PoliticsRe: Naira To Cfa Franc Exchange Rate Now Very Terrible by LocalStandard1(m): 2:03pm On Aug 12, 2023
BoldBrainz:
OP,
with all due respect, you're lying!

I am a Cross Riverian who has done plenty business across the borders of Cameroon, all the way into Douala and even had a brief stint in the capital city of Yaounde. I currently operate from Abuja and still conduct business with acquaintances in Cameroon. The last transfer I received was on Tuesday this week through the Orange funds exchange. The 21,000 francs I received translated to 19,700 naira. That means the naira still holds an edge over the francs.

Agreeably, about 5 weeks ago, the naira and the francs found a balance, then the francs leapfrogged naira by a small margin, but that disparity only lasted for about a week.

We all agree that the economy is in a terrible state, but please stop peddling lies to the reading public just to court sensationalism. I don't like Tinubu and his governance style, but I detest when people create facades of intended deceit.
With all due respect it is you who is lying. I just checked it and the exchange rate is close to what he's saying. Even the Zimbabwean currency we love to put down is two times better than the Naira.

Drop your bigotry and political affiliation and start telling yourselves the truth, Nigeria is sinking. Don't be a lying ignoramus just to prove a false point!

It was because Islam stopped Africans from sharing knowledge with Europe about 1600 years ago when Islam was introduced in North African.

Africa now has 1600 years of catching up to do.
You definitely know nothing about this topic of discuss or the history thereof, this one is not for you.
PoliticsMain Reasons Africa Remains Underdeveloped by LocalStandard1(op): 7:17am On Aug 12, 2023
1- When the Europeans came to enslave Africa they used Africans to steal fellow Africans and sell to them. My grand mother used to tell us stories of how in times past the Hausas used to fight and kidnap our people in Kaduna and many middle Belt areas to be used or sold as slaves. She used to tell us how wicked the so called Queen Amina who's idolized today was. How many so called 'Hausas' today are actually Northern minorities who've been conquered and converted to Islam, more like the Yorubas of Ilorin and Co.
How many bodies of our people are used and can be found between the walls of Zazzau(Zaria).

Our wickedness to each other and lack of empathy and unity and the inability to see the likeness and humanity in each other at any given time is the first and main reason for Africa's underdevelopment.
We are desperately jealous and wicked to the next person.

2- Perpetual Inferiority Complex. I used to hear people talk about how amazing and incredible the Caucasians and Asians are and how they're better because they have better minds. My story.....

I know in order for me to be extraordinary I need to see myself as capable of anything and nobody better than me just for being born different. So while in School in Kaduna State, we used to hear how Yorubas and Igbos are more intelligent, I refused to take that submission. We were constantly being sent home for inability to pay school fees but we still did our best and the principal told me many times how intelligent I am and how far I would have gone if only we could pay school fees and remain in school.

I used the same formula in everything and I discovered "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", intellectually and physically outperforming in any field I am passionate about. Then I discovered the secret these other races have that we as a people hasve lost. Focus, consistency, persistency, passion and dedicating yourself to that specific goal till you summount.

If we as Africans most progress and begin to excel first there most be UNITY, we most begin to see one another not in the prism of TRIBE or RELIGION but as individual humans capable of doing good. Then we most see ourselves as having the capability and ability to be the best at anything we set our minds to, not seeing the Asians our Caucasians as being better than us in anything.

We most change the way we see one another and we most change our character. We most not measure our worst with them but continue to seek to be miles better than they could ever dream about. We most stop running from problems but go at it head on

Secondly, since I was a teenager I have always been fascinated by the Chinese culture ad the Russian spirit. I am a traditional person, if at all I want to leave Nigeria for another country if it is not another African country then it is one of those two you mentioned.
I have nothing in common with a degenerate country or society.

That is not for you to define or exert cause when you force democracy on a people who don't want or need it that is no democracy and you are hypocrites.

You don't get to say who's a dictator if the majority want him and you don't get to mention a military "coup" when you support a civilian coup.

Those who sold democracy to you and define who a "dictator" is attacked a country more than a decade ago and it never remained the same, while partnering with monarchies that they themselves claim to oppress women.

No to war

Democracy is not by force
When some people shout 'democracy' I just shake my head. I have never heard a more overstated term like that word.

What is "democracy"? Does even the West like USA practice it as it should be? A British organization conducted a research and discovered that the USA is actually an oligarchy where a few groups and organizations control decisions, decisions that many atimes are rejected by the people.

Everyone can define democracy just as it interests them, democracy in the UK is different from democracy in the US, Saudi Arabia has never known democracy in its entire history but is one of the biggest Western partners.

