Spewing trash? I bet you can't read. Where is the trash in what he spewed? And tomorrow morning, you'll join your friends to criticize the Nigerian situation when a little attempt at changing things is viewed as trash by you.

Op your hypocrisy is nauseating. So you know she's in a serious relationship and you are still sleeping with her? You kiss her with one side of your mouth and condemn her with the other side. What makes you better than her? Mumu.
Now, I love the sound of this. grin

You just made me so super-proud to say I'm from Osgobo. When poetry is employed to celebrate culture, the art produced is ever a vibrantly colorful one. I enjoyed your poetry, and your analysis is right on point.

Thanks for sharing, amberacious.

The exaggeration and personification here is just interestingly horrific. cheesy

Just highlighted my favourite lines.

Great one Lake! (he's back!!! grin)

Interestingly horrific? The strange way poets use words.

He's not back yet. This is only a flash of lightning - on a sunny summer day. Haven't you now finally lost your pen, Tim?

Poems For ReviewThe Dying Poet by llaykorn(op): 10:26pm On Aug 18, 2016
The dying poet was not eager to live.
Nor death to make his reprieve.
But to lie somewhere in between
Death and the life you seek.

His soul cried emotion for love of both
So he tried once to kill his soul.

But soon the love of good and that of bad
Found their places in one single man.
The colors of light and those of dark
Painted his blood in white and black.

To redden what white and black was ever not.
He tore his skin and licked the blood

He later sought to know the strings attached
To what tied the duo of sin and man.
Sought knowledge to East and back
And from he who lived in desert sand.

So as a hopeless traveler, bruised and torn.
Beaten and dying for the knowledge he sought.

He met a mountain sage, meek and bald.
Who knew what tied the duo of sin and man.
That was a day before he breathed his last
When he learned of ying and yang.

He had found at last what he gave all to seek.
But it never stayed long to give him peace.

He breathed his last in the arms of the monk
"Scatter, yeah, my ashes dear noble monk"
But never me mourn with a painful song.
For today I found what I long long sought.

Then he waited his last wish to know
If burned or not the body with the soul.

Didn't know I used to watch the back of my TV during sports...

A coach is a one who leads his player, be it a football country or club by setting up practices to test their skills etc, same way he inspires them.. Our coach for today's match was Samson Siasia..

A referee is someone who supervises a whole game or simply put, that oga that runs around with players in the field dishing out red & yellow cards, blowing his whistles for handballs, corner kicks, fouls, substitutions, penalties etc

Calm down oo!!! I used to play football for my secondary school until I clocked 16, and started acting all girly..

@ LastMumu, you will hit that head oo cheesy..

Sorry for the late reply.. We were praying..
Calm down, calm down. It's not like that na. You now sound like a typical Chelsea supporter. You even know so many names. I think you qualify as a lady I can afford to watch a match with. grin

Since we both owe ourselves then we should just apply one of the accounting principle known as 'Bad debt' and write them off. undecided
No. Let's apply some other principle. You'll find a name for it. We subtract the sum of the values of the debts. What remains will be paid by the party with the bigger one.

Now, meat now sells for 50 naira in the biggest restaurant in Lagos. Let's say you were going to get 3 pieces. I think you can now subtract 150 naira. Thank you.
