Hello great scholars in the house. Please I want to write my PhD in Accounting proposal, I am considering something related to Environmental Accounting Reporting and Disclosure. Please has any one done anything related to the topic before.

Also, this new Voluntary Asset and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS), is there any way it can be linked to tax avoidance/evasion.

Hello Mamas in the house. Please I will like to know at what age a child should start writing.
My son's (2yrs4mnths) teachers has been complaining that he is not doing well at school, that by now he should be at least writing figures '1-4' and alphabets 'A & B'. The only thing he can do is scribble figure 1,though he can read and identify 1-20 and A-J. When his teacher complained, we registered him at lesson(taken by his class teacher), I pick him up by 4 and he naps immediately he gets home most times for like 1-3 hours, so weekends is only time we have to teach him at home. His proprietress also complained today when dh went to pick him up.
Please what can I do to help him catch up at school and he is easily distracted, can hardly get him to concentrate on anything for 2 minutes. Kindly share any method(s) you have been using with your kids.

The one ds is having too is inguinal hernia at the right side .then his doctor is right thought the hernia is painful but he kept saying that not why is crying.but pls do you notice his stomach rumbling. tnx

pls ma I have a question to ask you about the hernia. my Ds have been diagnosis with it and he's just two month but there r time he cry excessively but when I go to the clinic the said it not the hernia that making him cry .pls do notice the excessive crying before the surgery. tnx ur prompt ans will be appreciated

The hernia he had was inguinal hernia, at the scrotum. And it wasn't affecting him at all, no pain or discomfort, just decided the earlier d better since he hs clocked one already. I don't know much about that of d navel, but I heard it usually closes before most babies grow up.

Hello Mamas in the house.
Please my ds is 1yr &4 months but has not started walking. He cruises around the house looking for things to hold but will not walk unaided. He hs been doing this for over 5 months. His nannies say he is making attempt at the crèche but no attempt at home. They said he was slowed down because of his sickness (he was sick for like a month: dysentery + hernia surgery + dysentery).
I was told I should be worried only when he's 18 months, but that is just at d corner, please I'm over worried already. What can I do to encourage him.

It's his time jooor . He is practicing moving from one point to another no matter the method he uses. I love his white eyes.....the innocence in them

U need to see how smallish he looks, but his bones are very strong. That's how I met him on d floor few days ago in d middle of d night after kicking away all d pillows. Even my phones and laptop have not been spared, he just looks for something his leg can touch, and it is a goal

Like a mama said, find time to visit d creche unexpectedly. if u won't be available, let someone u trust to give u true info do that on ur behalf.

I've got a question pls.must one give a newborn medicines?reason been to help baby feed n grow well.medecins like vitC,B complex,multivite,etc...my sister in laws came over for ma petite's dedication and wer shocked I'm not giving her any med.na so dem go pharmacy shater drugs come.gripewater,colipan,ampiclox syrup,all d vitamin syrups,etc...i still dey look d drugs for here.

As long as ur lo is fine, there's no need for drugs o. I don't knw why pple like opening pharmacy for babies. Abeg tell them thank u & jejely pack d drugs somewhere, they are not ur paed.

I have some questions, pls. You ported from Feb 2016 to Dec 2015, just like me.
My DD also born at 34 weeks is so tiny, everyone is usually surprised when they learn she is as old as she is. She is just 2.8 kg. It breaks my heart. She looks like a day old baby.
If you don't mind me asking, are you exclusively breastfeeding or supplementing with formula?
Is there anything I can do to help her gain more?
I feel like a failure.
She is an iugr baby born at 2.2 kg and i'm very slim. I don't know if that is a contributing factor to her slow weight gain.

My DS too was born at 35wks weighing 2.5kg, he ws looking very tiny (like 2kg baby), I ws even afraid to leave d hospital after I ws discharged
Just make sure u feed her well even if u plan to EBF, time her feeds don't wait till she cries or is hungr & also eat well itself & put ur mind at rest, b4 u knw it, u will looking at her & wonder how she grew so fast. My DS at 6wks he weighed 3.4kg but still looking small (though I and DH too are very smallish). Introduced aptamil at 6wks, weighed 4.7kg at 10wks & 5.4 at 14wks. His weight too is still below average for a BB but I'm hoping he will catch up very soon.

Are there mamas that don't go through this? Please what's the secret? It was like this with my first too and it didn't stop till I stopped breastfeeding. On top all the correct latching and Co.

U can also check ur lo's tongue to see if it's not tied down, if her tongue is lifting very well. if u are unsure u can ask a nurse or an experienced mama around to help u check.

@Dhbeautyjas, thanks for your contribution. I don't take bread so well cos am avoiding anything that will add fat. I notice when I eat bread the stool stop. A friend bakes, maybe I will be ordering from her frequently cos her bread is good with no much raising agents.

@Zaynie, yes I eat lots of veggies and fruits, have stopped eating lots now that the stooling refuse to go. I don't eat out. Even when am not preggy I don't eat out. I carry food to work always.

Are u taking any form of iron supplements? I discovered d iron supplements I was taking when I was pregnant ws purging me, so I switched to another type.

Yes it hit me real hard when my lovely Mum finally died in my hands, afta 4days of illness. I'm in soo much pains at d moment. Scared wen lonely, cry every night, memories of her on ending as all my lyf she has bn close to me n dh.

My mum cudnt wait to see my baby n takia of us as we hav both planned.

Pls wat do I need to do to get dis pain off my mind n her memories too?

It is well dear, u have to take heart & be strong for d sake of ur baby. I know how it feels, I lost my younger brother, d last born of d family to cancer of d bone two months ago. I was more of his guardian than a sister. I still miss him & sometimes wish someone will wake up & tell me it was just a bad dream but i just av to face d reality that he's gone.
Just think of those precious moments u shared together, treasure those memories and celebrate her. She has gone to rest & is free frm pain ( cancer can be very painful & it hurts to see those u love in pains). And if u are a Christian or Muslim, then u know that she's just sleeping on & u will still meet her someday.