The West does not consider China, Russia a democracy but today China is the biggest economy in the world and Russia has the biggest GDP per capita in Earope. Nigeria practices the American style "democracy" but do you sincerely believe this is a democracy? Is it really?

With this war Nigeria will never be accepted to BRICS, its application will be rejected, maybe no African country aside South Africa who's already a member and maybe Ethiopia. The world will keep moving forward while Africa is left behind, again.
PoliticsNow That NATO Has Set Its Eyes On West Africa What Next? by LocalStandard1(op): 6:55pm On Aug 11, 2023
To put it simply it is West Africa's time to taste the beauty of war.

As the Russia/Ukraine war seems to be in a deadlock, NATO countries are exhausted and most are already in a recession while Russia, the same country that was sanctioned and expected to collapse has essentially become the biggest economy in Earope based by PPP as announced by the World Bank.
https://orinocotribune.com/world-bank-establishes-russia-as-leading-economy-in-europe/

The West/NATO meeting their match for the first time in its history and realizing they're fighting a lost war, have turned their eyes back to Africa, not Libya now but West Africa. This is the trick, just as they used to do, they've returned back to bullying and destabilizing weak and developeing nations in collaboration with neighboring puppet governments.

NATO has been demistified, the West and America have been exposed in the open and the world can now see how fragile and weak they really are. Now countries want to join BRICS, smaller countries are aligning and making military pacts with Russia. People are dumping the dollars, even traditionally western aligned countries and small countries alike are becoming bold and fearless.

The West are coming back to their seemly eternal cash cow. The dollars might crash, western influence around the world might wane, but Africa, their ever inexhaustible cash cow most never slip from their hands. The world has now seen that they need Africa more than it need them, the world is seeing that they survive off of Africa. Slavery to finance their industry age, colonialism to finance their technology age. We are entering a new age now, they no longer can hide their "interests" in Africa.
We now know who sponsors instability and terrorism in Africa.

But the best way to subjugate and keep Africa down is using the same method they've always used even during slavery, get the Africans to do their dirty job.
NATO is now in West Africa, this is the new field where blood will be shed.

One might know when to start a war but nobody under heaven can say when and how it ends. Like vampires they will sink their fangs in our throats and theirboots on our lands, and they will get what they want cause they always do.
PoliticsA New Country Is Forming In West Africa And It Will Shake The World by LocalStandard1(op): 7:58am On Aug 11, 2023
There is a wave going on in Africa, something is being born around us and I find it surprising and strange that Nigeria is asleep and clueless about it.

Firstly lets go to East Africa. The nations of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South South, Rwanda, Congo, Burundi are already in talks and are already planning to form a single country which boarders will literally cut across Africa. When it happens this will automatically leap them to the position of the 'Giants of Africa', this time a true giant in many spheres comprising of some of the fastest growing economies in the world.

But if you've been following at list the coup in Niger Republic maybe you most have seen a new gang-up happening right around Nigeria with our neighbors. Mali, Borkina Faso, Guinea and maybe soon even Niger Republic are in talks to form a new Confederation. Yes, they are planning on coming together as a single country, and maybe more are to join later on.

This was said from the horse's mouth himself, Captain Ibrahim Traore, the President of Borkina Faso. Say whatever you want but after listening to him and observing the mood and the atmosphere around Africa I will tell you African countries are literally waking up and they are shaking off the West away from them real quickly and really strongly.

Leaders, younger and visionary leaders are literally springing up boldly and fearlessly all around Africa and are chatting new paths, different paths for themselves and their people. Literally all round Black Africa and are movements that's only comparable with the fight for independence of the 1900s of African countries. Looking at the contributions of Russia and China I will say history is being repeated.

You see, I am Nigerian but I will tell you I am beginning to pay more attention to happenings and developments around Africa than anything in Nigeria itself, and there are seriously big initiatives that's cracking and shaking the West in all spheres.

I believe as things continue like this ten years from now Nigeria will be left out, it is already happening, Nigeria will be dwarved by even the most average country in Africa.

The dollars is shaky, Western countries are insecure and uncertain about their future with the continues rising inflations and recessions, people in the 'Global South' are literally turning their backs on Western countries and abandoning them to their vices. Russia seems to single handedly be shaking the entire NATO and building an army of supporters and sympathizers all around the world while giving more countries, even smaller ones the boldness to face even America to it face and tell them off. The BRICS aliance is sweeping nations and gathering the entire developing nations to themselves, while countries are steadily abandoning the dollars, pounds and Euros, even the French President Macron is pleading to join the Union but turned down.

