You just can't slap the cold reality of life into the skull of a petulant brat!

All these attacks in Nigeria: the kidnappings, the killing of farmers, the adducting of schoolchildren, the murdering of employers by house helps etc which I strongly believe are the consequences of our open borders, informs me that Africa has no long term future. This is because these terrible actions, that experts blame on poverty, informs me that Africans may be generally criminal minded and deviant of spirit. If you look with open mind at the continent of Africa, try and honestly work out how millions will be lifted out of poverty given the prevailing continental and international realities, the prognosis dose not seem promising. In order words, the chances of lifting million out of poverty throughout Africa looks slim. And if Africans react to poverty by being murderous, rapacious unethical, deviant, envious and bitter of mind, what hope is there for Africa?


I experienced in childhood, along with thousands of others, real poverty in Nigeria. I mean extreme, excruciating poverty. Actual starvation, not fashionable political poverty, but real Poverty! But we were never bitter, envious, or angry about our situation. It is not true that a hungry man is an angry man. We blamed no one and in fact we were very kind and helpful, limited only by our circumstances. No time did we want to rob, kill, burn, ravage anyone or destroy the lives of those more fortunate than we were.

Police, working in the filed, make statements based on first hand knowledge, Nigerians on social media say another. It's always as if Nigeria public servants know nothing while every Nigerian online know better and are experts.

All over social media there's this new drive portraying Igbos as being the victim of terrible Tribalism by other Nigerians. Old footage of Nigeria civil wars are being pushed as part of this, with narrative skewed terribly in one direction. People posting comment on how they hate Nigeria, calling Nigerian and Nigerians all sorts of terrible names.

I won't be surprised if South Africans are heavenly involved in pushing this trend. The End goal being about deciding Nigeria and destrythe country.

Very odd. They revealed that they were willing and ready to face the entire Nigeria state, face military bullets, defy the constitution by flying Russian flags, troop out in as many numbers as required to topple thire governor, burn politician homes but they refuse to rise up en mass (in emergency civic duty) to tackle the bandits. Whites have the economic power world wide, they value this over all black power stuff that they preach but don't mean.

Common sense is too cheap I guess but doesn't common sense suggest that if a few Nigerians at the top have for decades been, and still are, scheming oil money off the quantity Nigeria produces officially and unofficially, they would be currently the wealthiest people on the planet, wealthier even than Elon Musk ?

This then leads to common sense thoughts such as, wealthy individuals of this magnitude would find it difficult to exist anonymously. However, Since Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, some Indians and Saudis are known as the wealthiest people on Earth and no Nigerian known as Alahaji NNPCni among, where is Nigeria's corrupt oil money wealth hiding ?

Nigeria made progress in one area of olympics that was unfortunately overshadowed by the negatives. Nigeria expanded her sports portfolio to include track cycling and river sports.

We need to continue. We need to increase the number of sports that we take part in the Olympics and which additionally offers grater opportunities for young people in Nigeria due to verity of choices. You never know were your talent lies. Not everyone is gifted in track and filed sports. An Archery Guru may reside within, unbeknownst to you.

We also need to improve the standard of local athletes so that, come Trials for selection to participate in world sorts completion, they are able to be at least as competitive as foreign based athletes.

It’s amusing how some folks think storming a leader’s house will bring about change. This is just another display of misplaced energy and desperation. Instead of constructive dialogue, they resort to chaos. What a way to show how far we’ve fallen!

Something deeper than this is taking place. Politicised jealousy, lowest form of rebellious thinking that I thought Nigerians were beyond. No nation with jealous citizens ever progresses or contributes to humanity. They never look beyond what others have, never look forward only behind. Those online working to place this ugly dieses in the Herts of Nigerians know what they are doing. Lack of jealousy is what made Nigerians greater than other Africans. You instil jealousy in the hearts of people, you arrive at a blame culture where people never take responsibility for thire own actions or failures. They no longer become strivers.
