Romance › Re: Nigerian Lady Lists Reasons Why Igbo Men Are The Best Husbands/boyfriends by Lilimax(f): 3:23pm On Nov 26, 2016 |
dokiOloye: 1st of all,I'm Igbo and might be biased, but truth is,I used to reason like U until I went to work in Damaturu Yobe state and and a muslim girl from Adamawa who was born and brought up in Maidugri sensitized me to d Igbo factor. She was full of praise for d Igbo men she lived wt in Maidugri. She was like,an Igbo man will be a near illiterate but she will make sure d wife schools in University of Maidugri,he won't manage a polytechnic. She said d Igbo men there will be riding a tattered pickup cab wc they use for their business but their wife will be riding d best sedan or SUV. An Igbo man will maybe be always dressed in near rags due to d nature of his business but his wife will always be dressed in d most expensive lace, hollandis, etc, she said many other things I can't remember nw. And d catch is,it is MOST Igbo men,not some, cos I know it can be argued that U will find SOME men wt such xteristics in every tribe. Ehe,by d way, among d diff tribes in Nigeria, who has d least divorce rate?? Cos she also noted that U hardly hear of separation or divorce among Igbo couples wc is true, that Igbo men might cheat but that is even when they take d most care of their wives and families. An averrage Igbo man will put his wife and kids first before pleasure. There is nothing like' E lo ba Iya e' commonly heard in the South west He may misbehave with women outside wedlock but will never marry her cos polygamy is a taboo |

My father told me something when I wanted to marry one Segun (of the blessed memory) that you hardly find a successful Yoruba man with one wife. I usually have this at the back of my mind and from my findings it is 90% true. I don't know why? However, this polygamy lifestyle is on the decline anyway among their Christian folks |

greatjoey: Why is Christianity always a threat to you Muslim Umma? Several books cutting across Islam and Chistianity were listed Here. The NN member who mentioned the one titled ' the people v Mohammed' did not make any comparism between Islam and Christianity, neither did he indicate that he was a christian. But all you could do was to show that your comment to counter his assertion would not hold water until Christianity and the Bible were mentioned. Don't you know that alot of Atheists make post to castigate other religions too? From time being, Muslims like you have done many things to put out the light of christianity. But it remains a true faith in all generations. They import Bible in their millions and destroyed them, killed millions of christian to eliminate and subjugate Christianity, imprisoned millions, waged ware fare against it, forced millions to convert to Islam like it was done in Kwara, Oyo, Niger, Kaduna, and many states by Usman Dan fodio etc, make it a death punishment for a muslim to convert to other religion etc. Yet, Christianity keeps waxing strong. The practice of Islam undos the popularity as it is founded on Cannibalism. Checkbout what is happening between the Shia and the Sunni in Nigeria, Iran, Siria, Iraq etc. I said it times without number that there is nothing like a moderate muslim. That venom of hatred and killings always flow in their blood stream For the fact they've not gone on a suicide mission to kill Christians is because they've not seen the opportunity 2 Likes 1 Share |

VomeSchakleton: Lol! You mean the farce of a book filled with the most subjective mainstream misconceptions of the infidels which is available for free online and on amazon? Muslims scared of reading that pile of winnits? Do you know how many times a clueless plonker thought he wrote a book that will supress islam? Small fry its impossible. Unlike christianity whose very own book, the funny bible is its undoing! How dare you call the HOLY BIBLE a funny book 2 Likes 1 Share |

joanana: I don't understand the above nwa Nna. Bia if I generalise that all men are stingy, flirtatious and selfish. I will still be singe don't you think so. Not all fingers are equal, so not all yorubas are the same. Besides I have had my share of dating yoruba men and I found them to be loving, caring, and not selfish rather selfless. That is my take oooo. One man's meat is another mans kpomo.
My boo of life is different, he was personally made for me alone. Don't worry I will be fine cos we are in for a very long ride. You too mark my words I will be back here in 10years to tell my testimony.
Gone are the days parents chose husbands and wives for their children. I should not marry my boo because he's not from my tribe, when i know that m lost without him. Sis I totally agree with you cos most parents usually reacts negatively when you want to marry non- tribe. However, it takes prayers and determination to win their heart. I can see you're in a safe hands sis. and may God bless your union in Jesus name. Amen. |
