Embattled Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, rose swiftly this morning to dismiss as untrue claim by some lawyers that he bought a house in Dubai and another in a high brow area of Abuja for a whopping sum of N699 milllion.

Speaking with our reporters this morning on the allegations published in two national dailies, Ribadu said the allegations were manufactured and a product of the imagination of their authors.

“It is part of the trash that has been spewed by those affected by our actions and their agents. It is not the first time they are saying these things. They can even claim I own Lagos and Abuja,’’ he said.

Two lawyers based in Abuja, Messrs. Ogboli Charles and Ugochukwu Ogbuagwu, had deposed to an affidavit in an Abuja Federal High Court alleging that Ribadu bought a villa at Palm Beach Estate , Dubai, UAE worth $3,948,479.00 and a N200 million property at Mambilla Street, Maitama District, Abuja.

The two lawyers are asking the court to compel Ribadu to explain how he realized the money which he allegedly used to buy the property.

Rising in Ribadu’s defence, his friend and former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir El Rufai, said it is not true that Ribadu bought the said house in Abuja. The house which sold for N50 million was sold to Ribadu’s father in-law, Professor Iya Abubakar, and not for N200 million as claimed by the litigants but for N50 million.

Mallam Ribadu threw a challenge at his accusers, asking them to report him to the police or take him before the ICPC for prosecution.

“The IG is there, the ICPC is there, if the two bodies find anything against me, they are free to prosecute me,’’ he said.

“What will I do with a house in Dubai?’’ Ribadu asked. “They are doing this out of desperation. It is the same people who offered me $15 million and I declined that are behind this. They certainly will fail,” he said.

Since the emergence of Alhaji Umaru Yar’Adua as president, many attempts have been made to smear Ribadu by the corrupt people he has been pursuing. Initially, they said that he had no law degree and didn’t attend law school. When that did not hold, they used a Nigerian businessman, Terry Waya, recently convicted in London for money laundering, to write a petition to Yar’Adua alleging corrupt practices against him. When that failed, they alleged that he collected money from the former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Attah, using a front.

When that was investigated by the presidency and found to be false, another convict, Emma Nwude, whose property was seized in a $240 million fraud involving a Brazillian bank, was conscripted to allege that Ribadu sold his property to his friends at cheap rate.

The EFCC denied having a hand in the sale of the property while the company appointed by the court to carry out the sales came out publicly to own up to selling the properties.

Here we go again. Ngige confirmed that he visited EFCC to answer questions. Why did IBB refuse to attend to the Oputa Panel to answer their enquiries. The answer is simple - IBB emblezzled and looted the treasury of Nigeria. That is the truth.

For your info, I did not see any where from Ngige's statement blaming Ribadu or accusing him - " “I don’t think that they are totally to be blamed.". Well may be we leave that to another time when you can show us another piece to that effect.

Though Ribadu may not be the best living soul, but evidences abound that he served Nigeria with integrity and commitment. This can not be said about about IBB, Atiku, Umar, IBORI and the rest of them that looted our treasuries with "perfection".

What I said I met senior Police Office that attests to the integrity of Ribadu, I did not make a mistake. Its not hearsay. Its one to one discussion. When Ribadu challenged the whole world, why did we not see anybody come forward?. Can IBB, Atiku, Umar, IBORI and the rest of the crooks do the same by challenging anyone from any where to come forward if and if they ever twisted their arms - overtly or covertly?

Former governor of old Kaduna state, Alhaji Balarabe Musa declared, Thursday, that with the removal of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), the anti-corruption campaign in Nigeria has come to an end.

But the Archbishop of the Kaduna Diocese of the Church of Nigeria, (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Idowu Fearon, maintained that Nigerians should stop making noise on the Ribadu issue, stressing that no individual is indispensable.

Both Musa and Fearon spoke in separate interviews with Saturday Champion in Kaduna.

Musa, who noted that the corrupt forces were behind the deployment of Ribadu, insists that the main intention was to kill the war against corruption.

According to him, corrupt people have become so powerful and influential in Nigeria that any attempt to fight them is always crushed by them.

"From all indication, with the deployment of Nuhu Ribadu, the anti-corruption campaign in Nigeria has ended. It may restart, but it has ended and I am backed by historical events in Nigeria.

"Remember Gen. Murtala Mohammed mounted a very humane anti-corruption campaign but because the ruling oligarchy could not tolerate being brought to book, he was killed and that ended the anti-corruption campaign. He was the first victim of forces of corruption in Nigeria.

