Abeg this us tourist visa stuff is becoming absurd and a joke.I really wanted to visit the US this year and my mom who was my sponsor has a very good job to sponsor my trip comfortably. I was not even asked about my sponsor.There are just so many flaws in their system.As I was there today I counted everybody that was interviewed and they were 29 before me only 4 people were issued the visa. So tell me how do they know someone is "genuine" by not checking their documents or statement of account or anything just asking questions at face value and for those saying travel history is compulsory I have friends that haven't travelled before and got their visa and still overstayed their visa and others who have extensive travel history and still got denied.They will be forming "psychologists". From my observation I feel they are filtering people at random and they only give the few who they feel will be still be safe for their economy even If they overstayed. 1 Like |

Please I want to ask if they call your guarantor to verify before issuing the passport. Because I am not really familiar with my guarantor and the officer in charge of my application just told me they called the guarantor and they couldn't verify my guararator was legit.I was told to pay 7k so they can help me process it like that.I did pay but I hope he didn't scam me.. Was supposed to go pick up the passport tomorrow |

Well transportation cost is okay Crime rate is okay..It was much worse a few years ago..I guess most robbers have turned to yahoo Housing is affordable The streets are mostly waterlogged when it rains due to bad drainage system so make sure u choose an area that isn't prone to flooding Rainy season here is usually very rainy so is dry season..it's a harsh weather There are a lot of pretty girls here Benin people are not too ambitious u can feel it in the spirit of the city.. Night life is 5/10 Food is quite cheap There are two malls..one at kada plaza and filmhouse close to uniben. These is my experience as a uniben student residing in Benin for more than 4 years now |
