MadamExcellency: The Op didn't do mathematics in School.
When you multiply the numerator and the denominator with the same number. It is called inflation and nothing will change.
Purchasing power of your currency doesn't come from charging your fellow citizens higher for your services.
Is like saying that Nigeria will be a great country if the government prints money and distributes to all her citizens. Most of the paper economics and maths are trash.. The can't survive the real world.. |

VeeVeeMyLuv: The main problems still boils down to corruption. So long as corruption is vibrant active industry in Nigeria this kind of rubbish will continue!
Purchasing power very weak, unemployment rate very high with very few industries. It's a thing of consciousness too.. We charge too low cos of poverty mentality.. The money we are charging for our services can't even help us in life, yet we accept it. |

SmartPolician: I am sorry I don't agree with you. If you refuse to do a menial job that pays peanuts, many people are willing to do the job. Nigerians on the streets (not those faking it online) understand that the country is not getting any better.
This is where government should come in and enact laws to protect the poor and weak from the exploitation of the rich. But because we have irresponsible people in government, exploitations go unnoticed. Even foreigners (especially Asians) come into this country and treat Nigerians like second-class citizens. Nigerians need to wise up too.. E don do.. This people have money. |

Here is the crazy part of it all..
Government will use 50 billion to construct bridges sand the workers will still be paid 30 - 50 k per month..
While the bigs boys earn billions of Naira from that same project.
Even the government is exploiting them.
This is injustice..
We are poor because we charge too low for our services |

SmartPolician: It's partly the government's fault. If we had a working country, nobody would pay workers below the minimum wage. It's even funny that the minimum wage is even peanut. Given today's economic reality, minimum wage shouldn't be less than N100k.
I think we should change our personal income tax laws so that the rich can start paying higher taxes. That's the only way Nigeria's wealth can circulate. That's what many countries do. It's not the government, we are ignorant and we have been programed to manage poverty.. Many Nigerians are poor because they are been under paid by the private sector.. |

They have made us believe many Nigerians are poor because of bad government or corruption... That's one of the worst human programing of lies in the world.
Yes corruption is one of the reasons, but it's not the main reason...
The main reason why Nigerians are Soo poor is because Nigerians render the services for peanuts...
Those working are taking peanuts, small money for their hard work.
Same jobs that make people poor here is what people do and earn real money is overseas...
We Nigerians don't have any value for the services we render, we render our services almost free and then we die in poverty...
How can a graduate accept 20k for teaching job?
He/she will end up dieing in poverty, but he/she doesn't care, because we have been trained to accept Poverty and also wait on the government to do magic.
The rich on the other have great value for thier services and they bill accordingly for it... Senators earn over 30 million per month doing little or almost nothing..
Let's be wise. |

Rtk4: Our last son just clocked 2years just a week ago and my wife is insisting that he starts school by September, so i told her i don't have money to enroll him in a school by September. I also let her know that the basic age for a child to start school is 3years. I sighted example of alot of people within our vicinity who also waited for their children to reach 3years before enrolling them in school. She still maintains her stands and i also maintain mine. Though he is so wise above his age but i don't have money for that now. He can count 1-10 already.... Please guys what is your take on this? You are a simp.. Send that woman packing.. |

Did you know Covenant University usually takes top 3 in Nigeria, dragging with UI and Unilag? Landmark is in top 10, while Babcock and Bowen are not far behind. Did you ever attend any university? When you have understanding of those, you will see why total university autonomy in Nigeria will make you pay 7 digits for your education yearly.

Either of the day when Tesla's earning reports will be released, which should be in the positives too. Crypto will move definitely, but I feel Dodgecoin should perform.

Kirchoffs: I stay alone in a room and parlor self contain here in Lagos , although we have constant light, I have been in this area for less than 2year and light is at least 23-24 hrs per day.
I use 7000 naira to buy Nepa units on the 28th June and it’s finished already today being 12th of July, note that I don’t use anything that draws power in my house .
UPDATE!!!!
So I went to Nepa office today and I was told that there is a debt of 65k on the prepaid meter, each time I recharge Nepa takes off 60% from me for the debt settlement.
Now my question is, am I supposed to be paying a debt I don’t owe or is this the duty of the landlord. No go fight with your landlord cos of this.. Just sit with him and discuss... Those power companies are crooks they always claim people are owing them. Were for Lagos wey u dey live? I'm asking cos of the steady light.. |

We have tuition free schools in some part of the world, u get quality education (at least better than any private or government owned school in Nigeria) and u don't pay tuition. How many Nigerians are even paying tax? Is it up to 30% of the population? How much is dia task? We are not been tasked in Nigeria, no worri. Nothing is free in the white man's land, they pay heavily for it via task.. But they call it free, it's just one of those narratives. |
