yes, because building refineries is a private business and government should not be in the business of business

Polices like the above mentioned are only valid in very developed societies and not Nigeria.

Nigerian govt love to copy the developed countries ignorantly.

Gerrard59:
Oga,

Oil is here to stay. China and India construct three coal plants monthly and still purchase large quantities of crude oil to supply their power plants. Africa is yet to be developed and will seek to use the cheapest forms of energies which are fossils. In fact, apart from transportation, it's hard to replace oil across other areas. Which renewable will replace plastics! Fertilisers? Detergents? Chemicals?

Oil is not going anywhere.
oIL IS not going anywhere, no doubt.

But the price will surly plummet in the future.

because cars/vehicler consumption are the major drivers of the product.

Once the whites create their anti crude polices ti will surly tank.

Trump played an important role keeping the price afloat, because he refused to be part of the green watever.

But Dinosaur Biden is in surport of anti crude oil plicies.

All these quota system billionaires lacks creativity and foresight. You didn't build refineries in the 1970's, 80's, 90's or even early 2000's but now that fuel cars are being phased out and renewable energy is gaining massive boost globally, that is when the craze for refinery got into their head!

You're talking about AFcta but you forgot that heavily subsidized refineries built all over the middle East, Asia and developed world will equally channel their excess capacity to Africa. How can they compete?

Why can't they spend these monies in building power plants considering that Nigeria has a massive deficit in it?

Quarter system billionaires indeed!

PoliticsRe: Dangote Refinery Can Bail Nigeria Out Of Economic Recession – IMF by LikeAking: 10:21am On Feb 11, 2021
ethicallyright:
Nigerian youths are pushing Nigeria deeper into recession by storing money that should be circulating in the economy as virtual currencies somewhere in the internet instead of investing in the production process no matter how small.

When I now become a billionaire in future after making the right moves in the manufacturing industry they'll now shout "monopoly".

Manufacturers are still the richest people, anywhere in the world. To be regarded as a wealthy person, one must own the means of production . To help your economy, you must create wealth through production.

Jeff Bezos (Amazon) , Elon Musk (Tesla) , Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) etc though regarded as tech billionaires still produce goods or services which gives worth to their stocks depending on how they perform in the market.

OK, well when David sinned against God, it wrecked his family not his money. So it's not a must that you will be poor, it may touch other aspect. One man that oppressed a widow in my village is still rich, even getting richer but the woman's cursed him and it affected his health badly to the point that his money haven't been able to help him.
That story na just illustration.

E no happen.
