The oil and gas industry is one of the biggest and lucrative industries. In fact, it is probably one of the most vital sectors of the economy because every other industry is dependent on its output; which are petroleum products. This is why almost all the world billionaires and richest people own considerable investments in the oil and gas sector. Why is Dangote building the largest refinery in AFRICA? |
Do you know that the cost of buying diesel(AGO) last month August was N140, as at today September is N175. Thats a difference of N35. Just imagine you have a stock of 100,000lts, that is a whopping N3,500,000 (three million, five hundred thousand naira) in less than a month. Same applies to other traded petroleum product. One of the major factor that determines this price fluctuation is the International Price. Petroleum product is still the most traded commodity in the world despite the call for cleaner fuels. You want to learn this and more, come to intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on the 27th of September 2017. Come and meet with captains of the industry. For those interested, send me whatsapp on 08032476008. |

terrible pot holes everywhere in Lagos. That Mushin road is becoming a death trap for motorist. Lagos state Govt is busy knocking at people's door to collect different taxes but throws a blind eye on the immediate problems of the people of the state. We hope for a new Nigeria one day. |

ICT is gradually taken over some jobs. In few years, some jobs will go extinction. The size of the banks are reducing, branches are merging to reduce over heads. It is not an APC matter pls!!! More jobs are going to be lost in few years. You must position yourself before it is too late. |
And where is your website? |

Stop putting yourself to unnecessary pressure. It is not your fault neither it is your wife's fault. It is just the waiting period. Please celebrate yourselves and live your life to fullest. I waited for 8yrs before my kids came but in less than 2yrs, I was blessed with 3 kids. Our hands are full now! Help your wife to have faith n never stop praying together. "In the sight of GOD, there is fullness of Joy" "Non SHALL be barren in the land" These are just few out of the thousands of GOD's promises over HIS children. Bro, nothing do u! |
Please post this news so as to alert Lagosians on a possible strike actions by NUPENG members in the next few days. The Nigerian Union of Petroleum & Natural Gas Workers(NUPENG) embarked on a peaceful protest at the Secretariat, Alausa over the non payment of #224M debt owned by Lagos State Government(LASG). Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, the southwest chairman promised to embark on a state strike action if nothing is done about the debt after 7days from the day of the protest. Korodo alleged that the #224M debt was for the payment of diesel & Kerosene supplied to the state Government for the execution of Direct Labour projects in Ojodu between October 2014 & May 2015. However, the LASG assembly members attended to the protesters to calm down and promised to look into the matter ASAP. Pictures attached.

Hi Nairalanders Several motorist were robbed in traffic at Gbagada/Oworonshoki axis at about 5.30am today, Monday, 2 November, 2015. The robbers who were armed with guns and cutlasses smashed many car windows to cart away valuables before government security forces arrived at the scene. Recent reports from across Lagos State indicate an increase in the prevalence of road robbery during peak traffic periods. From these reports, it is suggested that these incidences typically occur between 5.30am and 6.30am in the morning, and between 7.30pm and 10.00pm at night. More recently, areas such as: · Mile 2, Ijora, · Marina, · CMS, · Costain, · Ijora, · Mushin, · Surulere, · Ojota, · Ogudu, · Osborne, · Oshodi and Ajah have reported the highest cases of robbery incidences. The following tips have been developed for the safety of employees while commuting within Lagos State. · Keep valuables like handbags, cash, laptops, and iPads away from sight while driving. These items are safer in the trunk of the car. · The use of cell phones should be minimized or avoided while in traffic especially in high risk areas. · Laptops and iPads must not be used at any time while driving on Nigerian roads. · Avoid driving alone if possible - lone drivers are more vulnerable to attack. · Do not buy items from street hawkers while in traffic. Most times, armed robbers decoy as street hawkers. · Avoid driving in dimly lit ‘’short cut’’ areas; stick to main streets as much as possible. · Keep windows up and car doors locked at all times while driving. · Do not pick up strangers looking to catch a ride with you. For employees with drivers, kindly ensure that your drivers are well advised to desist from doing such when you are not in the vehicle. · Driving in the middle lanes is much safer than staying on either edges of the road. · Make effective use of your rear view mirrors and monitor activities of street hawkers and passersby around your vehicle. · Consider have some cash in your pocket or car compartment. · If you are attacked you may release the cash to the attackers to get them off you. · Do not play the HERO. Remember that no material possession is worth your life. · While driving tune in to any local FM radio station of your choice for security and traffic updates. Some of the fm radio stations are: ü Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 ü Inspiration fm 92.31 ü Metro fm 97.6 ü Classic fm 97.3 ü Wazobia fm 95.1 ü Ray Power fm 100.5 ü Eko fm 89.75 Preventive security measures are the most effective and cheaper safeguards to personal and corporate security.
