tbaba1234: Ezeh was named in the first team which gives him a better chance of featuring this season. Success will almost definitely make his breakthrough this season.ezeh will be 18 next year so don't expect him in portos main team after the pre-season, but i think porto has a good plan for him by giving such a great opportunity. |
tbaba1234: chidera Ezeh and Isaac Success are going to be in the first team for pre season.iheanacho and nwakali are equally going on pre-season with manchester city and should they perform well who knows, better still they can get a decent loan move. |
morale boaster, the eaglets are on the move again, let them sustain the tempo they've got our support. |
the 2009 U20 (chrisantus set) has been one of our worst, only fed the main team with 1 player (Haruna Lukman) who has not been consistent, the 2011 u20 ( Ahmed musa set) have been our best set so far feeding the super eagles with Omeruo, Onazi, Musa, Azeez and Nwofor then john obuh dissappointed most of us by bringing back some of the 2011 boy into the 2013 set instead of scouting for new talented boys, but we are still expecting players like michael olaita, henry uche agbo and possibly shehu abdullahi from the 2013 u20 to make it to the super eagles, now we have a new promising set of u20 (iheanacho set), some are saying that they shouldn't be rushed into super eagles and i ask why? the truth is that we all have our eyes on the present u20 towards 2018 World Cup, and before then we have two tournaments to prepare our team, Afcon 2015 and Afcon 2017, we all remember the squad England Paraded at the Brazil World Cup, young and highly talented but without any tournament experience and they paid heavily for it, now take Neymar and Oscar as a perfect example, brazil discovered them long ago and with 2014 World Cup in their mind started giving the Players the needed exposure despite their age, now we can all see the result, the players are playing as if this is their 3rd or even 4th World Cup, another close example is Omeruo, Onazi and Musa who had Afcon 2013 Experience, performed very well at the World Cup while their mates Azeez and Nwofor struggled a bit, they had no tournament exposure. personally i'll prefer we lose the 2015 Afcon with Alampasu, Mohammed, Ndidi, Nwakali, iheanacho, ezeh, success and perform well at the 2018 World Cup with them than Win the Afcon 2015 with Odunlami, Agbim, egwuekwe, reuben, uchebo, ameobi and perform badly at the 2018 World Cup. |
Syenite: Bro I can tell u dat the youngest crop of Eaglets/ flying eagles are the Obu and Manu's boys. Forget the Yemi Tela's boys they are a fraud.haha bro help me ask oo, do you know that diego costa is 25 years and elderson echiejile is 26? abi na my eyes dey worry me. |
olusola009: Yes, pls do u knw anytin abt dem.clap recruits almost every month, probably you applied for a program officer, hahaha, that's all tricks the truth is that they are not looking for any program officer, they will disqualify you with some kind of laughable difficult question and later ask to take the position of a volunteer (which is without salary, you work for them free of CHARGE) my advise to you is if you are close to the venue, just go and see for yourself, but if a lot of money will be involved in transportation, my brother ... ............ |
funny concept, you have ohakim to battle in the primaries, i know that will be easy win for ihedioha but the biggest challenge will be against the incumbent governor okorocha and the candidate from Apga. |
clap? you mean community life advancement project? |
LORD OVER ALL OF YOU, that is the problem with APC. |
A top brass of the Nigeria Football Federation Federation (NFF), who lead the panel that interviewed Sunday Oliseh Six years ago for the Eagles job before Amodu Shuaibu was appointed head coach has exclusively, told SL10 on the condition of anonymity that most members of the NFF are leaning towards the Ex-Eagles captain taking over from Stephen Keshi and contrary to claims by the Keshi the NFF are not persuading him to stay despite offering him a new two year deal. "It's not a secret that Sunday Oliseh is the anointed one among us at the NFF, and the reason is obvious six years ago with Keshi in attendance as well,Oliseh came out top after an interview session but we were scared of gambling on him because he has no coaching experience prior to that interview, we asked him to understudy Amodu Shuaibu but he refused" "The closest after him was then under-23 coach Samson Siasia but at that time he was preparing the Olympic team for the Beijing Olympics and we asked him to pick one as he can't combine