Empires rise and fall, nations grow to the moon and still collapse, less than a hundred years ago it was Britain, yesterday it was the USA, the world is changing right in front of us. But what is Nigeria really doing to take advantage of this fine opportunity?I can't see anything!!!

Nigeria and West Africa will never be the same again after it attacks Niger Republic.
PoliticsHow Nigeria Would Have Turned Out If Colonized By The French by LocalStandard1(op): 7:51am On Aug 11, 2023
A few years ago I entered a series of conversations with an ex Nigerian military person, we used to talk extensively about how the West are the major reason for Africa's underdevelopment. He would tell me a series of examples but I used to have a sense of inferiority complex about myself as an African and Black, I used to think the major problem is definitely us and the Caucasians, being superior, are always right. To a decree we are the cause of our problems but to a large extent not so much.

Have you ever wondered why the West and the Caucasians do not seem to ever leave Africa alone? Slavery, colonialism, neocolonialism, hegemony, imperialism! They NEED us far more than we ever needed them, the Arabs are only an extention of the West.

HOW NIGERIA WOULD HAVE TURNED OUT IF COLONIZED BY THE FRENCH.

1. Nigeria would have had no local currency, instead we would be using a French made and French controlled and minted CFA.

2. Nigeria would not have owned its oil and all other natural resources, instead the French would have the 'right of first refusal'. Meaning any resources discovered in Nigeria would first of all be exploited by the French then anything they deemed unwanted can be given to the people.

3. Any project or infrastructural development or contract in Nigeria most first of all be strutinized by the French and its company, if the French company don't want to take on the contract then it can be handed over to other countries or companies.

4. All foreign reserves of Nigeria most go to French banks to be kept their.

5. Nigeria can not access its foreign reserves in French banks till approved by the French government.

6. Nigeria can only access 20 percent of its foreign reserves in a year.

7. The foreign reserve to be accessed by Nigeria from France will be given to Nigeria as AID or loans to be paid with interest.

8. Nigeria can only be aligned with the French and any war France is involved in it can recruit Nigeria to fight on its side.

9. The flow of CFA and how much of the currency is minted to be sent to Nigeria will be decided by France.

10. Nigeria can borrow money from other countries or establishments only when approved by France.

11. French officials will be involved with any economic policy Nigeria undertakes.
There are many more agreements to be signed between Nigeria and France that I can't remember now.
That would have been the future of Nigeria. In that case can Nigeria be said to be really independent?

Do you know why about all economic policies the IMF, world Bank etc gives Nigeria always ends badly? Do you know that the IMF, WB and loans they give to African countries have interest rates way higher than they give fellow western countries, and Chinese loans have about fives less interest rate than the West and its establishments? Don't take it from me let President Ruth of Kenya and former Nigerian vise President Yemi Osibanjo tell you.

Africa is still under corporate slavery and colonialism.

Africa most be free!! The Black Man will be called king of the world again, he shall be revered, respected, admired and the people of the world will call him the most favoured and most blessed. The African child shall never know pain or hunger, he shall carry on the cultures and image of true, decent, moral human, he shall be the most exceptional and oustanding.
The tears, struggles and prayers of all the millions and millions of the African people and the blood shed thereof shall not be wasted, we will put the Arabs and the Caucasians to immense shame. We shall better the Asians in all spheres by far, we shall support our own and help and go out our way to help our brethren up when they're down. We shall not hence forth betray our brothers, scheme and sabotage them.
No longer shall other races belittle, laugh or put us down. We shall purge tribalism, religious and ethnic jingoism from us. We shall speak different languages but be forever united by the most important of all, our identity as Black's and as Africans for that is no coincidence, we are blood Brothers.

Those who stand in the way off the progress and freedom of the Black African and their descendants shall be put to shame be exposed for the world to laugh at them.

As you can see all Yorub/SW people are against Niger and its people today, they wish them death, they wish them destruction, they wish them total poverty and suffering but all for what really? Why so much and so sudden desdain for what a people of another country aspire for themselves?

Do you know that uptil now the Francophone countries are still subjugated and colonized? Do you know why Francophone African countries are the the poorest in the world? Do you not know that progress and success of your neighbor is contagious and transferable even to you?

Do you not know the modern day slavery Africa still is under the paled-skin person, the desdain, hate, repulsion, bad intentions towards us?

I am a Christian from Southern Kaduna, this fight is neither cause of religion, tribe or politics, it is for the liberation of all Africa and the Black people from centuries and centuries of steady subjugation, slavery, colonialism, neocolonialism, mockery, oppression, racism, stealing, killings, sabotage and destructions of all Africa and Blacks.

