Look and stand at alert, when news start breaking out that people are shot then it will spread to a second Northern State then another, then Nigeria will head to a place of no return. I know the situation in KD and the ABJ is a hush hush. |
Ofunaofu:And do not forget every FCT throughout history carries special status cause that is the seat of power, hell the most special territory of all territories. That is the law. So yes, even though it carries status of a State it is very much above every other, that is why it was singled out with AND THE. |
I do not really know yet where the article is going but let me correct it by saying two-thirds of 36 is actually 24 and the Constitution still put and the FCT. So let's not try and mix up issues here to arrive at a different conclusion. Saying the FCT has no special status is out right insanity. Every nations capital throughout history has special status, argue with the Constitution not the lawyers or even law. |
Will they also send this one to front page the same as they did the other false allegations, or is it only mockery and lies against Peter Obi that Nairaland knows how to send to front page? |
Ballmer:I am not Igbo, so the joke is on you my midget friend. |
skj1377:I think you have a good point, but personally from where I am from that will be a big disadvantage and injurious to us cause I am from the "North". I do not want to share a country or even a region with the core North. For that I think let the current system continue for the meantime till we too find a bearing. Sorry, nothing's changing for now. ![]() |
eventainment:We're saying the same thing differently. |
There are many claims to this, but I have never heard a single Peter Obi supporter tag him as a 'Saviour'. Not a sign one! And considering I am in a place where Peter Obi got the overwhelming votes barely leaving some for the other candidates, I am sure of that. But I know one who has been elevated to even a 'god' status, not just a 'Saviour' now, by both online and off supporters. I've personally seen and heard many say it, and all these are from the Yorubas. There are many older leaders still worth celebrating, emulating and eulogizing in the North, the South East, ND, MB. People worth listening to. But I see the South West seems to be on a mission throwing off their elders of old who've really came through for the people, and that is influenced by propaganda and greed of a few. Not even Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Murtala Muhammad, Tafawa Balewa, Ojuku and other heros of past or even Obasanjo, Buhari, Edwin Clark, Yakubu Gowon etc, and all those still alive and worth eulogizing have ever been referred to as gods. And these are people who literally and directly touched and changed lives and shook the foundations of our country, even made good names abroad. Yet Tinubu, the locally and internationally known shady and blurry character. Who've not touched the life of anyone without asking for ten times as much in return, whose only national footprint is helping to bring in the biggest catastrophe ever recorded in Nigeria's known history, who has established and legitimised a system of total idleness, ignorance, joblessness, cluelessness, violence and thuggery among South Western youths and destroyed any semblance of real democracy built on the ability and power of the people to decide their leaders themselves instead by a godfather, kingmaker, cabal and a few very curropt and selfish elites. Is one being deified and exalted to high heavens. They call him Asiwaju, they shout to him as 'the Jagaban', and they seem to exalted him and even call him a 'god'! But is he worth that status, is he worth such exaltation and is that kind of character one the entirety of the South West want emulated and seen as there face and sole representation? When a people begin to do that, when the person being done that to is one of such repulsive and abysmal personality and character as Tinubu, definitely not worth emulating for personal or collective good but absolute selfish and self-serving intents, then you know the people are on a new low.