both, he opted for the Olympic team, We had no choice than to give it to Amodu Shuaibu" "With all due respect to Keshi back then he came last in the interview among them all, but before Samson Siasia was appointed they were the only two in contention, so when Siasia failed we hired him but we still have it at the back of our mind that Sunday Oliseh will one day be our coach and there is no better time for it to come to pass than now" On claims Keshi was been persuaded to continue in his role, our source said there is no substance to his claims. "We have made our position known to Keshi two year deal with certain clauses accept it or leave it,we can't beg him or persuade him because he is not doing it for free, he gets paid for his job and if the conditions are not favourable to him we have options and Oliseh is our top choice." http://www.sl10.ng/news/articles/categories/south-africa/sunday-oliseh-in-pole-position-for-super-eagles-job/168104 |
1.5m what? you mean this particular vehi ![]() |
wow these are some of the best players in the world, france has really delt with algeria while england is dealing with nigeria the most painfull is ross backley |
@joe, but other players are also going for pre-season including isaac success, kelechi Iheanacho, chidiebere nwakali, musa yahaya and musa mohammed. |
Bros this is a great article and you really pointed at every part of the team, Let me start with THE ADMINISTRATORS: i must confess that the present NFF/ NFA ( which ever one) has done a lot to promote our brand, but they certainly need to do more to build on their success, by being a little bit professional and sincere in handling issues, i was a little sad when i heard of bonus/allowance palaver during the World Cup, but above all i give the administrators ABOVE AVERAGE and urge the to do more. THE COACHING CREW: @OP you seem to know about AMOKACHI and things his is capable of, the truth is that AMOKACHI is not a good influence to our National teams, many still do not know the dirty role he played in the removal of SIASIA, and that includes most of 94 set (ikpeba, amokachi, okocha and oliseh) which SIASIA saw earlier and said that some people were jealous of him, similarly YOBO was referring to AMOKACHI the time he had problem in the national team when he said that a particular member of the coaching crew was jealous of him, the truth is that we don't need AMOKACHI around the team again. KESHI: the best way to discribe keshi is to call him a motivator, he is not really a good tactician, if he wishes to stay i'll advise he goes for more training to update his tactics but if he wishes to go the NFF should look for a very tactical coach that is willing to make Nigeria his HOME, maybe they should take a look at that coach that took libya home base to south africa this year (that coach really knows what tactics is all about). THE PLAYERS: with 2018 not so far away we need to start building and exposing our players to major tournaments, that is why i'll like most of the u20 players to be quickly drafted into SUPER EAGLES, atleast 5 players from that team should be part of the AFCON 2015, yes they maybe preaparing for the AYC 2015 during that period but they can easily fall back, we should also be looking at young anglo-nigerian player of real quality, put them together with some of the young players from the squad that went to the World Cup and we can get a solid team. PLAYERS TO FORM THE NEW TEAM: GOALKEEPERS: VINCENT ENYAEMA (C) AUSTIN EJIDE DELE ALAMPASU (needs to learn from enyeama and ejide)and another SOLID YOUNG GOALKEEPER (needs to learn from enyeama and ejide) DEFENDERS: KENNETH OMERUO GOEFFERY OBOABONA ELDERSON ECHIEJILE JUWON OSHINIWA (impressed me at the World cup) KENNY OTIGHA ( since he has indicated interest in playing for Nigeria, maybe the officials need to take a look at his QUALITY) NDIDI WILFRED (of the u20): this guy is another OMERUO in the making, hope he lives up to expectations. MUSA MOHAMMED (of the u20): he has an over flow of morale, with the way he is going he can keep any player permanently on the bench. LEON BALOGUN (he impressed me in the match against MEXICO. MIDFIELDERS: OGENYI ONAZI MIKEL OBI (if only he can drop pride and ego) RAMON AZEEZ NOSA IGIEBOR EFE AMBROSE ( i know many will be wondering why he is not in my defence line up, the truth is that, that guy is simply wasting in that defence haven't we noticed that EFE has some tricky skill that opens up space? That guy should be our new no 10, his skills reminds me of KANU NWANKWO IFEANYI MATTHEW ( of the u20) this guy is going to be one of the biggest midfielders from Nigeria in no distant