They've been several fights on this forum because of this issue. I'v been following this thread since the first one and this is quite a delicate matter. What Newmum is saying basically is Newbies please READ,READ,READ especially page 0. I personally feel it's wrong to just jump into a thread and click on page 200 and start asking questions. Atleast read page 0 na then 1,2 and maybe page three. It makes it easier for all of us and also slows down the way the thread keeps running else by the end of this year we would have had up to thread 20 with basically repitition of same questions and answers. You feel me? Just my 2 cents though. Cheers. Julie2018: I can’t say this is a fair statement at all.
I’ve been in several forums, but this is the first time I am seeing people judge others for reasons best known to them.
Tbh, I think I everyone deserves help here.
Even if they ask you to spoon feed them, if you don’t want to do it then dont. Plus speaking about “new members” here like they are little children is quite derogatory tbh.
The kindness you show to someone will be appreciated and even if it’s not. God sees our hearts.
I understand your point of view. But we need to be fair with everyone here. Thank you. |

Top right below the heading Passport No. Newbeecey: Please pardon my seeming naivety, i just want to avoid stories that touch. When paying for IELTS, the last two digits that are referred to by "the last two digits of your international passport" ; Are they the last two digits of the intl passport number on the top right of the passport date page or the last two digits that are shown on the bottom right of the data page. |

Could you still pay with that access bank naira mastercard? The card fail me die for CAD$2230, I'm having to now use a domicilliary account. Newmum0615: GTB will work, it's below USD1000. In fact any bank that allows international transactions on their cards will work. You need to confirm the limit for your own bank. |

I was going to post on this soon anyways. Yes just contact Moshood. I was able to get my PCC without travelling to Lagos. The forms were scanned to me but note you'd have to add something extra which wasn't a problem to me considering the risk and wahala of travelling all the way. Favoredme: I read on either this thread or the previous one where someone got the forms online. It was no hassle getting the originals for me so I took that route.
You may call Inspector Moshood to confirm though he wasn't the one who processed mine. |

Just go back to his profile and take off the educational qualification there. Didn't include any for wify and no placeholder was given. You can then update his qualification under personal history. Newmum0615: My people, if I indicated that there was no ECA done for hubby's degrees, biko why am I getting a placeholder to upload the degrees? I did not claim points for it. Can I go back and remove details of his education from his profile or provide an LOE why I can't provide it (MBA cert has not been collected from Unilag)? Hope there won't be an issue? |

Kindly clarify is it 12 weeks from when your transcript was delivered or from when they acknowledged receipt. dumsydsassy1: Send them a mail telling them it’s been 4weeks since the courier delivered. They’ll acknowledge immediately. Mine took 5weeks, had to send them a mail. Then 4weeks later I sent another mail asking about the status of my assessment and they responded 24hrs later saying it’s in it’s final stage. I got the soft copy some days later and the hard copy a week later. Two days back to be precise. Total time-12 weeks. So if you are are uncomfortable, disturb them. |

Yes you can use that as long as it convers the specified amount and is available to you. victor83: Good morning great people... I've learnt a lot from this forum with regards to Canada EE.. right now I'm at the point of submitting my documents for ITA. for the POF I have usd 19,000.00 ( i has to convert almost all my funds when USD was climbing up during the exchange rate volatility). Can I use the fixed deposit letter for my USD as the POF.. converting it to Canadian dollars is about $24,000.00 which is higher than the requirements for 4 people. Kindly advice |

This makes a lot of sense especially for we that work for some employers that may include your name in the next sack list after they grudgingly give you the reference letter. Hamiltondreamer: If you asked for a letter from your office and the office has refused,do not go through the back door by cutting coners. 1. Write a letter on a plain sheet in the required format. 2. Get it notarised 3. Write a letter of explanation staying in that your office refused to give the letter and if there is proof through email correspondence include it. 4. Proof of employment : Employment letter ,ID card, payslips bank statement.
5.(Rolling my eyes) for LVO a tattoo of your office logo on a conspicuous part of your body, pictures of you and your colleagues in your office aso ebi, picture of you standing in front of your office sign post and so many more LVO attachments.
6. No 5 is irrelevant |

