free muslims, we have right thinking ones. personally i wish all muslims were yorubas, those are muslims with a difference, muslims with knowledge, muslims who live it. those of you southerners who criticise islam, you've not even seen anything! but yoruba muslims make me believe islam is as peaceful and loving as it claims, devoid of barbarism slavery of the mind. i believe so.
Culture / Re: What Is So Wrong With Being Left Handed by Linusman(m): 5:04pm On May 21, 2010
take it or leave it, using left hand has something disrespectful and nonchalant about it. one idiot boy handed something to me with his left and i nearly killed him, useless boy. when his father inquired and i told him the boy gave me something his left hand, his father beat him until he fainted and was rushed to the herbalist, HE HE HE HE.  wink  smiley

Thank you lord almighty for your faithfulness, you've demonstrated to me always that no one who's eyes are set upon you shall ever be disappointed. Thank you for taking away my sorrow and anxiety and blessing me abundantly, thank you Jesus for being there, even for the unworthy disloyal son of yours that is me. I would put my hope in you forever!
Islam for Muslims / Re: The Eagle That Characterizes The Nigerian Coat-of-arms Is A Symbol Of Christ by Linusman(m): 8:43pm On Apr 19, 2010
Muslim friends, is it true that the Quran calls Jesus Christ the spirit of God? Please throw more light on this.

Politics / Re: Ibb- Nigeria’s Break-up Impossible. by Linusman(m): 4:47pm On Apr 18, 2010
Nobody should throw the idea that Nigeria could break up to the Dogs! With Northern Muslim clerics feeding their flock with anti-social Ideas as if there are no muslims anywhere else in this country, with the agitation of the oil-rich Niger Delta and with the awakening of middle belters to the second class treatment they've been enduring as fake northerners. Walahi, Nigerian would brake up if our leaders and religious clerics don't change their attitudes.

My only fear is that, If Nigeria should break up, the middle belt might be left with the north and that would be too bad! cry
Politics / Re: Nigeria - Borno Debates Law 'to Stop Islamic Extremism' by Linusman(m): 8:49am On Apr 16, 2010
Why are neutral topics easily turned to instruments for criticizing Islam? With all these comments, how do we want Muslims to feel or is this site for Christians only?

Religion / Re: I Wanted To Be Known With A Church, Which One Of Them? by Linusman(m): 9:03pm On Apr 15, 2010
Let suggest good churches for you;
1. Catholic Church - If you have nothing against traditional Christianity.
2. Deeper life - If you have nothing against being absolute in you Christian life.
3. Jehovah Witness - If you can accept that Jesus is just a perfect man, not God.
You are strongly adviced to pick from one of these three or else, maintain status quo.
Religion / Re: Is Homosexuality Demonic? by Linusman(m): 6:58pm On Apr 15, 2010
To speak like a Christian fundamentalist ( I mean in line with the fundamentals of Christian teachings), yes, its demonic. If God can be so enraged by its practice as to wipe out a whole town, then it can be nothing less than demonic.

Then, to speak like an objective person, I think its just unnatural.
Politics / Re: Jonathan And Muttalab Meet ! by Linusman(m): 6:12pm On Apr 15, 2010

Religion / Re: Why Do Catholics Confess Their Sins To Man by Linusman(m): 9:43pm On Apr 14, 2010
Kai, Macfonse, I feel like clapping. You are one of the Catholics the Catholic Church needs, a Catholic who knows his faith and can defend it when called upon to and not one who gets confused, unable to utter a word and afterwards proclaim to have seen the light on the his left hand side.

Christ clearly stated that his Apostles can absolve or retain sins, making confession to a man therefore is not unbiblical. Right from day one, the Church have been organised in hierarchy and confessions are heard by the priests and not by every Church member, there is no confusion in God's house.

You can also approach God directly in prayer, that also is not unbiblical. If you are not a catholic, you wouldn't know that before the celebration of the holy eucharist (Mass), the priest in the manner of a prayer point would require everyone to examine his mind for any wrong committed against God or man and ask God for forgiveness.