"The second one was the over-throw of the Gen. Buhari regime for organizing and implementing a more thorough anti-corruption campaign. We all know about it, particularly the fact that all those who held public offices during a period were arrested, investigated and in many cases, were jailed.

"Buhari was over-thrown and the anti-corruption campaign faded away and those who were found guilty and were even imprisoned, were pardoned and they continued with their corruption. Some of them even became governors and ministers and gatekeepers in Nigerian politics. That ended the second, patriotic anti- corruption campaign.

"We are now seeing the end of the third anti-corruption campaign. This deployment of Ribadu, in spite of everything, the objective is to kill the anti-corruption campaign and I am warning Nigerians to realize that more than during the time of Murtala and Buhari, more rich and powerful people are now involved and they are so desperate that they don’t even mind to cause the disintegration of this country so that they can get away with what they have done," the former governor stated.

He argued that if there is honesty in the deployment of Ribadu, the presidency should have replaced him with someone because, according to him, the law clearly spelt out how the chairman of the commission should be removed, and empowers the president to appoint a new chairman, pointing out that none of the reasons given for removing Ribadu agree with the law.

"So, if there was honesty, this statement should have come from the president and not from the Inspector General of Police, who is also under the president. The fact that it didn’t come from the president and up till now, the president has not said anything, means there is an anti-public issue in this matter.

He admitted that Ribadu may not be the only Nigerian capable of fighting corruption, pointing out however, that the law has to be complied with.

"There are times when the institution itself relies on the credibility and effectiveness of the individual… when you have a situation like this, you have to be very careful. Everybody knows that it is not easy to lead an anti-corruption campaign in Nigeria", Musa argued further.

He therefore called on Nigerians to force the government not to concretize Ribadu’s redeployment "till we are convinced that it has been done in the public interest."

In his comments on the issue however, Most Rev. Fearon said the problem with Nigerians is that they are always suspicious of actions a government in power decides to take.

"As far as I am concern, as an ordinary Nigerian, I don’t see why people should make noise about this, Ribadu has been very effective, no doubt about that, and of course you know when you have someone who stands for principles, there are those who will read meanings into whatever happens to him or whatever he does.

"People should be objective and analytical about this. Ribadu is a controversial person, even when he sneezes, people will read meaning into it.

"Personally, I see him as one of the very effective leaders in this country. His time is up and I don’t subscribe to any politics being brought into it.

"To say somebody is irreplaceable is not correct. It is not Christian, it is not Islamic. The Prophet of Islam said "all people are equal as the teeth of the comb," so nobody is indispensable. Did we know he was there? He came into office and he performed, no doubt about that. So when people begin to feel that an individual is indispensable, it is not religious and we are religious people. Nobody is indispensable, we are all equal. It is just opportunities. If some other persons have such opportunity, they may even do better," the clergy man stated.

How many of us would have done a better job than Ribadu under the circusmtances Ribadu was working?. Please let you answer(s) be guided by your "respect for the TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. Remember conscience? In Ribadu's imperfection, he did not embezzle and Loot our Treasury like IBB, Atiku, IBORI and the rest of them. That makes Ribadu stand out.

