PhonesHow Often Do You Replace Your Phones And Why? by LilNetty(op): 10:34pm On Jun 08, 2016
Back in the dumbphone/blackberry era, I used to change phones every time my contract was up, about every 1-2 years (or that one time my phone was stolen). Now, I've kept my phone (Galaxy S2) for 3 years and just recently started to think about getting a new phone because it's started to have hardware problems.
It just isn't so important for me to upgrade every time a new phone is out. I can browse on chrome, use google maps/ navigation, and 99% of the apps with no problems aside from a bit of lag.How long do you usually stick with your phone, before buying a new one and why?

FamilyThe Pointless 1 Year Old Birthday Party by LilNetty(op): 10:29pm On May 30, 2016
Every child’s one year old party is significant for the fact that it is the child’s first birthday celebration. In Nigeria however, many parents are in the habit of making this funny and unwise decision to throw a big party for their one year old. Yes. I said unwise. All I have ever observed at one year old birthday parties are just a waste of time, energy, money and unnecessary frustration in trying to make things look perfect. I once took my daughter a couple of years back to a one year old’s birthday party. There were canopies and chairs arranged outside; a DJ was blasting music that was unfit for kids (but wetin parents wey dey there sabi? It’s just music abi?) and lots of food and drink was being served and wasted; most of which were being consumed by adults, the kids (who were way older than the celebrant) did much of the food wasting. Then they hit the dance floor for games and fooling around with the party clown/M.C. And where was the celebrant? The little guy was fast asleep in his mother’s room! When it came to cutting the cake and snapping photographs, the little fella just screamed and bawled all over the place; as far as he was concerned as a baby, his peace was being destroyed by all the loud music, cheering and fun. All he needed to do was to sleep, wake up later in the day to eat and eventually crap his diapers. The party was just plain meaningless chaos that robbed him of his baby peace. Eventually they had to postpone the cake cutting and photos. All the photos they ever took had him with an unhappy and nasty expression on his face. Meanwhile the party continued and at the end of the day I asked the question: And what has been achieved with all this waste of money? This past Sunday, I witnessed another one of these pointless one year old parties next door to where I live on almost exactly in the same fashion as the first one I just explained above. We never even saw the celebrant. Seven to ten year olds were just busy having fun and dancing as usual to music that’s inappropriate for children . To one corner, some male adults sat drinking different kinds of alcohol and engaging in beer parlour or football gist. Other adults sat flanking the kids, eating food and waiting for the party to end so that they could take their children home. And the celebrant, an innocent one year old who had no foggy idea of what the hell was going on was nowhere to be found. I presumed he was probably asleep somewhere too. (One year olds don’t joke with their sleep!). I remember when little Timi struck one, we celebrated it for her in-house with food, drinks, snacks, cake and just a few friends, and we took photos with her. Our Pastor came around and prayed for her, and we had fun playing with her till she decided to go to sleep. When A.Y struck one, we did the same and got a lot of good stuff for him to eat (because he loves to eat). Family and friends came around to see him and take pictures with him till he started protesting the need to nap. We never started doing the party thingy until Timi got into school at 2 years. At this point, we just got variety snacks, drinks, take-away goodies and cake for the party celebration in her class. Timi by now knew what was going on and understood that she was being celebrated. We were aware that we made her day and she beamed all day about it. If I had done a big noisy party at one year old for her, she probably would have been terrified and confused. This is my take on one year old birthday parties. I don’t think it’s a good idea to throw a big party for a one year old. For a 3 year old and upwards it’s okay but for the little one year old fella or lady who’s still trying to understand what the heck is going on in the world around him, it’s a sheer waste of money, energy and time.
RomanceHow E Take Concern U By Lilnetty by LilNetty(op): 12:03pm On May 24, 2016
How e take concern you? I think I have lost count of how many times I have been approached by a “concerned citizen” about my dressing. I have two words for you…. F@*k off!!!! One lady said, “you don’t have to dress like this to attract men” concern 2 And I’m thinking, “who is thinking about man? Me that I am thinking of how to build an empire, na man I go come dey worry about” Mtscheewww…. Please let me be clear on behalf of all the sexy ladies out there who are not afraid to break the rotten social boundaries we have. We do not wear miniskirts, short dresses, fitted clothes or cropped tops to try and impress your chauvinistic ass, we are doing it because we are feeling ourselves.
It ain’t about you!!!!! Today I might wake up and say “Hmm, what do I wear today that will make me feel sexy?” Or “The weather is too hot, let me find something lightweight to wear” Please refer to 2 lines above, it ain’t about you!!!! Men are allowed to have 65 side chics and we are supposed to swallow it, oya allow us to have this one na abeg… That is how one busty girl wore a low cut top and one baba started shouting at her “end time is coming” while looking very well into the boobies….. Oga who do you think you are deceiving? Just say you wanted a better look, don’t be using end time to cover up. Besides how this your concern don change the fact say garri na 4 cups for 100 NGN or tomatoes is now 6 for 700 NGN?

