I like your list except that I'd have nothing to do with Akinwunmi Adesina - he failed to address the fundamental issues in the agriculture sector. Go to a small country like Zimbabwe and see how to run an efficient agriculture sector. And I think he talks too much. I live in Lagos and have never seen cassava bread, so I wonder if anyone in the villages has. I still eat imported rice - I want to eat the local one they have been talking about since forever.

And I'd put Fayemi squarely in National Planning - he did that for them throughout the campaign and I'd be surprised if he doesn't get that portfolio. Plus a few others things I disagree with on your list.

He wasnt that bad. His case is just the epic case of putting a good person in a bad system...he will fail. But he still managed to succeed a bit....that goes for Barth as well.

The allocation is monthly sir. The entire amount shared in 2014 was a whopping 7.7 trillion, while the country made 77 Billion USD from crude alone. What made Lagos State Monthly allocation to be that high is just the VAT: Value Added Tax paid by the people, and the businesses into the federal account. 13% of the VAT gets Lagos allocation that big. I am just extremely confused why Akwa Ibom should be ahead of PH, a state that's the closest to Lagos regarding VAT generation into the FED's purse. Anyways, here's how they pay each state:

1 Gross Statutory Allocation
2 13% Share of Derivation Goes only to the SS
3 External Debt Deductions Lagos tops this table, but with its 100 Billion monthly IGR, the State is paying back its debts steadily
4 Contractual Obligation Deductions such as SWF, ECA, IMF, Etc
5 Crude Oil Excess Proceeds Goes to majorly to SS, and every other state get some part of it
6 Other Deductions
7 VAT Allocations Led by Lagos, PH, Kano, Kaduna, Oyo and Delta
8 Net Statutory Allocations The total sum

Akwa Ibom remains the ONLY state to have collected as much as 4 trillion naira since the past 8 years. The first State in Nigeria, to collect roughly over 1 trillion within 4 years. I still think the esteemed Governor could have turned that state to some Dubai. I dont think his accomplishment are that mammoth.

Please, someone should share, how much each state contributes to the FED yearly. But sincerely, the EFCC needs to start killing our GOVERNORS. Especially, that useless Delta and Oyo state governors! grin

The Yorubas faced more than verbal attacks from GEJ regime. APC was called a Yoruba party, any pro-APC candidate is called Tinubu's cronies, and the entire race was wrapped up as a slaving tribe for the North. As we can all see, the intent and desire of every single Yoruba is a unified political front, a matured one, where we are recognized and fully represented. To my Ibo brothers, the Oba made a terrible blunder by uttering those unguarded statement, but as horrible as they seem, every Yoruba and Ibo have said worse to themselves openly, and on nairaland, and I am extremely distressed if this is the excuse the Igbos are looking for to vote for Agbaje. When did Agbaje become an Ibo man? And when did electioneering become all about sentiments, tribalism, ill-feeling or hate or religion? My Ibo people made this blunder by putting their entire eggs into the PDP basket, and we all know where that leaves you right now. Please, dont repeat this same error in Lagos, and stack your votes for the opposition and in the end, suffer after Ambode wins. It wouldnt bode well if he wins, knowing how much the Ibos wanted him to lose, and this would lead to a lot of regression on the Ibos political foray in Lagos State, a state I believe would be having an Ibo governor in the foreseeable future. Please, lets be matured, grow beyond mere pettiness and act in a politically matured manner. The King made a blunder, he's a king, and not god, and we should learn to forgive...afterall, that is the spirit of Chrisainity, a religion that's the fort of the Ibos. Ibo Kwenu! I hail!