According to Anadolu Agency, the caretaker government, addressed itself as the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Country, as the was read by Gen. Abdourahmane Tchiani, the former commander of Niger’s presidential guard, who declared himself the head of a transitional government.

Zeine, 58, served as finance minister under Mamadou Tandja, who led the country from 1999 to 2010 after its return to civilian rule.

He currently serves as the African Development Bank’s Country Manager for Chad and previously served at the same institution and position in Ivory Coast and Gabon.

According to the decree, Zeine is expected to lead consultations for the formation of a new government.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is to hold another emergency summit on Thursday in Nigeria to address the political crisis in Niger after the military leaders ignored its ultimatum to cede power.

On Monday, the US State Department said it made direct contact with the coup leaders and had stressed the need to reinstate Bazoum and for Niger to revert to its “constitutional order.”

Bazoum was detained by members of the Presidential Guard on July 26, who later that evening announced the government takeover.

Maybe unbiased and honest academic studies need to be done into this topic cause it may have never occurred through time. It might tell us how society will be structured and how these women navigate.
RomanceThe Interesting, Unavoidable Trap Modernity Has Set For Women by LocalStandard1(op): 9:12pm On Aug 08, 2023
This topic is one very interesting and important maneuver in probably the whole of modern history. I would really like if all women especially ponder on this, although I personally do not write about the affairs of women but this one is interesting.

There is some kind of natural selection going on now before our eyes that a lot may not realize. Someone made a topic advising women of between 30-45. Another person, Pansophist, gave us a clearer view of polygamy. Well I have come to the realization that women are and will continue to be the biggest loosers of the modern setting and trajectory of society. Let me explain....

Men used to marry at the the age range of 21-26 maybe about fifty years ago, to women in the ages of 17-23. Now as times went on and things continue change the ages of marriage for both continued to rise. The average man today marries from the ages of 30-40 and normally they go for younger women of about 20-28. Average is the keyword here.

I have come to understand that the unmarried women in those ages of 30 upwards who should have been paired with the men of their time are not finding any and the numbers only continue to rise cause by the time those men today are ready to settle down at 30- 40 the women are already old for them so they go for the younger women.

Conclusion- I have the believe that nature might actually be pushing the millennial women off of history, that is wiping an entire generation of women off. As time and age persists and the world continues to change even further I believe humanity might be going through a biological and historical jomp. A systematic and automatic genocide.

We used to find it surprisingly to discover that women in their thirties and forties are not married, now it is just a norm. I think the next 10-20 years will be even more interesting and the gap and number will be really obvious by then. There is going to be an even bigger army of single unmarried old women in society.

This is the first time we might be seeing this in the entire history of man cause throughout all human history societies and civilizations all around the world have always had a uniform system so as everyone fits in, until now.

This is just an observation of mine.

We most begin to open ourselves as young African people and question opinions, intentions and live styles even behaviors in the society we find ourselves. We as young people most begin to actively contribute to the betterment of our society by actions, words and character, no matter how miniscule.

I will be unapologetic in this writing as I address and challenge Slawomir and his views.

Slawomir made a statement in a post about two masquerades fighting, he said in part....
"Religion in general makes you dull

" Christianity, religion and God is an embarrassing human practice of convincing the mind to ignore common sense, logic, reason and evidence while blindly believing in ancient fairy tales. It encourages its followers to value faith over facts and reality. It makes its followers proud instead of being ashamed of thier ignorance"
You see, first of all there is nothing wrong with a people expressing themselves in their CULTURE and TRADITIONS, Asia is far ahead of Africa yet they still maintain their culture, traditions and beliefs, so is other Middle Eastern countries that you know. And for the record, Asians too have their own masquerades together with festivals.

Slawomir said 'religion in general makes you dull' and [s]'It makes its followers proud instead of being ashamed of their ignorance'[/s] Laughable coming from someone who is a proud and glorified fra*dster, someone who encourages robbery, prostitution, scam and many other ills of society.

Slawomir is he who finished the University but can't keep or create a job for self and community instead dived into glorified crime and encourages the stealing of resources of well meaning and hardworking members of society, who toil and soil just to make ends meet and when they gather just enough to start something so as to grow and also benefit their locale or when they decide to trust and find a genuine relationship, people like him step in to shatter trust, individuals, family and society.

How many people have been the victim of fraudulent activities and siphoning of others' wealth? How many more have lost their lives and continue to loose their lives cause of someone like Slawomir and co. who are on the streets and the internet space? What is the difference between said individual and corrupt, thieving politicians who a few of us vehemently despice?

