I practiced Buddhism from 2014 to 2018. In all, Buddhism taught me it isn't the labels that matter, but who I have become as a Buddhist.

I was fortunate to be under the teachings of Western circular Buddhist who describes himself as someone who is irreligious but enormously inspired by the knowledge the Buddha shared. I followed in that path and I loved every bit of it.

In 2017, I met a Buddhist community here in Nigeria that practiced Nicheren Buddhism, Soka Gakkai International (SGI). I was excited about the idea of meeting people who shared my faith but along the line, I was never drawn to that sect. Eventually, I left the group and dropped Buddhism as a religion in 2018.

What I learned: it is not about being a "spiritual" person, but about walking the path. It is not about the labels, it is about your personality and character.

Take it from someone who has studied all of those spiritual/religious systems and MORE, it is about who you are! You would find yourself telling people even when they didn't ask about how spiritual you are but true spiritual knowledge will teach you not of that matters at all.

Your quest for spirituality may still be disguided even if it is for a greater cause.

Did you acquire any spiritual powers through Buddhism?

I love Buddhism so much,it's my favorite religion. I love their maturity and deep knowledge of the world.

I observed practicing this religion will enable people solve some of the physical problems facing humanity. I have also benefited from the little meditation I have done. I am not descipled with my medications (I still struggle to find time**Procrastination**).

Buddhist teaching actually helped me to understand my mind,know it merits and demerits. It enabled me to embark on the journey of conquering my mind, silencing the thinker(Monkey mind).

This little practice has helped me a lot.

I can now focus for a short time,with less distractions.

Thank you all for all the inspiring comments.

Inside me I feel a connection with the unknown.

I have to be a tight man by all means in this country.

I want to b in charge o my destiny.

I don't want evil people to interface in in.my life.

I want to be able to read people, the present and the future.

I want to be untouchable.

Money is the least of my ambition's.

One of the reason why I am not still married is because of my inability to posses deep spiritual knowledge/power.

Over some time now, one of the major businesses that is powerfully advertised by Nigerian marketers is mini importation.
