modestbrowser:1. Kindly refer to the picture above. 2. Not everybody has the multiple personality disorder 3. It must really hurt to seek someone's attention and get no response. Time to move on. 4. All this could have been avoided with an age-verification system on Nairaland. 5. Go back to step 1. You have been duly reported and promptly ignored. Your replies henceforth will not been seen; so bask in that delight. Cheers. |
modestbrowser:I know some admins on top? Want me to refer this case. You said he scammed you.
|
modestbrowser:Interesting. You should be wary how you tag people names. I have seen you troll a lot. Can you back up your claims with substantial proof? |
There are many things that come into consideration as to who is invited or not However; whatever you do; make sure to aim for 99.99% correctness in your answers. And this cannot be achieved when you rush the questions in a bid to impress or do submit first. I have been programming for years; I answered every question under a minute. I do not need reference to the Home Study guide; I could have submitted now if I wanted to. But no; I am taking my time, because there are many factors to consider first. |
babihouse:Read my post again; this time slowly ; You're saying the same thing I said. |
babihouse:I've solved everything; 100% accurately. Just not submitted yet. Buying time, chilling ![]() |
YorubaEmir:I am perplexed as much as you are. I hope he makes it though; as he said he's been rejected before. Maybe this same scenario played out. There is a reason why Andela gave lots of headroom for the assessment. If you want to impress them by submitting in less than 24 hours; you will ONLY play yourself. |
YorubaEmir:He already submitted it. |
Brunomash:Your test cases for Challenge #15 ain't complete. And also how can you be so sure the objective questions were answered correctly? The green tick you see for them means you attempted the question; it doesn't mean the answer is correct. As you can see it say "N/N questions answered" and not "N/N answers correct" Only the test cases have the green tick to show the answers are correct. If I were you , I'd go back and double check and triple check; ; but of course; too late cos' you already submitted it. |
Neozy:There are four ways by which you can be hacked. 1. The most common method of all is the bruteforce attack (which guesses your passwords or more specifically, tries it against a very large database of common passwords. This is where a complex password shines, make it harder and/or practically impossible to bruteforce with the exisiting technology now. 2. Via social engineering; where you are convinced to click an email or download/open an "infected" file which gives unrestricted access to your computer system; thereby they can view your keystrokes. 3. Connecting to an insecure or fake hotspot where data packets can be monitored, analyzed and decrypted. Be careful the wifi networks you connect to. 4. A hacker gets access to the database of INstagram ( and thus gets access to everybody on instagram from a - z). But in this case, the passwords are often hashed and salted; not plain text so cannot be decrypted. Though some websites use plain text at some point; even facebook yes. Then, finally unless you re dumb to just call out your password. So you see, people don't just get hacked out of the blues. One of those actions listed above must have taken place. |
That's what you get when you use Password12345 instead of 6Dp$9%qcYQCj |

trixandra:If every other thing is correct; refresh browser (clear cache). By the way, show the whole code block next time for proper diagnosis. Could be a syntax error too |
prince29782:Mention the function you're having issues with. |

Here goes |
Dam5reey:Alright mate! Have it, you will !!!! p.s.: you should prolly have a fireman's number on speed dial |
Dam5reey:I have the controller back!!! Will do an in-depth test today; mind you I have already order for a 60A one from Amazon . . . because I cannot trust this one to last long When it arrives, I will replace it and give out this one. And unlike Kiekie (who will still want to sell it and beat his chest like KingKong (no pun intended)), I will give it out for free with a disclaimer that it has been worked upon so use at your own risk !!! |
Dam5reey:It appears you have not been following me; all the while. Of course, I have let go . . . but if i see a misconstrued post, I will correct it. There was a warranty because I asked him before purchase and he boasted of how he has sold 1 gazillion units of items and batteries and nobody complained. He has a very "sweet mouth"; I must say. Pray you do not fall into his deception . . . you will see the real him. If it had even worked for 1 week, like your laptop's keyboard, I wouldn't have even complained. Common, just 36 hours!! Even 3rd-hand items from Computer Village will survive past a 36-hour test phase. It was not as if I slammed it on the floor or something, it was an internal fault. Have you seen him come to comment? No? What does he tell you? You might think he is displaying maturity by not commenting? NO He is displaying stup1dity! Trying to construct a scenario that would please the readers. The f00l would flash my number twice then send a text message "I HAVE BEEN CALLING YOU AND YOU ARE NOT ANSWERING" Like seriously Who does that![]() My advice, do not purchase sensitive/fragile items from Kiekie OR do so at your own risk. From research, I can count up to 3 members here whom Kiekie paid back their generosity with shadiness. Let's call it a day; it has been an inglorious episode; but please stop currying favors from a fox !!! |
Dam5reey:Dont say what you are unsure of, sir I did try to resolve it amicably, but his sly nature wont allow him How else do you want me to do it? Go on my knees and beg him ![]() To refund or pick up the tab? or go dutch? Whats with all the “ass-licking” Stop it!If my claims were defamatory, he should come and refute it ! Where I come from, silence means consent! shalom ! |

