Go to Songhai farm in Port Novo, Starcest in Abuja, Obasanjo Farm in Ota, Fashola farm in Badagry, David Mark in Nasarawa and come and learn modern techniques of farming that will guarantee you profit.

I pity your type that still wallow in delusion of quick money, thinking you can become Bill Gate or Mark Zuckerberg in an environment where technology, electricity and basic infrastructures are not available to achieve what they have achieved is not only myopic but utterly ignorance.

Let me tell you, Nigeria and Africa depends largely on extractive and agricultural commodity to survive, even Dangote started within an agriculrural subsector.

Please, dont insult our intelligence here in a platform of almost 500 pages with thousands of followers, if it hasn't worked for you, please seek advise from professionals at least we have many of them on this platform. Keep your ignorance in fish farming to yourself and stop discouraging genuine people looking for ways to add value to their lives

The fact that you still hang around fish forum is enough to convince me that you are still seeking knowledge regarding fish business and i believe if you persist you will definitely tell a new story.

Sir, let me agree that fish farming is not for faint hearted. Your endurance disposition must be very high for you to succeed, but who told you other businesses dont have high challenges like fish business, maybe you're referring to buying and selling, then you may have some point to back your belief.

Loosing money is not an indication that fish farming is not a good business, many of us are making money out of it after initial setback and losses. You may go back and read between page 78 and 100 to read some of my agonising comments.

However, let me be frank with you and if you will be humble enough to take a look at this the better for you.

Suffice it to say that Nigerians can be innovative, hardworking resilience and focus, but the society has suppressed all that and average Nigerian operating within Nigerian system barely explore quarter of his potential, we have simply been spoilt by oil money and our level of focus is weak making many to run from business but rather stick to white collar job where they felt job security is guaranteed.

The fact is fish farming is like every other business, the higher the risk the higher the returns. Hedging against such risks determines your success in the business.

Sadly, but the truth is that you or your brother didnt do enough, thats why he failed. You may ascribe all the reasons to different factors but ill put it to you to look at the mirror. Sir, you are the reason for your failure.

If you want to give it another try, kindly consider the following
1. Focus not on the profit but on the result
2. Learn as much as you can in any area of fish farming you want to do
3. Be creative and innovative in your approach
4. Dont be afraid to lose money
5. Create synergy and relate with successful fish farmers around you
6. Explore modern techniques in your production
7. Be patient and be determined
8. Optimise your management practice
9. Read extensively about fish farming
10. Put what youve learn to practice.

The only barrier between you and success in your fish business is just extra effort, strike it once again, and you'll have a new story about fish farming to tell.

Both men and women endure abuses in marriages?

And the reasons can be many, and specific rather than general.

For example, I was not married but I endured abuses from my girlfriend for 4 years while I was in school. She was excessively jealous, rude, mannerless, narcissistic and sometimes violent. Her violence was not so much that she sometimes hit me, it was that sort of violence that involved breaking up things.

So, why did I not leave?

I did not leave because the me that entered into that relationship had been remodeled to a weakling. Constant nagging and abuses had lowered my self-esteem to the extent that I began to doubt if I could live without my abuser. Of course, that was what the abuser wants. To make you helpless so that they can put themselves over you.

That is why they make sure they drive your friends away, condemn your taste, your choices in life. They will criticize your sense of fashion, your type of friends, until you begin to depend on them to select for you the people whom you should befriend and whom you should not befriend, they make sure you wear only what they like. Anytime you try to object and they sense that they are losing their control over your lives, they would throw tantrums, and if you are a gentleman like I was, you will quickly do what they want. In other words, you have no freedom to decide your own life, to chart your own path. Hearing a "no" from you reminds them of their insecurities.

An abuser will also put you down until your self esteem is zero. They can tell you that you are not beautiful enough or handsome enough for them. They can tell you that thousands of women or men are out there begging them to leave you but because they love you, they have rejected the advances. They can even exaggerate the number of their daily toasters to make you cherish them more because they have made you scared of losing them.