RELIGION? That is the back bone of a progressive and lasting society, we can see it throughout history, but we can also confirm that without which we see the degeneration of the Western society and countries and the gradual but surely transfer of wealth from the developed to the developing societies and countries. It was America that used to proclaim "in God we trust" and "God's own country". Yes, the USA and the West were built on Christian values, used to be based on Christian tenets, by Christian founding fathers who built what we know as the "Western countries" today.

If Slawomir was so intelligent and bright as he wants to be perceived he would have been a law abiding, honorable, productive, and admirable member of society, encouraging and pushing for the growth and good of humanity and society, not a glorified online swindler. How sure are we that his online persona is also not a fraud?

Should we not as intelligent, honorable and efficient humans strive for the growth of our society and country and be real models thereof? Or should we glory and take pride in being pollutants and nonchalant degenerates?
Maybe it is not Religion that is the problem but personal character and intents!

But Slawomir, what really is intelligence?

Yoruba Muslims have sworn to paint Igbos as the black sheep of Nigeria, but I promise them bro that they have already failed.
Their fake patriotism about Nigeria is simply because Buhari helped their criminal druggie Tinubu to become illegitimate President, if Tinubu didn't win, you would have known how much these Yoruba political criminals parading themselves as fake progressives under APC would have disdained Nigeria.
We Igbos have their medicine and they know it. The last Presidential election ought to have opened Yoruba Muslims eyes that the rest of Nigerians (especially Middlebelt and Niger Delta) they used to deceive with painting Igbos as demons using their Lagos-Ibadan expressway newspapers of the old have come to realize that Igbos are the only tribe standing for the truth without fear persecution.
Very correct!

Did you say the bold regarding Ukraine or you made excuses like your other gangs?
When Trump was in charge, you were a darling of America but now you want West to hands off Africa.
Typical Ipob member.
I have a textbook full of reply for you, even videos, but since you call me an Ipob I understand who is talking and know you will not comprehend what your brain can not carry.

Due to Igbophobia, they always fight against anything Igbos appear to be in support of, and support anything Igbos are against. The most ridiculous aspect of it is that they don't even apply common sense while at it.

Igbos have shown to be pragmatic and rational most times. They're against any military intervention in Niger and any right thinking person also know it doesn't make sense. So, I won't be surprised if they become hell-bent on going ahead now it's clear Igbos are against it. But it's the Hausas and North that has everything to lose, and not even Ebola. So, if the North allows him to use their heads in breaking coconuts, they will also suffer the consequences.
Mark my words today, the invasion of Niger Republic for what doesn't concern us but only to show 'NATO' and 'giant' of Africa will be the first step in the undoing of this country. It will start slow and go on for years and then Nigeria will finally crack.

Go and fight, you're not fighting Igbos or even the Nigerien military, you are fighting the people of Niger and a majority of Africans.

South Westerners are really very ignorant and st*pid people indeed.

It’s true that there are cracks in Nigeria
But the president bleeped up, he should have immediately ordered his troops to dislodge the coupist in a matter of hours all this would’ve been over, the coupist arrested, the president returned and the peace and normalcy restored
But he wasted a lot of time consulting and comparing
The time he wasted made him look weak and made the ecowas look like a child’s play
Imagine mail and Burkina Faso threatening Nigeria a whole giant
Omo the president bleeped up big time
Only a fool and ignorant madman will invade an independent and sovereign country for a popular undoing in their country, especially one supported by the majority. Nigeria is st*pid, it is not a giant of anything, calm down and feed your people first cause I am hungry here. F*ck the West, they should hands off Africa.
PoliticsRe: This Is The End Result Of The Instigation Against The Igbos by LocalStandard1(op):
South Westerners are very known to be Western lovers so they are very comfortable being eternal slaves and puppets, reason why the average Yoruba is more likely to 'japa' to western countries in droves compared to the Igbos who are more likely and predominant in Asia and Southern countries even other African countries.

The world is separated into mainly two, the global North and Global South, the West and the East, the liberal and conservative, the developed and developing. South westerners are more likely to go to the first aligned countries cause of their fascination for all things west, while South Easterners are more predisposed to the latter for their business, building and ability to see and make use of new and developing opportunities, with the fact Igbos are more conservative, which is a trait more among Asia and the global South.

The East, global South are where the real market and the future lies, these countries are where you really become wealthy if you have ideas. Igbos and even Hausas seem very different but both share many things in common like conservatism, morals and values, very different sides of the same coin.

Supporting Niger Republic is now an African and global thing, much of the global South and even very plenty of the average citizens of the West are in support of the liberation of Africa. It has gone beyond tribe and is now for the Black race and humanity at large.

So Yorubas and Igbos-haters calm down and ronu, it's not all about your ass*s.
