Asking this question actually shows you are an intellectual dude... because at the core, the ability to withstanding pressure and maintaining emotional control is one of the most important skill a man can have when dealing with women ( and life in general).
This skill is far more important than your physical fitness. It's more important than how smooth you are or how good looking you are.

Fews years back I was invited to a interview where there were about 15 candidate who were in attendance.

When it got to my turn to be interviewed, I was invited to the Manager's office(a Man) who would be interviewing me.

After scanning through my CV carefully, he looked at me and said, "Look, succeeding in this business is about taking control of situations that you encounter in your day to day sales activities, and to not allowing these situations to control you."

I said, "Ok?"

Then he looked dead in my eyes and asked, "So how do you take control of highly pressured situation that you'll encounter and not allow the situation to control you?"

There are many fancy and flashy answers to that questions, but at that point I just wanted say what I felt.

I said, "Well, I'll take control of the highly pressured situation by letting go of the situation."

I paused for about 3 seconds, trying to think if what I just said make sense to me. But then in my mind, I said, "mtcheew, Bleep it."

Then I continued confidently: " I'll take control of the situation by not trying too hard to fix the situation.... there are somethings that are just beyond my control... Knowledge is knowing when to keep pushing for something. Wisdom is knowing when to respect myself and Walk away."

After I made that last statement, there was an awkward silence between us that lasted for about 7 seconds or so. The man seemed to surprised my answer. He never predicted that answer.(well, I don't like being predictable)
I didn't say anything else. I waited patiently for what he’ll say next. After a long silence that seem like the whole world freezed for a while, he cleared is throat and said, "So why should we give you this Job?"

I said, "You should give me this job because bla bla bla bla bla."
I said some cliche answers I've crammed from the internet.

"Well, we'll get back to you," the manager said while gesticulating for me to get Bleep out his office.

Of course, you'd pretty much assume that they were never going to get back to me... because Obviously it looked like I performed very poor in the interview. Even me, I was a bit worried that i didn't came up with smarter answers.

But to my greatest surprise, 3 weeks later I was invited back to discuss the date it will be ok for me to start the job. Out of 20 people, only I and two other guys were invited back.

Although this my answers seem weak:
" I'll take control of the situation by letting go of the situation" and " I'll take control of situation by not trying hard fix the situation. there are somethings that are just beyond my control. Knowledge is knowing when to keep pushing for something. Wisdom is knowing when to respect myself and Walk away."

But that's actually the way forward.


Strangely, ability to withstand pressure and maintain emotional control requires no superhuman strength or endurance. It's just requires the ability to let go and not trying to force things go your way all the time.

So the question, how do one get emotional control from within your internal self, as in internal control not the external.

Obviously, the solution is to stop trying to get control from the external.

Here's is an example of trying to get control from the external: Trying to make a woman like you.

Trying to make a woman like you is an unhealthy goal because #1 you can't always control if a woman will like you or not--and since you can't control it, you’d always be ruled by fear.

And Because #2 you’ll only cause yourself headache and make things unnecessarily stressful for yourself.

You can imagine the kind of stress you have to go through to make her like you:

You’ve got to interact with her in a pleasant and cautious manner.

You’ve got to put up with het saucy and disrespectful behavior.

You’ve got to put up with her abusive behavior.

You’ve got to do things to impress her friends and family.

This put your emotions at the mercy of the woman. As long as she like you, you’ll feel worthy and confident about yourself. But the moment she act cold towards you, your whole world is shattered. You start trying hard to fix the situation.

And remember, in that interview, I said " I'll take control of the situation by not trying too hard to fix the situation."


The ability to let go of a woman when you want her the most—is one of the most important skills you can develop in your interactions with women.

The harder you try to persuade a woman to accept you, the less you succeed in accomplishing that goal.

Life itself is paradoxical. Avoiding negative experiences rejection, criticism or mistakes only increased your chance of getting those negative experiences.


Letting go doesn't mean you're weak; it means you understand that there are some things that are just fucking out of your control.

Letting go of things that are beyond your control, doesn't mean you're powerless; Is simply means you're mature enough to understand that, sometimes not everyone would like you or be interested in you.

When a woman reject you or show no interest in you, you might be tempted to try to convince her and try to force her to see things your way....but in reality you are only wasting your time and disrespecting yourself.

The solution is to simply "let go" by walking away and moving on the next available chick.

Many guys have the mentality of:

"What can I do to get this woman to like me so that I can feel great and confident about myself?"

That's a weak ass mentality. This is why you can't withstand the pressure of being disliked or being ignored by her.

My mentality is:

"What can I do to feel great and confident about myself so that it wouldn't really matter if this woman like me or not? "

This is how I get emotional control from within my internal self.

Because when you're focused on being liked or being accepted... she tends to have more power than you in the interaction.

This is why I say things like: having low tolerance for a woman's bullshit; Boldly expressing yourself; Immediately NEXTING a woman if she's not cooperating; not allowing her influence or manipulate you with feminine sexiness and so on....because those things are in your fucking control. This is how you maintain emotional contol regardless of the response you are getting from her. This is what makes you a confident and dominant man.
