Webmasters / Re: Writing A Website Proposal by limitbreka: 3:27pm On Dec 01, 2012 |
Here are seven tips to help you improve your proposals. 1. Do Your Research Perhaps one of the most important things you can demonstrate in your proposal is that you know the client and you understand what they want. This is the first step in appealing to the client’s individual needs. Research the company and thoroughly review their RFP (request for proposal), then be specific about the problem they need to solve. A detailed reiteration of their needs sets the stage for your explanation of how you can meet their needs better than anyone else. 2. Be Specific about Your Capabilities An effective way to present your capabilities is to refer back to the client’s needs, which you identified previously in your proposal, and state your experience for each item. The more specific you are about how you can solve the client’s problem, the fewer assumptions the client will need to make and the more secure they will feel in their decision to hire you. 3. Provide Examples and/or References Give your potential client visual examples of past relevant work if possible, referencing one of their stated needs for every example. They want to see what you can do, but most importantly, the client wants to see what you can do for them. It can also speak volumes if you offer references before being asked. 4. Make an Offer They Can’t Refuse Provide cost and deliverable information that’s as complete as possible, based on the information you have. Propose a detailed timeline for the work. If you typically quote per project, outline everything that’s included in the estimate, even if it seems insignificant. And set a time limit for the proposal. This will encourage the client to act, or at least express interest by asking for an extension, which you can decide whether or not to grant. 5. Proofread It may seem like a no-brainer, but proofread your proposal before submitting it. There is nothing worse than giving the client a proposal with typos or grammatical errors. Have someone else proof it for you to make sure it’s error-free, consistently formatted and looks professional. You want the client to know you put time into preparing the proposal for them. 6. Be Accessible Make sure you provide your contact information and invite questions. You may even want to propose a phone meeting to discuss their questions or concerns after their initial review. 7. Outline Next Steps Include a strong conclusion that gives the client a call to action. Reiterate expiration on the terms of the proposal; invite them to contact you any time; and tell them what you need in order to get started (i.e., a signed contract and a deposit). The most important element of any proposal is showing the potential client you understand their needs and then convincing them that you’re the best choice for the job. Keep that in mind and you’re on your way to proposal writing success. If you need already written for schools, hotels, churches, businesses then hit me a call on 08037580448. There's something in this info marketing biz a lot of people joke about. LIST!!! If you don't have a list, you are not in business. Personally I'd always think I'l create my product and start advertising here and der until I was hit by a statement from a young lady I respect so much based in US. "IF YOU DONT HAVE A LIST, YOU DONT HAVE A BUSINESS AS AN ONLINE INFORMATION MARKETER" I woke up! Since then, no one can see my sales page without subscribing to my list through my squeeze page. I can currently boast of 30,000+ Subscribers but my target in 100,000. My humble tip is, Build a List, Built Trust and Stay in Business. |

solomonkane: Cross Rivers is obviously a state governed by clowns. Weren't they the ones who were crying over the loss of oil wells to Akwa Ibom state? Last year, Rick Ross collected their money and didn't show, hope they've gotten a refund? All they know is to shake nyash, work; who sai!!which state is governed by clowns? Ure so dumb cos the calabar carnival got sponsors. Last year I was part of the first bank band nd didn't pay a dime. I guess ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ wouldn't spit out trash if ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ know how much income cross river generate from the carnival. Always use your brain if u've got any before saying trash. 1 Like |

Some videos ® just for ideas and information but an empowerment video will not only teach, but will give ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ the tools to get started in what ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ have learnt from start to finish. A webdesign video should be an empowerment video in d sense that if ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ teach me how to design a website, I believe the tutorial will be based on some expensive software and wateva. The Video should only teach, but also include the raw copy of the software to get me started immediately. Am saying dis because, I once bought a webdesign video Dvd back in 2009, the tutorial was a nice one but I discover that the programs to get me started was not included. I called the author and he told me he can give me each software for N5000, dat I should tell him the one I needed. I needed all na, and that was a whopping N20,000 extra before I could even start practising wat I learnt. I don tire to type. ℓ☺ℓ |

If ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ have knowledge about webdesign, I'l advise u create urself a corporate website tailored specifically to empowerment videos. Ur site should proof ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ are a professional in d field. |

@Steadbuck u ® ryt but I also know of people that ® in poverty because the want to be spoon fed. Who ® the originators of this information, is it not people like them? They have to wake from dat mentality, stand up and think out of the box. U must not rely on information to make it in life. What if the information come at age 53 or never comes at all. Create the information that will mek ƔU̶̲̥̅̊ and others also rich. @Poster, carry on, this is one of the information people Steadbuck is talking about. |

I guess ur question should include the ICT area of ur expertise. I'm saying this because it teks a professional to be professional. Ruling that out, I'd suggest CMS Video Microsoft Office Cisco or wateva it is called. Create a brand for urself first then marketing won't be a problem. |
