Its lyk am seeing sense in dis centralised and subsidized cafeteria system oo..after getting infos from uites and my daddy who don witness dis system before..i tink d system is kinda beta.
Subsidized caf system is diff from normal system in private schools.
In d onex of private schools..if u chop food worth 350..u gonna pay 350 but in dat of UI, they will remove subsidy..my dad said, in dos dayx, u pay 60percent of d food u eat , u chop 350 food, u go pay 200..u chop 100 food, u pay 60bucks..and somtymx u will buy tickets per month)so tru out dat month ur fud na winks*.
My dad also said in d system, tea and snacks are FREE.
Dis system gonna make sense ooo.60% lyk ma popcy said..BLESS.

After an extensive deliberation, pondering,
discussion, calculation and computation with
the vice-chancellor in his office last night, the
vice-chancellor states the following position:
1. Accommodation fee will remain at #14,000
which is to be managed by different hall
management.
2. Priority will be given to first and final year
student
3. Refurbishment of Reading and common
rooms across all the halls of residence
4. Abolishment of cooking in rooms and use
or possession of cooking utensils such as
hotplate, stove, gas in halls of residence, he
however stated that kitchenette will be
provided in halls that do not have, and
existing kitchenette will be refurbished but
will be meant for light cooking such as boiling
water.
5. Resuscitation of Cafeteria system.
The Union executives and stakeholders
agreed on item 1, 2, 3 but totally disagreed
with the number four as it is a malicious act
targeted towards pauperizing and
marginalizing an average Nigeria student.
Negotiation however broke down at this
juncture, however there was a re-
consolidation at SUB that lasted through the
dead of the night and we will be meeting
with the dean of Students later this evening.
We would like to reinstate our undaunted
commitment to the protection and fostering
of interest of Students. we do promise to
exhaust all available means of dialogue and
consultation

Na d 2 methods UI used oo..Jamb alone and Jamb+ Olevel..
My course is dentistry and dental surgery...d jamb cutoff was 252..and i got 230...and i dnt even reach d locality or Elds sef.but i was shortlisted and admitted sef.but my comb was 73.0percent....so i can tell u UI used both methodx..u can see from d link hesjay posted above..
U guyx sudnt fear na..face ur Jamb 1st...all is well o..add me @ leget01 if u qat any prob

Pls dnt start payment yet jare...we re to pay levies + accomodation 2geda....so no rushinq..but accomod is 20k tho..
Make sure u pay bankdraft of 250-350 wen u pay ..if u no pay am na yawa..and na bundled we dey pay for(levy+accom+ges+sug).
U can pay @ any wema or mainstream..and u dnt need acct nomba..just tell dem u wanna pay ui school feex..Lobatan..
No deadline for payment..but advisable b4 or on jan7.
I just dey re read school fee stuff.i notified dis (2). Eligible first year and final year student should apply to university student lodgind Burea (USLB) for accomodation... And not UI portal...lolx....na automatic tinx jare..we dnt need to apply any rubbish...UI sef know say we no sabi any USLB..na just sakara tinx..i tink...abi who sabi USLB

UI school fees payment qat no deadline but its advisable for freshers to pay before or on resumption day(Jan 7 by God-s grace) because of d registration....so Hustling startx ...lolx

@ all, last yr college of med due was 3,700 while Bello Hall Due was 3,400, SU due was 100naira and GES was 900bucks..so apart from ur schoolfeex..u have to cari extra 10K for reg o..i don talk ma own o.
