Flash the rom again or any other recent rom and repeat the factory reset, you might need to do it more than once to flush the bug, have seen a MI Max with such bug earlier this year.

bro, I'm on the latest rom. And I have flashed it more than 5times.

i did the fastboot update on an unlocked bootloader, i don't know if it can be done on a locked one. But since moving to developer rom on mido, d ba3 backup has been great.

I've updated Through ota and did manual update too. Na that Fastboot I never do. I'm tired sef cos i lost my files after reseting the phone yesterday. I could only restore 6apps out of 30 I did

i didn't use the miu 8 at all cos I updated immediately to miui 9 after Unboxing. The battery hasn't really impressed me at all. Even my previous phone (gionee m5) lasts longer than this.

This is abnormal, that's where all your battery juice is being sacrificed, backup, do a factory reset, and update if possible.

i did the factory reset still nothing. Android system is now gulping 60% of my battery juice

I think titanium is king for this.... You have no root privileges to harvest data on a non rooted device....

I might be wrong though.......

i came across helium backup sometime ago. though it did not work on my previous device when I tried it (maybe i was doing it wrong). I'll give it a try once more

If you downloaded the apps on gionee via playstore, once you switch device, your apps would be replicated from your Google account.....

If you are like me, with unofficial downloaded apps, you would either have to hunt them again, save them to cloud or use send anywhere and save links......

About saving data, either register apps via Google + or Facebook, to retain data.........