You are correct @Kontagious after all what happens if the TBills now matures before PPR and is liquidated into your account and your intention is not to re-fix? The fund can remain in your account and if you're asked for updated POF, you simply provide your SOA. In essence once your present POF as submitted matures you can either liquidate and leave it in your account, renew the investment or adopt another form of investment. Bottom line is you still have the fund as proof. My 2 cent pls. Kontagious: I go with this line of thought.
Even if asked for updated POF, I believe you can present the Statement of Account for the period asked, then add the T-Bills certificate. Your statement of account will show the debit for the T-Bills and of course no corresponding credit to show the T-Bills has been liquidated.
If you did 91days from the start, calculate for yourself what you have lost with the money just sitting ideal – well, your bank is silently thanking you for it though. Then imagine what you will be loosing for every day your application is still under review.
Changing the POF does not matter to me so far you are presenting the POF in your name and in acceptable format. To dot all I’s and cross the T’s, you can add a one page letter why you are presenting T-Bills certificate with the SOA. I don’t think you will be penalized for that. My opinion.

People on this thread as previously mentioned have used only TBills certificate with a reference letter from the bank and got PPR. I don't intend to use my statement of account for some personal reasons and that's why I went into TBills. My understanding is only TBills cetificate and bank reference letter should suffice. Proof of where the TBills came from doesn't matter to them as far as it's in your name and is legit and also covers a reasonable tenor. Hamiltondreamer: I used Tbills and this is what I did.
I have 3tbills all from first bank . All 3 will mature 2018. The longest tenor i bought is 180days.
I also submitted my six months statement of account, reference letter and letter of non indebtedness and the Tbills certificates |

In other words if one has been denied UK Visa for say up to three times, you have to state the different times/dates and the reasons seperately? Also, does it imply that once you have been denied a UK Visa in the past your application must go to LVO? Boss13: Yes state them concisely, if you can remember the date include them. After that, worry not. |

This is more than motivating, weldone and congrats @revlane and pray to share my story too someday soon. Still battling with IELTS and ECA at the moment. revlane: My PPR story. I am not a fan of travelling so I invested in professional and academic qualifications with an MBA, MSc and chartered qualification, I couldn't achieve my goals. So from the the days of Zandora and Dupsyshoo, I joined to read and just read updates for several months. I wrote IELTS with contribution money and requested for remark when my writing was scored 6.5 and later it was upgraded to 7.5 My WES was smooth with help from a friend who paid part of it. I started this journey as a trial and ran to Australia nairaland because of POF. I came back when the process wasn't favourable. It became more real with ITA on March 1 but the worse happened. I lost all the money I raised for POF to Ponzi Schemes between February and April. From GHW to MMM, all my life savings was gone. And to make maters worse, I lost my job too. Life became meaningless and I was in debt so I relocated back to stay with my parents and they have been feeding me. From giving people money, I could no longer afford recharge card and I scampered around for POF. I submitted my application 6days to deadline. I was stuck later because my POF showed review required in my GCMS. Its was written in capital letters that THE PA HAS FALLEN BELOW REQUIRED POF OF 12,300. And my case was left to pure discretion of the Visa officer and the hand of God. Today its PPR because I never gave up, I knew my downfall wasn't the end of my life and that someday I will smile again. Nothing can stop you except you chose to stop. |

I'm using my statement of result with IQAS and they've acknowledged my documents and didn't ask for my certificate. They are yet to acknowledge receipt of my transcipt though. MysteryBud: Hi, thanks for responding. Initially IQAS responded to the enquiry that they accept statement of result. However, they turned around to say that the wording on the statement of result sounds like one is yet to be awarded the degree hence the need for degree certificate.
Please I still need to reach out to someone using (or used) IQAS that may or may not have faced similar challenge. Thanks. |

This raises questions to if rate applied at AOR are locked or fluctuates untill you've gotten PPR. The exchange rate even as close as two months ago on oanda was in the range NGN280/1CAD. For 3M it means your conversion rate was N243/1CAD to equal the minimum amount for single applicant which is CAD12,300. Probably at the time of your submission the rate you used was wrong or something else I can't explain happend. I'd let others weigh in on this. revlane: I received copy of my GCMS yesterday and on it the case analyst said in bold letters that according to the GTB exchange rate at the time of my application, I do not meet the minimum required funds for single applicant. Hence under Eligibility, it shows Review Required. I fixed 3M which at that time was about 12,700cad using Oanda which I uploaded. My question is did I miss something, or the funds I fixed should have been more than that? Is it now advisable to use bank rate? AOR May 25 MP July 5 NA2 July 5 Application at Ottawa |
