Imo, Xiaomi has the worst music player ever and it gets worse with every update. It supports only audios that are in mp3 format and as such if you have a wma, ogg or any other type of audio format you will have to look for an alternative music player.
Also the search option of the music player is very poor. When you type a key word in the music player it will turn up fewer songs as opposed to when you search it through the file manager.
And lest I forget, the interface is ugly and gets uglier with every update. It would have been very nice if it was possible to customise the look of the player by oneself

why not download a light player like blackplayer?

Trying to unlock bootloader is giving me a he'll of a problem, was not able to get my Note 4 connected to my Pc running on Windows 10. All means of connecting my phone to Pc proves abortive and I've been given permission to unlock bootloader. Please any help or suggestions?

had this problem b4 and this was how i solved it. Once u boot into fastboot mode, connect ur phone to pc.
Quickly open your device manager from ur pc.
Locate your Android device, right click on it and choose Update Driver Software.
Click Browse my computer for driver software.
Now click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
From the list, choose xiaomi and click Next.
After the driver has been installed, your device should be recognized.

This is just a thought... It can be quashed or elaborated upon. Why not we have xiaomites get together let's say every 6 months for Lagos only... Where we all meet for the following reasons
1. Get issues solved physically by Gptech, Grandmufti, nodullinghere, jboixxx, etc if they are based in Lagos. At least seeing them, the ecosystems of their phones, the tech they have and can share (please note the free service online supposed extend reach physical ooo)
2. Have sellers like no-obody, toluxa1, protein0, holuwaxheun, etc come with products for those who want to pick on the spot
3. Catch some funs na, you know na.

If in case this is achievable, Please note those using Redmi Max 2 should not come

get a new 64bit windows 8 or above laptop... Disable drivers verification on d laptop, enable oem unlockin on ya fone and turn on usb debugging... U are good to go but d bootloader unlockin will not b 100% successful at d 1st trial... U go still wait for futher 3** hours

Please select the MTP option from notification panel USB configuration after connecting your device to PC

If not working, Follow the following

Settings > about > MIUI version > tap on it 5-7 times

Then go to

Settings> additional settings> Developer options> USB debugging > enable it

then try after a reboot