In your present place of work/society, can anyone around you vouch for your integrity? If you have the opportunity to cleverly defraud Nigeria or your neighbour, would you fall to the temptation/evil. Would you fall for anything as long as it enriches you even fraudulently. Contrary to media reports (not THISDAY) that the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commis-sion, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has been barred from entering the presidential villa, the head of the anti-corruption agency was yesterday in Aso Rock for an undisclosed meeting with President Umaru Yar’Adua and other officials at the villa.
There were speculations this week that the EFCC chairman had been stopped from visiting the villa or having direct access to the president in the last few days as a result of the fallout from his nomination to proceed on study leave at the National Institute for policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru.
But Ribadu who arrived the villa at about 12.13 p.m. yesterday adorned in white babanriga with a cap to match and clutching a file in his hand, looked his normal self as he walked down the long corridor to the president’s office.
Although he refused to comment on his mission before he went into the president’s office, Ribadu, beaming with smiles took time shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries with the members of the State House press corps.
His meeting with President Yar’Adua was held behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour with Vice President Goodluck Jonathan, the Chief of Staff to the President, Major-Gen. Abd-ullahi Mohammed and some top government functionaries in attendance.
When he emerged from the meeting, he refused to field questions from State House correspondents, saying the outcome of the meeting was not what he would want to talk about.
Ribadu declined to comment on whether he was comfortable with the raging controversy over the decision to send him on a course.
On whether he thought the entire thing would die down following the latest meeting with Yar’Adua, he replied: “Insha Allah.”
In a related development, the meeting between the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro and the 395 police officers seconded to EFCC has now been rescheduled for Monday, January 7.
The meeting earlier scheduled for Thursday could not hold because of the failure of the officers, including Assistant Commissioner of Police and EFCC’s Director of Operations, Ibrahim Lamorde, to turn up at the force headquarters in Abuja.
Okiro and his management team comprising mainly Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIG’s) who had assembled for the meeting were forced to rise when it dawned on them that none of the policemen were coming for the meeting.
The development led to an emergency meeting of top police hierarchy in the IG’s office during which many of the senior police officers were reported to have recommended sanctions against the recalcitrant officers.
But Okiro was said to have rejected the recommendation. The source said Okiro subsequently directed that the officers be communicated to in writing and shifted the meeting to Monday, January 7.
“Officers seconded to the EFCC have now been formally invited to attend the same meeting now shifted to Monday January 7. The initial invitation was done verbally,” the source said.
Ever since, the IG announced Ribadu’s nomination to proceed on the nine months course at NIPSS, the issue has drawn widespread criticism and even been politicised for what should have been seen as a routine posting.
In a bid to douse further speculations on the issue, EFCC through its spokesman, Osita Nwaja, Thursday issued a statement dismissing claims that a conflict had arisen between the president and its chairman over the NIPSS course.
The commission maintained that the government can send any public officer on training to enhance his or her performance and continued service to the nation.
EFCC expressed regrets that the nomination for Ribadu to proceed on the course had resulted in blackmail and calumny by many of those who disagree with the commission.
This group, EFCC alleged, has routinely planted stories in the media and created the impression that they are sponsored by the agency’s chairman, in an attempt to discredit the authorities, especially the president.
EFCC absolved the president from interfering with its work and investigations, stating he has always supported the commission’s resolve to bring to book, all those who have committed any of the crimes identified under the EFCC Establishment Act 2004.
It insisted Ribadu has no problem with the decision of the president on the recommendation of the IG to post him to NIPSS. “Any story that suggests otherwise is only meant to cast him in a bad light of unnecessary antagonism against the government and the police high command, and should be discontinued,” EFCC cautioned.

I said it before and will say it again, I have been priviledge to meet serving senior Police officers who worked with Ribadu and they attest to the fact that He RIBADU never took a bribe and they vouched for his integrity. Ribadu himself challenged all of us including the so-called person you met personally that if anyone have a case against him, let them come forward. This your guy did not come forward - perhaps he fell into trance and only woke up today. Its like when people are going to marry and the priest said if anyone knows the reason why this two cannot be joined together, let him/her say it now or keep kept quite forever. because this your guy could not come forward at the time Ribadu challenged the whole world, let that guy keep quite in shame for ever. Ribadu stands for Integrity, truth and commitment to our father land. This can not be said of IBB or Umar. Period!!!.

Please list what Umar achieved in kaduna State? How much did he meet at the treasury? How much was left? How many roads did he inherit? How many did be build? How many hospitals did he inherit? How many did he leave behind? How many teachers did he inherit and how many did he leave behind?. We are talking of what he did to better the lives of the people that he gorvened not how many people he was criticing? Would the teachers of kaduna State be paid with how much noise he makes or , ? He left Kadua State worst than he met it. Please shows us your evidences to the contrary. Criticing Abacha, OBJ or Ribadu is bull sheet. Colleagues of Ribadu can confirmed that he never took a bribe as a Police Officer. Can the same thing be said about Umar? or IBB?

My Beloved friend,  There is no perfection in the action, judgement or wisdom of any man.  Perfection only belongs to God.  I am highly convinced that only God and God alone can do a perfect job.  Please let us ask ourselves these simple questions in our own private life.

If you happened to be a Police Officer in this our beloeved country, would you have taken bribe? for whatsoever reason?
If you are put in a position of authroty to manage an affair, would you be fair to all?  Would you treat all equally without any malice or sympathy?