Reading the his case and I feel ashamed of myself as a Nigerian. Are we so used to crime and criminals that we aren't even bothered by a known money launder and drug baron? The case was in the US Courts cause you can see everything put down there. |
eventainment:If sex is the only thing a man want from a woman then she should be ashamed of herself cause she is seen as no more than a prostitute. |
IyaebeTheGreat:They look 'cheap' now cause all they want is shift your dirty pant. When it's time for you to get serious then they will be the most invaluable creation. Wait and see. |
skj1377:So you're okay with an internationally known criminal drug baron as President cause it was 'years ago'? |
No bigger shame than Tinubu to Nigeria, no bigger disgrace than eulogizing him as a god by the South West. Yoruba Ronu! |
Natbrowny:You can get man's money without getting or even liking the man. But you can not like a man's tool without getting him or liking him. Knowledge 101. And why's the post so long about such a simple topic, is it an autobiography? |
I was at the gym the other day with a guy, I was working out while the guy was divided in mind with his phone. After some time the guy called me to see something on his phone, what I saw almost got me weak and I was lifting heavy weights so such distractions are very dangerous. I saw a guy and a lady hitting it up and it was very intense video, she was riding and slamming like her life depends on it. I removed my eyes immediately to avoid distractions cause that is one of the rules I personally learned in the gym, never get stimulated. Guess what? That guy is a Yoruba. Very hor'ny species of people. Stay around the average Yoruba person and that is the majority of the things they talk about, sex sex and women. Shameful! |
limeta:That's another big question. |
Lifestone:There's no bigger prove than the one presented to you, if you can't see it then not even a video of them together in a foreign hotel will you believe. His supporters know that much, that's why they have to always remind us "they own the courts!" They even have to tell us it is them who "gave" Adeleke his victory. Well it really seems so. |
Jostoman:Okay ma! |
Ofunaofu:There's no denying that. This is a sitting Chairman of a supposed independent section of the arm of government going to meet a common citizen, how much more when he becomes a nation's ruler? |
ezegold4we:That is why no sane and normal person should allow such broad daylight sham stand. This is existential! |
Throwback:Elections are not over till the people agree it is and settle for it cause they are suppose to decide. There is no winner cause it isn't over and the people's choice certified. There's no winner if the rules are not met, and if the rules can be changed from person to person then that is no rule and that is what breeds anarchy in a society. You never gave Peter Obi anything to want it back. |
Jostoman:Oga Jonsen man, if this issue is not important enough then there's absolutely nothing worth talking about. If you think we've moved on then you and anyone thinking that deceive themselves. These are existential topics, you might not know now till later. |
When I see a news from the Peoples Gazette (that's where I first saw the news) I first of all believe half of it before I go on to confirm its authenticity. I don't deny or wave it off at first glance, those people can be very accurate. When the news of the Supreme Court Judge came out the people from the other end made up all stories under heaven to deny and try to rubbish the report for days. They lambasted the news outlet and continue, as always, to try and rubbish the website. And they made up many stories with "proves" too! When it became clear to the blind and deaf that it was true he left Nigeria on a wheelchair and was pictured, after trying briefly to deny the evidence but without tangible progress, they took a new turn and admitted but quickly spin the entire reality. This event has made me remember the report of the INEC chairman going to Lagos to meet with Tinubu in the dead of night. It's a trend, and because there is no prove of the INEC chairman's movement it was swept off in a hush hush. Well that is until after the elections and few now realize the truth in the "rumours". The entire Europe is not that big of a continent, the Western part especially, almost like going from one State to another in the South, only faster and smoother. UK to France is even closer. Don't be fooled, they have the money, they have the resources. Just like Tekno said, he charges his phone their, though a hype. But not them, that is their reality. But my biggest concern is that the way we are seeing black and are made to believe it's white by the media propagandists and public spin doctors is very very damaging to self. It affects the conciousness of the masses and causes the majority to be mentally docile and intellectually lacking. They're damaging our ability to reason and process common sense. Perfect example is the twenty five percent FCT votes saga, which is a simple and basic English turned rocket science and quantum mechanics equations, even though it has already been interpreted by the same Supreme Court few years ago. Laws are changing, basic English is being redefined and video and pictures are turning obsolete. Our minds and the society is at risk here and it's all at the expense of a single person's ambition and burning desire, tied to a ginormous ego with plenty money to go round and the ability to also spend it.

