At last, this guy is charged. Whether or not his prosecution will land him in jail is a different matter. I understand he tried to bribe EFCC. Well, May be this is true or not we will wait to see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7142460.stm |
One thing that I do not understand is when people talk about injustice to the people of Niger Delta. Alams who is one of their leaders stole money meant for their development, came to UK and other places, bought houses, put his children in the best school, went overseas for medical treatment etc. Yet none of these so called Niger delta terrorist said anything about him. There is no doubt that these terrorists are being sponsored by the Alams and co. The money found on Alam alone is enough to pay the salaries of the workers for 3 months. Why have they not kidnap his wife and children? Has enough ever converted the total money found on Alam together with the value of the houses he bought with the people's money. I beg who is deceiving who. These terrorists are talking about OBJ and others, what happens to their own people exploiting them to the bone. The terrorists should be dealt with with despatch. let the Army go in and deal with them and their families and sponsors. Unless this happens, there these terrorists will continue their atrocities. |
I do not agree that all muslim are animals either they be Hausas in nigeria or else where. But one view I hold is that those murderers who are killing innocent xtians in the northern part of nigeria are nothing but ANIMALS to the core. I am a xtian and before I left Nigeria I lived in Kano for over 7 years. The Hausa Muslims are wonderful and and good friends. It is true that they are fanatica about their religion, but the real people causing these problem are not committed muslims. They are the foolish and ignorant ones. It does not matter if they attend a school or university. Hausa are lovely people. While I was there, an Hausa and a muslim was my best friend. The problem with the hausa muslim is that some of them do not know their left from their right. All some of them do is follow instruction of one man sitting in a mosque. Sometimes they are not intelligent enough to use their sense. One do not need to go to school to know that the said cartoon did not emanate from a Nigerian xtian. What sense for God's sake does it make to be killing people for doing nothing simply because they live in the north in the midst of muslim majority? To me it is nothing more than foolishness and madness. Even Animals would not behave like some of these people, The question we need to ask is this, how many times has xtian rise up to start killing muslims because of what angered the xtians? Islam is a religion borne out of violence and not peace. Any where they are at work, whereever, they also forment trouble and violence. One day, the xtians will start kiiling them as well and pay them back accordingly and may be then they will know that xtians are only peaceful because we are obeying the Bible. They claim to have respect for Mohammed and Koran, but do they obey the said Koran? If they do then they will not result to kiiling people innocently. Linuxuser |
Seun, Thanks for your response. I honestly do not know the business to put this on. I have a small hosting company based in Europe and also do IT consultancy with application development. I went to Nigeria last week and saw for myself the level of things there. I simply want to put this money in a venture that will though earn me money but also I want some other people to have a job. LoverBwoy I am not sure am good enough for this. I do not want to consider any area I do not have any idea at all. |
I will go with babagana. Ribadu to be assisted by El-Rufai. All others are thieves and nothing different. I beg do not mention Babangida. His other name is corruption designate. He should be made to spend all his stolen monies until he will be forced to sell his houses and cars and beg on the street of Minna for bread that is what he deserve. |
I am looking for an opinion of what sort of business I can start with 250,000.00 Naira. I am aware that this is a small investment figure hence am not expecting to be rich overnight. I can wait for between 3 to 6 months if need be to see any returns. A friend suggests going for Cassava processing machineries although the figure of N370,000.00 was put to buying 3 machines, land, generator. I have the money but I want to see if there are other areas I can consider. Like I said above, am not in haste but at the same time, I will want a situation where my investment is secure and promising. What am really interested in is something that can help others as well i.e. to provide employment. Thanks for your ideas. Linuxuser |