We ask Ribadu to do his work with perfection.  That is brilliant but do you do your own work whereever you are and whatsoever you are doing with perfection.  Before we condemn Ribadu or praise him, can we all say that in all that we do, we are guided with "Pure conscience and absolute respect for the Truth and nothing but the truth or are we guided by the dictates of a sponsor by what he tend to gain or loose if "A or B" is at the corridor of power?  Please let us all remember once again that only GOD IS PERFECT and only GOD can make a perfect judgement and this can never be ascribed to any of us either we embrace ribadu or not.  Ribadu in his imperfection did his best for Nigeria.  Either we like it or not, the records are there to judge him.  But can you or I risk our lives as this man did?  IBB, Atiku, OBJ, Umar served Nigeria and the record is there to judge them of what they did. Please ask BigB1 who cares if Ribadu visits Aso Rock or Not.  He started a thread that says Ribadu is not welcomed at Aso  Rock.  I have only simply pointed everyone to what I read that says otherwise.  His visit or not to Aso Rock is immaterial to me.  His work, dedication, honesty and integrity in serving Nigeria as a Police Officer is all I care about.  IBB served as President, all we ended up with is Looting and Embezzlement of Nigerians etstate/resources.  Ribadu served as the Chairman of the EFCC and what we saw is that his record of achievement is envied by the likes of IBB, Atiku, Umar, and the rest of the rogues that stole Nigerian Money.    They say he did his just with imperfection.  The role of IBB as President of Nigeria far over weighs the level Ribadu is serving.  The only legacy IBB left behind is that he depleted our resources  with "perfection" in company of the people like Umar and the rest of them.  History will not forgive them. There is no evidence on record that Ribadu stole our money.  But evidences abound that IBB, Atiku, Ibori denied all Nigerians what belong to them.  This is what Nigerians cares about and not whether Ribadu visits Aso Rock or not.

From the info I referred you to, I do not see anywhere the word consent was mentioned. But please remember that if you want to come to my house, courtesy demands that you inform me. The bottom line is that you started a thread that says Ribadu is not wlecome at Aso Rock. Now you are contradicting yourself that its with his Boss's consent. Your thread did not give an iota of inverted comma, or comma. What a confusion my friend. Do you think IBB, Atiku as so on can walk into Aso Rock without informing The President!!!!. Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, visited Aso Rock today, to parley with President Umaru Yar’Adua.

His appearance at the Villa today rubbished earlier reports in some Nigerian A.M. newspapers that Malam Ribadu had been denied access to the Presidency.

Ribadu spent some time with President Yar’Adua. He came with a file, apparently to brief the President on the work of his Commission.

Ribadu will be proceeding to Kuru, Jos, to attend a nine-month programme at the Institute of Strategic Studies.

While away, Ibrahim Lamorde will run the EFCC.

Please spare me a minute. Does Umar being a critic of Abacha/OBJ mean he is honest and committed to fight corruption to stand still? Before he retired, please list his records of achievement either in the military or in other capacity he was priviledged to serve. There is no doubt that for a Police officer in Nigeria to challenge everyone of us including me and you that if ever he took bribe from anyone, such person should come forward and till date, not a signle person, to the best of my knowledge has been able to come forward. I have personally met Serving Senior police Officers that worked with Ribadu. Each of them confirmed that this guy is different. Me and you will remember that none of is perfect and can never be perfect. None of us is God and we can never be God. Only God is perfect. Please point us to any where in the world where an individual or organisation is perfect.

I have nothing against Umar or IBB except that both of them contributed immesensely to the mess Ribadu was trying to clean up. They both have the opportunity to use their respective opportunity to better Nigeria. But what is on record is nothing but failure and Curruption. IBB and Umar are both corrupt. Umar leading the EFCC will give birth to nothing but SUPER CORRUPTION - the type we have never witnessed before in the history of Nigeria. I have said it before and will repeat it again. Ribadu is replaceable. Some others can do better job than he has done but please not people like Umar. He had a chance but blew it. I have asked us to kindly bail us out by listing his (Umar's) achievements when he was in a place of authority. Not a single thing has been ascbribed to him except failure. Did he leave Kaduna State better? i do not think so. if you think so pleas list what he did. What did he do as a Serving Army Officer. Nothing except being an apostle of his master IBB. Has Umar ever got the gut criticise IBB? Where was he then?. You are correct that Umar is entitled to express himself but the point is that he lacks morality, decency and character to condemn Ribadu. At least we can all see what Ribadu achieved in his imperfection. But what did IBB, Umar and the rest of them achieve? Nothing except that they stole the money that belongs to all of us. There is nothing wrong with Umar expressing his opinion but he does not possess an integrity to judge Ribadu because of what is on record. The point here is CREDIBILITY, INTGRITY, CONSCIENCE AND HONESTY. Ribadu posses all these to some extent but IBB, Umar, Atiku does not posses any of these. The issue here is that Umar does not possess the credibility that Ribadu earned by virtue of what he did for Nigeria. Umar is entitled to his opinion and I respect that. But the issue is that when he served Nigeria, he had the opportunity to do things that will better Nigeria but he choose to steal with his master IBB that is why it is difficult to point out at this time what he did. The records are there for all that Ribadu worked hard and earned integrity and respect of common Nigerians even in his imperfection. It is on record that Umar, IBB earned disrespect by stealing the money that belong to Nigerians.