Another thing the abuser does is to guilt trip you. Because the abuser has a low self-esteem, he cannot bring himself to accept his mistakes. He is always looking for someone to put all the blames on.

I gave a woman counseling many years ago. Her husband was cheating on her, and he was doing it to her face. But that was not what baffled me. What baffled me was the way the woman was struggling to take the blames for her husband's lack of class.

She was saying that, "It is my fault. I don't dress sexy for my husband, maybe I have to give him more doggy-style than I give him...bla bla bla."

That is what the abuser wants. As long as you take the blames for the abuser's mistakes, you will never think of leaving them. You will always blame yourself for their own mistakes.

My girlfriend was guilty of everything above. I was forced into doing her assignments for her because she would say, "why are we in a relationship if we can't help each other" then she would remind me of how she helped me when I was in a financial mess. Before you know it, I would be doing her assignments even if I have loads of other important things to do. Another of her line was "my friends always wonder what I saw in you".

That line stopped working when we graduated. With a first class degree in my pocket, the beast still wanted to rubbish my achievement by messing with my head.

It took the grace of God for me to leave. Before that time, I had attempted to leave many times, but somehow, she would find the words to make me sit down back. One of my own major problems was finance anyway. She was the one who had the more cash.

I am deluded in any way to believe I have a God-side. I don't believe there is such a thing and I know this for a fact.
I have tred the lengths and breaths of my mind for most of my life and I can absolutely tell you that the idea of a God-side to our existence is yet another delusion manufactured in the minds of men.

I don't know why prayer's don't get answered in the case of others.
I used to have to answer my own prayers--- I had to make things happen of my own will and accord. But when I decided to get serious with God, I got a taste of what I would imagine it feels like to ride the "synchronicity highway". And I got hooked since then. I have a better understanding of what the problem was in my case, and I hope to go from having about 30% answered cases to 100% in good time.
There is no question that He can do for humans, and He does. But are humans willing to do what He requires of them as well?

That is a lie. If you motivate your mind and thoughts with your prayers, you will get the same things the world has been getting for thousands of years.
If that is what you want to get, that is good for you.

Prayer is supposed to be what the one who is prayed to wants it to be. Not what the one who prays desires for it to be instead. I think in your confusion, you have convinced yourself that you, the one who prays, gets to set the rules on how it ought to work -- the arrogance of man!

That ain't no fact. I have spoken to God through prayer and He has answered on numerous occassions. I have had situations where even before I open my mouth to speak, He tells me he already had it covered.

There is no truth to anything you have said so far. Not even as far as the place of the mind as far as communication between beings human, is.

Humans don't need to pray to motivate themselves... If I need extra motivation, I have pills for that.

Nah!! Bullpiss!!! Your idea of love and compassion may not agree with the next man and so on and so forth. So I don't want to even begin to tell you how I have learnt that man's idea of love ain't exactly always appealing. But God's love is the only love that can get us that Eden we all desire.
I have seen the man's love in action, and it is as unholy as man remains.

God is not man that I should have to do that though. What Jesus said about prayer is what I believe. And He was straight forward about what was to be expected in all cases. Anything different from that, I see as a problem that requires resolution

Go back to re-read Matthew 6:9-13, there you'll find that, whatvJesus actually did with them, was teach them a model way of praying.

He introduced them first with a novel idea of addressing God in an endearing manner. This of course would have been alien, strange and shocking for them because the Hebrews/Jews/Israelites never pronounce God's name. They address and write God's name with blanks, placeholder or omitted alphabet because they considered His name to be Holy and they dont want to say it in vain etcetera

Anyway, Jesus then continued with teaching them how to enter His presence, then how to adore and praise God, then how to acknowledge and appreciate God's purpose and/or plan, then how to recognise and admit our dependency on Him, went on to how to seek forgiveness from God and teach how to forgive others, then finally how to recognise God is our Protector.

Probably because one has the power of CHOICE. If you do not need his help, why should this God FORCE his help on you just cause he knows you have a need?
Positive affirmations are simply mental exercises. Those do not amount to much as work needs to be done outside of your mind for those mental afffirmations to amount to much in the end.
