Lily38 please if u can explain
"Sono HSG is a simple, well-tolerated ultrasound procedure used to evaluate the patency of the fallopian tubes, as well as detect abnormalities of the uterus. The procedure usually takes between 10 and 30 minutes to complete and the results are available immediately.
This ultrasound procedure requires the use of saline and air to see if the fallopian tubes are open because a fallopian tube cannot be seen with regular ultrasound and saline alone. The FemVue device is used to instill a consistent alternating pattern of saline and AIR in a continuous stream. This helps your doctor visualize your fallopian tubes and evaluate whether or not they are patent (open).
Sono HSG, which only uses saline, air and ultrasound is a safe and reliable alternative to the conventional hysterosalpingogram (HSG) which uses x-rays and x-ray contrast dye."

Thanks ma. She has done countless HVS. I have some of her test results with me and even after all the drugs taken, the result is Fluid in PoD indicative of PID and healthy growth of staph. I want to get her clean point tampon and the Chinese teas and some fertility vitamins. Can anybody please let me know how these work/are to be taken?
Don't know if this may help. I had uterine abscess after surgery, discharge was coming out like heavy period, I tried everything the doctors gave me but nothing worked. HVS showed no infection. I used the chinese teas yimucao n xixiancao for abt 3 days n i never had that discharge till date, it's over 6 months now. u may want to look into d teas

[quote author=happymummy post=65094860]My bara experience

I went for hsg last month the result was not good (tubal spasm)
I made my enquires I was adviced to do the castor oil massage which I was doing because I couldnt afford the serrapaptase
Then my search continued
I now read of bara
I decides to give it a trial too

I bought 1 bottle of schinapp and a middle size bara
I peeled the bara and removed the seed
Cut into a bigger rubber and added the schinapp

Congratulations mama, next is ur BFP

Was dat their conclusion statement.if there was no spillage, then it may be partially block.just try n work with ur gynea he will know d best 4 u.cheers.
Yes that was the final conclusion, I'm worried if i still have fallopian tubes because i had an emergency surgery n the doctors threaten to remove them, so I don't know if they're telling me the truth or not. Maybe will go for another HSG. Thanks a lot
HealthRe: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by Lily38: 10:47pm On Feb 15, 2018
LuckyG1:
It could have actually mean:

1) the dye not limiting the whole extent of the tube(sonographic). Thus, may not really be an occlusion.

2) a tubal occlusion(pathologic)

3)an obliteration of the abdominal extent of the tube(rarely abnormal).

Do go for another HSG to have a better sample of your tube(s).

Thanks a lot! I'll definitely go for a repeat HSG

Good morning mothers
How we dey?
Egbami genuinely for those who had had a myomectomy did your heavy period stop immediately after the operation?

Secondly is the combination of vitamin e and pregnacare OK?
It took 3 months after myomectomy for my heavy flow to reduce.

Faheemaz:
Hello GTC mamas, how are we all holding up? May God surprise us all with BFPs real soon. Pls I have a mind boggling question.

I had a pelvic scan yesterday, the result reads normal gravid retroverted uterus and mild fluid in the cul-de-sac... Findings shows PID and I am also scheduled for HSG on Monday, my question now is can I go ahead with the HSG test following the scan result thats shows PID or should the cause of PID treated first so that it doesn't mess with the HSG test result. Finally, anyone that has treated PID, what kind of antibiotics would you recommended. Though I wouldn't mind if there's any antibiotics that can be used btw now and Monday, so that there won't be a need to reschedule, I want to be done with all test latest this month end and start treatment proper.

Thanks for your anticipated response wink

Pls all mamas don't jump am pass or else I will attack your mentions...
Most doctors don't recommend HSG while there's an infection .