Umar should keep his mouth shut and talk about somehting else and not about what Ribadu did not do well. There is no iota of brillance in what he said but rather he is cleverly and deceifully trying to say something so that people can say he said something. Malam Nuhu Ribadu, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is yet to receive the letter from the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro, asking him to proceed on a nine-month course in Kuru, Jos, Plateau State.

P.M.News learnt last night that Malam Ribadu still reported to work yesterday, eagerly awaiting the letter. But there was no such letter, several days after Okiro, announced Ribadu’s nomination for the course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru.

Instead, the letter Malam Ribadu got from the Police High Command was the one from the Commissioner of Police, S. D. Fakai, demanding the “nominal roll” of all the police officers, working for EFCC.

There are an estimated 300 police officers working for EFCC. Fakai’s letter was dated 31 December and addressed to the chairman of the EFCC. It was not clear why the Police High Command wrote the letter since it should have the information about its men on duty transfer to the EFCC, where the minimum pay for the lowest ranked policeman is said to be N60,000 per annum.

Yesterday, the Presidency broke its silence on the raging controversy over the decision of Okiro to send Ribadu on course.
The Presidency confirmed that Okiro received its consent before picking Ribadu for the training in Kuru.

Special Adviser to President Umaru Yar’Adua on Communications, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi, confirmed that Okiro’s recommendation on Ribadu “means Ribadu will attend NIPSS like other officers so recommended.”

Adeniyi added that Ribadu “mishandled” the NIPSS course issue, in apparent reference to the public outcry that has trailed his removal from EFCC.

“The President feels sad about the blackmail which has become almost a permanent feature now. The moment the EFCC chairman has issues with any public official, be it the Attorney General or the IGP, the next thing you would hear is that the President wants to remove him to protect some corrupt former governors.”

Meanwhile, Okiro will meet with the 300 police officers attached to the EFCC today in Abuja.

Sources said the meeting is to allay the fears of the officers who are said to be jittery over their fate in the wake of the recent developments in EFCC.

Thanks for this. Let these apostles of IBB, Atiku, Umar tell us what they have achieved for Nigeria. Instead of answering the question they will only be babling and talking about what Ribadu did not do perfectly. The only thing I have seen IBB, Atiku, Umar and the rest of the thieves do perfectly is to steal shamefully with absolute perfection. What Ribadu achieved as a police officer was far more than what IBB, Atiku, Umar and these idiots achieved. Actually no right minded person will compare IBB, Atiku, Umar who are corruption persofate with Ribadu the Corruption fighter that scares hell out of IBB, Umar, Atiku and all the rogue ex-governors.

Please help us to list the achievement of Atiku, IBB and Umar as public officers. We know Ribadu is not perfect. But please for conscience sake, tell us what IBB, Atiku and Umar did perfectly except stealing our money. Nigerians are waiting for your list of achievement of IBB, Atiku and Umar.

Umar lacked credibility to speak about Ribadu. The records of both of them in public office speaks for itself. It is on record that Umar and IBB looted Nigeria without conscience. It is also on record that Ribadu served Nigeria with high integrity, truthfullness and absolute dedication. Ribadu pursued the war on corruption with vigour and strenght while Umar and IBB pursued the embezzlement of Nigeria Money with shamefullness. This is the truth and not be contested. Period!!!!!!.

What will make Abubakar Umar to do a good job?. What evidence of his integrity do we have?. A stooge of IBB have integrity? We are living in a dream land. Being a critic of OBJ does not make Abubakar to have integrity. His record in office is enough testimony to convince me he is not the right guy for a job like this. Let Umar come out and defend his record. Let those who have worked with him come and give a testimonial of his integrity indeed. While he was serving did he ever earn all he owns today legitimately?. I do not think so. Testimonial of people and colleagues are what makes Ribadu stands out. A Police Officer that everyone around him attest to never to take a bribe or inducement for whatever reason. Ribadu is replaceable. Some other people can do better jobs than him but not Umar or any of the sponsored Stooges of IBB or candidates of Ibori, OBJ, etc.

