I apologize for being part of those derailing the purpose of this thread.

My brother, beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance. Let's assume you are not well informed of the principles of aqeedah when you're in مدرسة and I'm not in any way trying to demote your knowledge or underrated you, consequently most مراكز in our yoruba land don't give توحيد much consideration for student. Shirk is basically believing or attesting to the fact that anyone/anything can cause harm directly or indirectly except what Allah has decreed. I hope you do more research about tawheed and I seek Allah's guidance for you and I. Salaam

To derail a little bit.

Salam salam, bruv at the bolded, for the fact that We don't know what Allah has decreed, then we can't say for sure some people's knowledge about a particular spiritual topic is false or its not part of their destiny

I am a muslim, but I don't argue with people about these traditional things because backgrounds are different and our level of exposure to some things are also different....
Am sorry to say this, but if you meet the true/pure traditionalists.. bruv, juju dey where e dey... I can swear on it.. Have seen some things being done in my presence..

My philosophy is those things are there and they work but am not gonna depend or partake in them.. make them dey their lane, make I dey my lane..

Make we die the matter, abeg

Islam for Muslims / Re: Why You Must Avoid Memorising Qur'an Without Tajweed by limpopo: 3:28pm On Jun 25

How long does it take to learn arabic

I would have tried to read the Koran but why is it only Islam we find extremism in this century. I hardly see other religions commiting mass murder.

Religion and character/attitude are two different things, but one can only influence the other.. Why are the muslims in the south not killing like them..

And you think the ones commiting mass murder are doing it all on the name of religion because they are speaking Arabic.. Religious fights are more sellable in the mainstream media...

Are the bandits/boko haram/fulani herders killing in the North only targeting Christians.... NO.. they kill at will. Most of their victims are muslims.

Let's be guided... Take a step back, pick up their so called "holy book" and read from the source yourself, then you make/form your opinion.

Lastly, most of those arab countries you see fighting, the fights are mostly not causes by religion.. go online and research for your self.... Iran, afghanistan, Palestine, Libya, Sudan, turkey.. just to mention a few.. but you see the media ehn..
Islam for Muslims / Re: Why You Must Avoid Memorising Qur'an Without Tajweed by limpopo: 12:04pm On Jun 25
What is the ruling on saying Allah abkar before you blow up a place or behead christains

The major problem with people is they believe anything arabic is islamic... Arabic is just a normal language, like hebrew, greek and co. not a religious language.. and Allah Akbar means God is greater.. speaking arabic doesn't make you a good muslim... You learn the language as a muslim so as to be able to read and understand the holy book, Quran... The onus lies on you with the interpretation...

Don't judge a book by its cover.... Pick an English version of the quran and read for yourself or better still Arabic is not an alien language.. learn it and read the undiluted/unadulterated Quran..

other religion worshippers also have their vices/flaws..

Extremism and fanaticism are deadly

Has anyone else tried this? You can animate your old photos and make them move using MyHeritage's "Deep Nostalgia" Tool.

There have been mixed reviews on it, but so far here are the ones I like.

I finally solved the screen freezing and malfunctioning on Umidigi A5 pro.

I initially took it to a repairer on Monday, I told him " I want to remove the front glass and glue it back". He said if he opens the phone, he might break something that I should keep managing it like that, I should order for the screen and give him to fix a new one. I left there because my screen is still good as new. Not yet broken.

Last night, I used a razor blade, the blunt edge to pull the screen a little bit up starting from the bottom at those lining to the top. I couldn't pull it so much up because it is attached to the panel at the back. I was careful when I got to the top left side, cox that's where the screen flex is, if it's cut the screen will go blank.

After slightly pulling all sides up, I noticed there was no freezing or malfunctioning whatsoever. I thought of to keep using it like that but it was a little ugly at the bottom, the screen lights were shinning out.

The next day, I took it to a repairer, I told him I wanted to use his phone glue. I pulled each side up using the blunt edge of the razor while he was applying the gum. I did it around all sides. He used a rubber band to tighten the screen, left it for 15min and cleaned the glue off using a chemical. I gave him #200.
I got home and cleaned it properly using à detergent and sponge. The screen looked new, Lol.

Now no more freezing or touch malfunctioning.

If you still love your phone, you don't wanna sell it because of how good it is and you're up for it, then you can try it out.

By the way, I'm on Android 11 with January security patch cheesy

Why do you want the batteryto drain to 10% before charging?

I don't like multiple charging of phone in a day... I like to charge once or twice in a day, hence, I let the battery drain well before I charge..

The sculptor’s journey as an artist began when he was still a child. He recognised that he had a creative talent, which led him to pursue a career in the arts by studying at the Auchi School of Art and Design in Nigeria.

Speaking about what inspires his work, he says: “Life! Everything around me. The people around me. The wonder of life and its hidden mysteries are all inspirations."

He says that that his subjects are mostly birds because they symbolise the expression of my ideas, "I see birds as a symbol of freedom and self-expression”.

The Lagos-based artist says his biggest struggle is funding and access to studio space.