habsydiamond:Lol. This one still funny. He confidently closed it even with the outcry against it. Supported by same people supporting Tinubu today, they said it will boost local production encourage SMEs and bring prices of goods down in the long run. Today it is confirmed that absolutely not a single policy of Buhari and his administration has produced the minutest inkling of positive output, not one. How can one individual be so woeful and an abysmal failure? Even the fight against corruption he has made sure that corruption has surged to the highest. Now, the same people that have been defending and urging him on are the exact same people glamoring another total and even bigger disaster, cause he share a language, religion with them. They think of him and have even started refering to him as a god. How degenerate?! |
habsydiamond:Baba to put them all in writing is a big task only a paid hand can do. The fact we expect something manageable out of the person is a big sucker punch on us all. |
Really the topic should be 'Nigerian Agencies Still Fully Operational Under Buhari'. But that topic will say a different thing from the post so here goes. Thing is, you can not expect a person to give what he doesn't have. Sadly that is exactly what we expected of Muhammadu Buhari. The controversies surrounding Buhari's secondary school certificate (WAEC) was an important and prophetic one, which if we had taken seriously we would not have arrived at the point we are now in as a nation. The lack and inability of Buhari to provide his WAEC certificate ushered us to the predicament we're in today. Buhari's administration has killed.... The Judiciary Legislator News and Information Media CBN INEC Education Production Security Forces etc. (Too long a list) Bonus: National Identity Intelligence and common sense Nationality and Patriotism I mean, you can look your left and right and truthfully can not deny seeing the hand of Buhari at work in the destruction of something. Except the NBC. This is the most empowered and even swift active agency of the Buhari Administration. For information suppression and propaganda. "Kill" in the sense if this post doesn't mean they're no more operational. It simply means they have become one sided and have lost any sense of credibility, accountability and positive image for required and expected services. They've lost all trust from the masses! No bigger death from a government arm. Buhari has set the bar so low, brought the scale to an abysmal low level that it is definitely getting even worse from here. You can not expect a person so woeful to conduct an election and even hand over to someone better. Don't! A bad tree can not produce good fruit. And so we see an even more questionable, abysmal character and reputation deficient, international criminal and divisive entity in the person of Tinubu. And we thought we can't get any lower, but there seems to be a new low always! Buhari is bad, say hello to Tinubu. Say hello to a bigger, boastful and never-do-wrong bully Nigeria will ever see! And a section see him as a "god" too.

Chude was released on Friday afternoon after spending seven days in detention. The detained supporter of the Labour Party, Nnamdi Chude, has been released from the Nigerian Police custody. Chude was released on Friday afternoon after spending seven days in detention. He was arrested by the Cyber Crime Unit of Interpol and taken to Abuja on the evening of Saturday, March 18, for allegedly likening the Governor Charles Soludo-led government to the administration of former governor, Chinwoke Mbadinuju. While the State House of Assembly election was going on in the state on Saturday, Chude tweeted that thugs allegedly operating under the directive of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) - Governor Soludo's political party, were on a rampage, snatching ballot boxes and disrupting elections in 3'3 and Awada areas of the state. After the tweet, he was reportedly arrested at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday by security operatives in Onitsha and swiftly taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka from where he was taken to Abuja .... https://businessday.ng/news/article/police-release-chude-nnamdi/ https://saharareporters.com/2023/03/24/detained-labour-party-supporter-nnamdi-chude-released-nigerian-police-after-seven-days https://fij.ng/article/just-in-nnamdi-chude-released-from-police-custody/

anyilalaz:Deliberate mischievous oversight and poor and fear induced journalism. It didn't elude anyone, but when you have Peter Obi on the ballot who want to ask or hear anything about the rest? No fact checking for any of the rest. |
SpecialAdviser:Do you know that Tinubu's name is mentioned in the Pandora and Panama Papers? I have been quiet and seeing these people talk about these issues but the thing is, while Peter Obi has investments mentioned there, Tinubu is mentioned there for that and even many more like fraudulently buying and owning properties with government money. Go read the papers. Tinubu is the actual biggest criminal in Nigeria today, nobody comes close. I will write about that soon. |
kalvoken:Both the statements are actually right. |
Canniggia:Boil very hot water and put in all areas of the foam, I think hat will do good. Then put it outside to dry. |