I agree with your point that this forum should not be an avenue to disrespect anyone simply because we hold different views. I did not write what I wrote because I want to disrespect you or your views. Even at home I have different views with my wife regarding many things. She supports Man U while I support Arsenal so respecting people view is a way of life and I buy to that with all my heart. I did not agree though that when we have issues in our private live either with our employer as in your case to raise a thread to say derogatory things about people that are serving us simply because they did not buy into our own ideas. I apologise if you feel offended but I stand by my point that its not the responsibility of Ribadu to be investigatings issues like yours.

I see the point you are making about all the petitions to EFCC. Personally, I do not have a regard for anyone, be it IBB, OBJ, Ribadu or whosoever that have no integrity particularly as it affects the masses of Nigeria. Ribadu as far I know is a worthy and a Police Officer with high degree of integrity. He has done his best for Nigeria and we can all see the evidence. People living in Nigeria may not appreciate what this guy has done but by priviledge I live outside Nigeria and I know what the fight against corruption championed by Ribadu has done. Every body will not agree with me and I respect their opinions.

I will first of all order the immediate arrest and detention of IBB, OBJ, Abdul Salam, Buhari, What ever is the remnant of Abacha Family, All Governors that have served under OBJ, all ministers that server under IBB, all administrators that served under IBB, Abdul Salami, Sonekan. All of them must declare their assets and the source of their incomes.

I will then make Ribadu the IG and El Rufai the Minister of Energy and will make the current head of this anti drug something the Finance Minister. I will make the CBN independent. I will make EFCC and ICPC to be independent. I will declare immediate war on Power. The minister must make sure Nigeria have stable power within 2 years.

I will look again at the suggestion of BigB1. I will borrow some of the ones I strongly feel is borne out of sincerity and not sentiment and petty sympathy for any one, it does not matter who it is. I will then do an appraisal every 3 months and then go from there.

Other stories except the ones witch hunting and blackmailing the integrity and commitment of Ribadu to Nigeria is false in your own judgement. This means you and those calling for the head of Ribadu is always right. I do not think so and the majority of the people do not agree with this either. Its time for us to think sense and search our conscience. Ribadu is a man and not God. He is not perfect and cannot be perfect. Evidences are abound that he proves his integrity as serving police officer. We knew he never took bribe. He pursued his work at EFCC with vigour and great commitment. His achievement in fighting corruption engigeered by the sponsors and god-fathers of some people including some in this forum is evident. Ribadu is replaceable. There are others that can do better jobs than him. He has perhaps made mistakes like every human being but his records of achievement is there for all. Governors being imprisoned for stealing public money. What a great job he has done.

Let those clamouring for the head of this "unique Ribadu" search their conscience. Can our associates, friends, immediate families, business colleagues attest to our integrity as they do for this guy called Ribadu. How you ever deceived anyone to with the view of gaining an advantage of them? Going on course is good for him and will make him better but the motive and timing is disgraceful while the consequence will be unmeasurable. Time will tell.

You are nothing but a disgruntled element that does not know your right from your left. If everybody that have problems with their employers/contracts will be assiststed by efcc, then they will spent the rest of their lives investigating cases like yours. I suspect you are one of the sponsored idiots trying to use this forum to get attention and discredit EFCC/Ribadu. What a shame on you, your sponsors and your colaborators. Please keep quite and talk about meaningful things that will Nigeria better.

I am definitely sure that if just for illustration they put you to do Ribadu's job for a minute, you will tuen ou to be a millionaire within the twingle of an eye. Your comments displays indiscipline and corruption all over you. In your life time you will never be able to achieve what Ribadu achieved so far at EFCC. I have met Senior Police Officers who worked with Ribadu and all of them, I mean all of them confirmed that Ribadu is such an exceptional Officer. Can the people in your own village attest to your integrity? Can your wife if you are married vouch for your integrity? Can your best friend attest to your integrity? Can your Church/Mousque people attest to your integrity? Can your employer attest to your integrity? I doubt it. I work as a contractor and also employ contractor so i know what it is to either work for people or to employ people. I am sure the contract job you got was never on merit p[erhaps you were introduced by a god-father. Is that life? is that honesty? is that not corruption?