@op I couldn't help but go through your profile, and it actually made me mellow down on the response I would have loved to give you. Your spellings are typical of an Internet runs babe, in a hurry to answer her numerous boyfriends incessant pleas for sexual gratification .

Where did you get this balderdash. What sensors, or statistical reviews were taken to arrive at this points that seem to have been put together in a jiffy to score a point with the mods to get an article on front page.

So a person's ability to make a good wife or husband has to do with his or her profession right? jeez, how silly.

Do you know how misleading your statements are and how many can form a biased opinion on it without seeking facts.

As for anyone who believes this bull .Shit he or she should immediately call Charleyboy's number, for marital advice and what it takes to build a family.

RomanceWhy You Should Not Marry These Women: Nurses, Police Women!!! by LilNetty(op): 9:03pm On May 03, 2016
When it comes to good wives, there are careers you should not consider marrying women from. There are sho cking reasons why police women, TV news anchors, nurses, lawyers and politicians don’t make good wives.
——– POLICE WOMAN ——— A police woman carries so much power that when her husband tries to raise a hand, he is told..”Unless you want to rot in jail”. . It is very hard to tame a police woman, unless you have some authority that can neutralize her powers. . Another obvious reason what these women don’t make good wives is the fact that they are rarely at home to cook for the husband. Just when you are about to sleep, a phone call rings, demanding that she must report on duty. And when you are about to settle in a city, your wife is transferred to hardship areas. . ——-NURSES——– Nursing profession is a calling, just like NUNS. These people always attend to patients in critical conditions as well as stable conditions. The psychological torture they go through make them lose interest in bedroom matters, which is why they are cold in bed. It is also reported that Nurses, on duty, befriend doctors. So-when the husband is warming the bed alone, the nurse is warming a room in hospital alongside her “lover”, doctor. Sometimes-I have witnessed before-some nurses sleep with patients. . ——– LAWYERS——— Lawyers are powerful people in society. If you want to lose your home, property, your children and even your entire life, marry a female lawyer. If your wife is an activist, chances of leading a miserable life are very high. . One interesting thing about female lawyers is that they understand law very well; they can easily manipulate you when buying property or making any investment. . One common character about lawyers is that they are used to handling cases, so even when the husband tries to discipline her, he will be reminded that courts exist. A man will, therefore, be left living like a slave. . ——TV NEWS ANCHORS/PRESENTERS——- These are the worst people to marry.TV presenters are extremely beautiful, and since they appear on screens daily, chances of catching the eye of the high and mighty are high. You know one thing with women, they can’t resist power and money.so-if a wealthy person approaches her, even if she is married, chances of her accepting the advances are almost 100 %. . The poor husband will be left dying of depression as a wealthy man elope with his wife. . You can only manage these girls if you have power and money. . ——– POLITICIANS ——– Women politicians are all over. It is very hard to find a female politician who is happily married and faithful-if she is faithful then there is something wrong with her. . These politicians are also law makers, so chances of intimidating husbands are very high
I stand to be corrected tho....

RomanceLies Nigerian Men Tell Their Women(share Ur Experience) by LilNetty(op): 10:36pm On Mar 22, 2016
Have you ever been lied to before by a man? Can you share your experience?
Dear men, why do you lie to our ladies?

As for me
1. Of course I will respect you in the morning (RUN away now as this guy will
be LONG gone come morning never to be heard from again).
2. I am athletic (well at least he has to reach for the remote a few times
during the evening- does that count?)
3. I can go for HHHOOOOUUUURRRRRSSSSS to please my woman (in reality
this Romeo is the three minute wonder). This first statement is usually
accompanied by various phrases to give the impression that they know how to
please a woman (It's okay- just keep on doing what you are doing now by
giving him directions-- LOL!!)
4.Yep its 8inchs long and 1.5inchs wide and I know how to use it.