@Saipro . . I saw your comments and thoughtful, they are! But unfortunately, didn't work in my scenario because it was only powering a 12V system and at failure, the voltage coming from the panels were about 18v roof-line The CC wasnt delivering amps, which meant zero charge but yet, it was raising the battery voltage from 13.7 float to 16V and the CC would disconnect with an OVD (over voltage disconnect) warning !! The warning stayed put, until i manually disconnected the CC from Panels via the breaker. Battery voltage went back to 13.8 thereabouts (float) On flipping the breaker back to the ON position . . . whilst zero amps still displaying, CC would raise the battery voltage again to 16V, creating the OVD warning again. Until I brought out the PWM to the rescue. Update: Spoke with the Engineer who said he had fixed it.What he did to fix it, I don't know but he confirmed it was now working perfectly and he has test-ran it with panels and batteries and all is fine. How long it would last, I do not know. Would my house blow up while I am asleep . . . Only God knows! The Engineer said his charge is 10,000 Spoke to Kiekie and said I can only pay 6,000. Take note: 10,000 is seemingly too minute an amount to lose sleep over; but Kiekei1 has to man-up and take responsibility too. So being a very nice person, I only offered to pay 6,000 to the Engineer If the Engineer refuses to accept it, KieKie would have to balance him 4,000 or he could speak to his Engineer to accept it (they are friends) But Kiekie would go on to narrate how he blah blah blah and blah . . .and yes, he talks too damn much for a man! For someone who claims he is very busy, his calls are nothing less than 15 minutes at a stretch. He went on to narrate how "he killed a chicken, and the chicken resurrected inside the soup . . and he killed a bird, and the bird's mom flew away' . . SMH seriously! Well, I called the engineer again and he said, he wont accept 6k, obviously Kiekie didn't want to balance the 4k.. . so he said, he will accept 8k I said OK, send me your bank details, he has sent it and I am going to pay him now. I have arranged a courier service to go pick it up from his office and make an express delivery to me. If you add the total cost spent in sending it to the engineer, paying him and sending it back to me .. It would have gotten a 60A mppt of Aliexpress and or a 40A one on Amazon and I would have had rest of mind about warranties. As a prime member that I am on Amazon, I only need to send video proof and get a replacement without returning the bad item. So I tried to be penny wise, and ended up being pound foolish. Would I deal with Kiekei again? Yes, only on items 2,000 and below. Would I recommend him? NEVER Is he honest? NO, whilst appearing honest, he is sly, shady and self-centered. Does he like to refund or share the bills? NO Does he want your money? YES Is he talkative? YES If there are any other updates, i will share thanks.!!! |
kiekie1:if you had taken you time to cross-check the post times .. you would see that these posts were made when you were silent . . and before our conversation. After our conversation; i have since kept mute. But you do not expect me to come delete or edit my post when there has been no resolution. I spoke with your engineer this morning, his tone didn't sound too promising. But I kept quiet and I am still being optimistic about the whole situation. Because as it is, this mppt is what is delaying a setup upgrade. Maybe you can discuss with him too. I will only edit my post when there has been a solution I deal with facts not emotions. |
israelpalatoe:Buhahaha, that's rubbish I will stick to buying from Amazon; they have excellent warranty. As a matter of fact, if you make a convincing video; they will ship another to you without having you return the damaged item. The last battery i bought from eBay too (that got damaged), the seller only asked me to pay for just shipping fee again to get a brand new one free . . . I was just impatient and decided to quickly get one from Nigeria here Alas, i was wrong !!!! |
NiyiOmoIyunade:Just to correct your view, item was not sold "as-is". I am fully aware of what it means to sell an item "as-is" and if that was the case; I would never buy it And if i did buy it, whatever I get, I will keep to myself; cos I asked for it. Item sold "as-is" are sold at dirt cheap price; that even if you fixed it, you would still make profit. You would not buy a used item and still fix it; eventually spending more than you would if you had gotten a brand new one. Thanks. |
kiekie1:Hello dear seller, I can confirm that we have spoken on phone ( for a cumulative period of up to 50mins) this morning. And item has been waybilled to your professional to look at it, if it could be resurrected or not. Let's wait for the outcome. Remain blessed. |
Dam5reey:Of course I am calm, else I would have escalated it more than this. Well, he gave me his Engineer's contact and I have way-billed it to him. The engineer will take a look at it and from there we'll know stage 2. I'll keep the house updated. |
Mr K K; i will come and drop your "expensive brick" for you. it is such a shame that it failed barely 36 hours into use and by the pictures and description; an internal circuitry problem which should be covered by your warranty. I know you are money-oriented and you smirk of shadiness but I am not even asking for my money back (which i have a right to) but I only ask that you accept it, and fix it and we move on, like nothing happened. Remember, I posted about the SOC data not displaying . . . which has now dawned on me as an internal circuit issue; but can be ignored But total charge failure will not be ignored. You should work on your after sales support, money is not everything my friend . . . Reputation and honesty should be! 1st impression lasts longer ! |

abunafiu:Please help me tell Kiekie to find a solution to this problem, sir. How does he expect me to drive all the way to Lagos State University n fix this bad unit with my own money just 36 hours after it failed? |

Who does that
... Most replies you got from online participant wer point blank which you also compared Nigeria business with Amazon et al.. All Sunday post of yours was seen and most will see it as bugging when you keep making a no issue out of nothing.. You don't maim a personell who is dedicated and trustworthy in his services because of a "fairly new item you got freely & happily abinitio" .. Complaints came after few days and you wer duely referred to my service personnel as that's the only ethical step I could offer ... Links of same Sunday post was treated and fellow forum members only kept mute and advice you treat all personally as nobody defrauded you .. See link below :