time if he continues with the way he is going. KELECHI IHEANACHO (of the u20) we already know what he is capable of all he needs to do is make a good progress at the clubside CHIDIEBERE NWAKALI ( of the u20) another good midfielder that needs to make good progress at clubside MICHAEL OLAITAN ( hope he returns from that heart problem ASAP STRIKERS VICTOR MOSES AHMED MUSA EMMANUEL EMENIKE IMOH EZEKIEL (i still do not know why he was dropped for the World Cup ISSAC SUCCESS ( of the u20) nigerian version of samuel etoo, looks like him, plays like him, dangerous like him, am suspecting samuel etoo TAIWO AWONIYI ( of the u20) nigerian version of welbeck, same playing style, long legs good ball control, works for team CHINEDU OBASI SONE ALUKO. There are still some other great players from the nigerian league. |

abatically: Again, over aged players playing as under 17. Of course they will play well and win under 17 world cup (what do u expect when 27 year olds are playing against teenagers). By the time they graduate to the super eagles (that is for those that eventually make it into super eagles), they would have already past their best (35 years old claiming to be 25). This is why we will never do well at senior level in the BIG stage.bros have you seen the new set of the u17? judging from the last set, those guys are really young players, i have not seen the new u17 though i've seen few pictures of some of them like kelechi nwakali but i believe emmanuel emuneke knows we can't take over age again. |
good test, hope the team lives up to expectations. |
let us see their manifestos first and then we can take it from their, but like you said Diamond bank has been managed very well and if Alex otti is behind it, maybe he can lead abia. abia state needs good leadership ASAP, Ihejirika managed the military very well but this is all about civil rule, he needs time to get the military blood out of his veins before coming to rule as a civilian as for ABARIBE [OTUONU] maybe he needs a rest from politics, 1999-now no be beans, but anyway he has distinguished himself in the senate and might be a good candidate for the post |
i suggest we go for that lybian coach, his is a very tactical and technical coach is not it won't be bad if we recall siasia, olise should either start with the u17 or any clubside. |
the boys tried only that onazi that was gaining possession went out injured and pogba made a mess of gabriel and mikel |
hiroz: yobo!!finally scored his traditional own goalcan you tell me how many times yobo have scored own goal? |
onazi's absense is really showing |
decent game so far, someone needs to talk to mikel SERIOUSLY, moses needs to up his game, musa has been good but should stop taking corner kicks for us, i taught moses is good in that aspect, yobo is starting to look like yobo of 2003, enyeama is super, OBSERVATION: have we ever taught about AMBROSE playing the attacking midfielder (10) role? that guy has some tricky skills that reminds me of kanu nwankwo and such skills can be a good source of creativity. |
as we watch nigeria vs france match, please i urge everyone no matter where you are in Nigeria, to be security conscious, so that the evil ones will not take advantage of the GAP. all in all i see victory for NIGERIA, no shaking. |
no chidera ezeh? what of dennis okon, the guy that played left back at the u17?. |
You don't have to blame the western countries for the unfair treatments given to african countries, we (africans, especially blacks) are the architects of our unfair treatment we always think that we are not good enough and that anything "white" is the ultimate, that is why coaches like finke of cameroun can easily get a coaching job with top african team like cameroun, we alway think they are better that is why an average african football fan will kill himself for european clubs when our local clubs are suffering from lack of followership, in all aspect of life we feel inferior to the whites that is why people bleach their skin. So don't blame the white if they decide to treat us with so much disdain, afterall we don't believe in ourselves. |
can't see chidera ezeh, is he still injured, what of okon that played left back at the u17 championship, that guy is good ooo. wish them success |
chile has a good team |
brazil on a long thing |
money matter |
serves him right, nigerian politicians are always looking for the slightest opportunity to score cheap points, propaganda everywhere, talk, talk, talk, talk with no action. |
with what happened in ekiti i fear for APC in rivers and imo, but sure they will get osun, kano but am not too sure of lagos again. |