You may not agree with me that the Catholic Church is directly instituted by the Apostles and that her cardinal traditions are directly passed down from the Apostles but you cannot deny that every institution has traditions and even if these traditions are jettisoned along the generational line by some who may not see them in light of those that instituted them, that does not mean they are bad, you simply don't understand them and your background might not allow you to accept them as authentic, that is okay, practice what you understand and let live.
Religion / Re: Sinners In Christ Embassy, steal Millions Of Naira In Church’s Bank by Linusman(m): 8:22pm On Apr 14, 2010
Reading all these arguments is fun, i must confess. Never a dull moment here. However, I opine that pastor chris be left alone. He has a power of oratory, a strong and uncommon motivator he is, his words seem to have a life of its own and moves his audience to action. Yes but who are we to condemn him for using his gift to propagate God's words. Though these messages might be misunderstood by some members of his congregation but the truth remains that he didn't tell anybody to steal in order to become rich. Though I have some sincere observations; I tend to recognize a CE member immedietly he begins to talks about matters relating to the Bible, like preaching, because his voice would sound like pastors chris' own, sincerely speaking. And again when I see a pastor with his hair jerry-coiled, I often guess he is a CE pastor and I tell you, so far, I've never guessed wrong.
Religion / Re: Who Is Your Spiritual Mother? by Linusman(m): 4:47pm On Apr 14, 2010
Face your religion, understand it well and become a good Muslim and stop pocking your nose into another man's own. Just like you feel you can ridicule another man's religion, yours can be ridiculed too. Remember, religion is subjective and not objective, its NOT science that says where there is a father, there must be a mother (sperm and ova). MIND YOUR RELIGION! angry
Religion / Re: Watz The Difference Btw God And Allah by Linusman(m): 1:17pm On Apr 14, 2010
Religion has never been known to be objective, not even two people who profess faith in the same religion can have exactly the same understanding of it. While one idiot might think catholicism is another form of polytheism, another might think otherwise. In all, your religion concerns you and you alone, nothing more.
Politics / Re: Abdulmutallab Returns To Court ! by Linusman(m): 10:13pm On Apr 13, 2010
Clerics should be sincere and Godly in their sermons. Mutallab is a victim of wrong information, motivation and direction. Please look beyond the man to the corrupters of his mind, then your angers would have been more appropriately directed.
Politics / Re: Critics Call For The Pope To Be Arrested by Linusman(m): 10:43pm On Apr 12, 2010
Please read this; ''To begin with, the Church has been under siege for centuries, in fact since its beginning, with attacks climaxing in the past one hundred years, since the Masonic cults and the Communists recruited agents who trained in seminaries with the agenda of infiltrating the priesthood and causing havoc from within. Some of these agents have risen to the top and have become Cardinals and Bishops. One documented testimony of these devil’s workers is contained in a book, AA1032, MEMOIRS OF AN ANTI-APOSTLE.

After an automobile accident in Paris, in the 1960s, a Polish priest who lived in the Vatican gave a dossier to a nurse in the hospital before he died, which turned out to be a confession of how he was recruited by the Communist Party in Russia to enter the seminary with a brief on how to subvert the Catholic faith. With his being 1032, it means there were probably thousands. Other accounts have been documented and include voluntary confessions (non sacramental) made to the late Pope John Paul II by dying Cardinals who exposed their own evil. Although priests, being human, are vulnerable to sin and error, a large proportion of sexual immoralities within the clergy and among the religious (monks and nuns) stems from satanic agents. These include homosexuals, lesbians, pedophiles and fornicators and adulterers. The agenda of Christ’s number 1 enemy (the devil) is to have these infiltrators commit atrocities and have their misdeeds revealed in order to cause banner headlines'' Remember, the devil is not relenting. Worse things might heard about the Church.
Religion / Re: My Boyfriend Is An Atheist. I Love Him But My Family And Friends Hate Him. Help by Linusman(m): 11:49pm On Apr 11, 2010
What I feel for you is sincere pity, you are in a very serious dilemma. If you were younger I would have concluded that you are just infatuated and that with time you would realize things but obviously, you know better. Since you profess to be a born again Christian, I would advice that you pray and fast fervently for God to direct your decision. When you are convinced that you have an answer, go ahead with it irrespective of what anybody might feel about it, if God is with you, no one can be against you.

Romance / Re: Is It Wise To Marry Your First Boyfriend? by Linusman(m): 10:17pm On Apr 11, 2010
If there is nothing wrong with your first boy friend and you feel you shouldn't marry him just because he is your first, then you don't deserve him. On the other hand, if he is unrepentantly bad and you feel you have to marry him because he is your first love, then you deserve whatever you get from him. All I'm saying is use your discretion, goodluck. cool
