Earlier in his career he said he doesn't feel a Nigerian but now he suddenly feels a Nigerian than English. Well it is good to represent a top tier footballing Nation, but if you are not sure of getting a decent career with such Nation, better switch. |

Alfryd: I just like wetin this coach talk, for billing to get 10 cap for Denmark, It will take a miracle . l.....
enmark coach insists Premier League stars keeping Billing out of squad not Nigeria comments
Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing has been omitted from the latest Denmark squad announced on Monday ahead of the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Austria.
The Danish-Nigerian star has been in brilliant form in the new season, scoring five goals in nine appearances for the Cherries, who top the Championship standings. Few months ago, Billing stated that he was considering switching his international allegiance from Denmark to Nigeria after he was not named in Denmark's squad to the 2020 European Championship.
Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand has emphasized that Billing's omission from his latest squad has nothing to do with his previous comments about playing for the Super Eagles, adding that the midfielder was considered for the last matches only for him to pull out of the roster due to illness. "You can forget all about that this summer. It's out of this world, " Hjulmand said to BT . "And I also took him to the last matches, where he unfortunately got sick before. So there is nothing in it."
Hjulmand has claimed that Billing, who is comfortable playing as a defensive and offensive midfielder, was not picked due to tactical reasons.
He pointed out that Billing is behind Brentford duo Nørgaard and Jensen, Tottenham Hotspur's Højbjerg and Sevilla's Delaney in his pecking order of central midfielders, while Chelsea's Christensen and Valencia's Wass are utility players who can fill in in central midfield. "It is not an opt-out of Philip Billing. But we have 'Nør' (Christian Nørgaard), Mathias (Jensen), Pierre (Højbjerg) And Thomas (Delaney) - and these are the ones I have chosen here. And it has given us the opportunity to get an more offensive player. "We can put Daniel Wass in centrally and we can throw Andreas Christensen up in midfield, so I think we are well covered. "So it's not an opt-out of Philip Billing, and it has nothing to do with this summer. That story is out of the world"
Billing's only cap for his country of birth was in a friendly against Faroe Islands in October 2020 How we are able to accurately predict situations like this and these players and their managers can't, is still a surprise to me. Who is deceiving or deceived billing, Eze, Olise, tomori, Abraham, tosin, etc that they will have a fair chance with some of these European countries? |

TheSuperNerd: Another day, Another Osimhen Brace plus an Osimhen special gesture to Yours sincerely
Another Commanding Center forward Performance from My Man, Victor Osimhen. Superb showing. He could have bagged a hattrick infact. He could have done better in one or two other instances of play but it's okay, there are many more games to play and more goals to come for the Monster Machine.
Lots of positives in his display. A Center Forward with Mad Presence and Dynamic movements across the lentgh and width of the final third.
Another thing to be excited for is the variety in Osimhen's goals so far. He's done the Poacher's goal, the Aerial presence Goal, the fox in the box Goal, the battering ram Goal crowned with technique....
He is a striker who will find the net via any angle or any means. Not your regular tap-in merchant Striker. Victor will give you an all round performance plus the goals. This is one of the things that stand him out and I hope he continues to improve greatly and eventually write his name into the history books of the beautiful game.
Now, away from his performance on the field (his battleground for Glory), I wanna share a little something on his "off-the-field" performance....
Folks, Ladies and Gentlemen.... it is with great pleasure and honor that I show you the gift that Our Super Eagles Number 9, Victor Osimhen sent me recently.
A day after his Europa League heroics, Osimhen got in touch with me again through an associate of his and he eventually messaged me on Sunday (3 days after his World Class display against Leicester) after I had thanked him via Instagram chats.
He sent me one of his Top Original Napoli jerseys. Yes, you read that right. An Osimhen-delivered Napoli Jersey.
It came as a huge surprise because I was just in Cloud 9 for him and smiling at all the reactions of the British media because I knew after a performance like that, those reactions were inevitable. And in the middle of all that noise and praises, one of the first things he does is to contact me and send me a Jersey with room for more ofcos.
Note: I have had it since Tuesday but I decided to wait till after today's game to finally share it because I knew he would be on the scoresheet again.
I guess He's becoming Inevitable with every moment he gets on to the pitch.
In conclusion, believe me when I say emphatically that We have a great lad in Victor Osimhen. Not just a great player in the making. But a fantastic human with a great heart, a focused mind and a passionate spirit. And I have a thing for Serious Outlier talents. Talents that are generational. This is part of why I am a strong believer in the Crazy and Madly Exciting Limitless Talents of Victor James Osimhen. The Benin Boy From Olusosun.
Further Note: For more pics and a Vid, check my twitter. NL won't permit me to load more pics. Site says it's too large.
Just wanted to share this special moment/gesture with you. Osimhen sends his love to all Naija fans as well.... Good evening y'all This is a good one from Osihmen and deservedly to you TheSupernerd, you more than deserve this. If there's a way we can get TheSupernerd to be part of NFF, he sure deserves it and BascoVanveli as part of NFL, am sure they will do wonderfully well. |

Tolulopefinest: Insigine na foolish player. He won't just pass to Osimhen. Very selfish player By now Osihmen should have comprehensive understanding of how Insigne plans. He cuts from left wing and shoots. In this case Osihmen should always prepare himself for rebound and stop waiting for a pass that will never come from Insigne. Napoli has just scored and the scorer is not known yet between Insigne and Osihmne. Modified: Osihmen has the goal. |

MetalJigsaw: Mourinho Talks Up Tammy Abraham On Switching Nationality To Play For Nigeria Owngoalnigeria
Coach of Roma Jose Mourinho says Tammy Abraham should consider a switch of nationality if he keeps up his fine form but doesn’t get a call up to the England national team.
The 23 year old has improved tremendously since making the switch to Roma with two goals, two assists in five games play so far. Roma are yet to lose a game this season with six wins in six games.
Mourinho per quotes made available to OwnGoalNigeria.com says he is working on making the forward a feared striker who can be of use to the senior national team of England for the good of the team of Gareth Southgate.
He however suggested that if he doesn’t get a look in then he should consider switching nationality to Nigeria. An option he had in 2017 but decided to pledge his international future to England after rising through their youth ranks.
“I am trying to create a monster of a forward for Southgate. Unless he doesn’t have proper eyes. Then I would suggest Tammy Abraham switch countries. He deserves more caps under his name”, he was quoted to have said.
One thing the former Chelsea coach didn’t take into consideration before making his statement is that despite the new change in nationality switch by FIFA, the forward is still ineligible to represent Nigeria. Is he still eligible? Besides we have so many options including Osihmen, Moffi, Sadiq, Onuachu |
