1st of all,I'm Igbo and might be biased,but truth is,I used to reason like U until I went to work in Damaturu Yobe state and and a muslim girl from Adamawa who was born and brought up in Maidugri sensitized me to d Igbo factor.
She was full of praise for d Igbo men she lived wt in Maidugri.
She was like,an Igbo man will be a near illiterate but she will make sure d wife schools in University of Maidugri,he won't manage a polytechnic.
She said d Igbo men there will be riding a tattered pickup cab wc they use for their business but their wife will be riding d best sedan or SUV.
An Igbo man will maybe be always dressed in near rags due to d nature of his business but his wife will always be dressed in d most expensive lace,hollandis,etc,she said many other things I can't remember nw.
And d catch is,it is MOST Igbo men,not some,cos I know it can be argued that U will find SOME men wt such xteristics in every tribe.
Ehe,by d way,among d diff tribes in Nigeria,who has d least divorce rate??
Cos she also noted that U hardly hear of separation or divorce among Igbo couples wc is true,that Igbo men might cheat but that is even when they take d most care of their wives and families.

I don't understand the above nwa Nna. Bia if I generalise that all men are stingy, flirtatious and selfish. I will still be singe don't you think so. Not all fingers are equal, so not all yorubas are the same. Besides I have had my share of dating yoruba men and I found them to be loving, caring, and not selfish rather selfless.
