burp18:I see where you're going. I will not answer you again. If you want my attention make a post relating to your questions and tag me. Or you open your argument with proves to back your discuss. |
jagaban002:Except you are very close to the person as your moniker, you and I are the same. So you are not fighting or mocking me, you're doing it to yourself. We are the same in this, well except we're not. |
burp18:What you're doing is you're arguing in a basket, there's holes in your talk everywhere. If the Presidential is not to be considered a free fair elections is it the Governorship that will? Along with many more. But this topic is a simple one with simple instructions, show me celebratory videos of your street or state about the outcomes of the elections as we are seeing in Abia State. That is how to open your argument. |
What we're seeing is the enshrinement, firm rooting and solidification of the elite and the people in power to even more power at the expense of the masses. There's high level disdain and irritation from those in power to the Nigerian masses. They loathe us to the extreme people!!! You might have begin to notice it from Buhari's statements, "Nigerians are lazy" and "the youths are jobless criminals", he submits, in foreign lands. Then the End SARS Protests came and it became a race and a struggle between they and the Nigerian people. There's no hiding it anymore as it is. The only time we the people have any semblance to power and any feeling of victory is during elections, now even that has been yanked off of us and we're left like common passerbys and onlookers in own country. Now they've shown their utter repulsion towards us by the SELECTION they conducted and tag elections. "We most win this...." They say, "else we'll be laughed and ridiculed! They did, win. And as they celebrate their wins in their rooms Nigeria is left with mournings and heavy hearts in the streets. Well except one Nigerian State! This is about the only State you would find celebrations in the streets and in houses to an almost absolute. Abia State is the model of what it is for the people's choice to prevail. I dare say so! But before you argue this, show me one State that matches or outdo Abia State in joy and relieve for the outcome of the dragged on, multi Billion Naira worth SELECTIONS. That is how to start the argument isn't it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNs8AHkMuWo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Axt3Nd-wM9I&t=209s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QkZO8Zs2z0 |
Sometimes you forget what it means to celebrate a political victory! |
raskymonojendor:Your English proves the state of the Yorubas. |
ElSudani:Give evidence to prove otherwise since you disagree. |
ElSudani:That there is why I try to avoid like-yous. You people bend topics and discussions to fit a small minded narrative. What makes you think "everybody is moving to the SW"? The highest is Lagos and even that has slowed down over the years. Are not the SW too struggling to leave their States and region? You people talk as if all Yorubas are only in the their "good old" SW. That is very small minded my friend! As for the write-up, the referenced post was made by a fellow Yoruba. You wouldn't know cause you don't want to and suppress any reason. |
Vote4Obi:That is an artificial body colouring called henna, for beautification. |
BeardedmeatR:That is not bleaching oh! That is a kind of decoration called henna. |
ObalaEmma:I think you're right even though I don't get your entire write-up. My uncle relocated to Lagos around that year, he learned Yoruba in only some months or about a year. I personally was learning Yoruba from a neighbor some years ago, and I have never set foot in the SW. My most impressive Yoruba word was Beni (spelling might be wrong though). Many Yoruba say it a lot in Kaduna when talking. Now, I don't give a sh*t about learning it, not interested. Not that I hate anyone but do not really have any zeal or need for it. |
Goodmarlian:Baba I only took the map from the original source oh. But I will change it, the person that put it is a Yoruba but is also the writer of my referenced post. Atleast that proves it was made by a core Yoruba. |
ObalaEmma:Baba just like for the Igbos today, I personally used to carry Yoruba matter for head like gala. Sorry to say but I used to despise the Igbos, again, sorry to say. Now I am considered an Igbo cause of my trajectory. Thing is, the wise and enlightened will only align and learn from the best and where he thinks he will grow better from. The Igbos have done it even after not being close to power for more than half a century. That is more than any major tribe in Africa (I wrote about it). Non come close! |
ElSudani:Normally I don't ever bother reading off of like yous or even responding. But since this is about you I will indulge you. I am from a minority tribe, from Kaduna State. Personally I am good with patterns, I see a pattern growing among the Yoruba. I know cause I leave the experience, you wouldn't cause you don't and continue to suppress any reason. I personally used to admire and hold the Yoruba in high regard cause I used to think them as the model for learning, everywhere around Nigeria used to. Scratch that! Notice the trend, Nigerian minority tribes now are more gradually gravitating towards the East. It is a subconscious trend and mindset but still happening. There is something going on that many can not explain or even notice, but it's there. That is what the post is talking about. |
heniford2:It is more than the Eko State. It is about a once impressive tribe and their now chase for shadows. That is what I continue to try to demonstrate in words. |
Built2last:Thing is, if you look beyond the insecurities you see a people struggling for survival. But why and what will make one of the most populated tribe in Africa be struggling for survival? That is what that post and even mine try to shed light into. |
I used to admire and learn from the Yorubas, used to see them as the beacon worth emulating. So you can imagine the bewilderment when people assume I am Igbo cause of how much and how I write about them. But you can only learn from the best, the most capable. Success of a group goes beyond making music and dancing in parties, even on that the Igbos are also doing well. When the face of a group and the most admired person held in the highest regard is person of such questionable and abysmally shady character, in the person of Tinubu, you know the society, group, tribe is indeed in a downward spiral. |
For days now and maybe even weeks I have scratched my head in the night before bed, scratched it while standing at work during the day and even did same while sitting in the gym in the evenings. I saw and noticed a trend still unseen by many, a growing one. A very fast change but steady over time. The Yoruba nation is changing, it's happening fast but is still unseen and unnoticed cause it's gradual. And it's in a downward spiral! But how can I put it all in writing? I ask myself. How can I say it to hit home without sounding mischievous and even bigoted? I know what I am saying and know the pattern when I see one cause I am from a section of the country that is highly docile, to put it in a single word. I don't hide the truth even if it's at my own. And it is easy to notice cause we are a minority. You will not see or notice the same growing trend in the Yoruba people cause they are a majority tribe. So much so that they are in their tens of millions. These reality will start to be more prominent and evident in about a decade or so to come. The following thread says it exactly as I would have, exactly as I have been saying even though in smaller pieces of posts. Read it and go through my posts through some weeks and months ago and see the alignment. Sadly these kinds of posts do not get promoted cause they're viewed as threatening or even insulting. https://www.nairaland.com/7622785/yorubas-becoming-insecure-frightened-second https://authorityngr.com/2023/03/21/the-yorubas-are-becoming-an-insecure-frightened-and-second-rate-nation/

I think I understand when someone is saying something but you need to really read it again and again to get what they're actually saying. The adultery with a sister to the wife Mrs Yesufu was talking about here is not directed to the Bashir El'rufai but his father "Mallam" Nasir El'rufai. It is El'rufai Sr that she's talking about. She said.... my son definitely prefers to be the child of one who dances in her hijab than to be the child of one accused of causing the mental illness of one of his wives when she caught him in bed with her blood sister. It makes no difference the wearing of big big hijabis when things going on inside, in secret and down under are as dirty! But which wife did "Mallam" El'rufai did the do with her sister and is now mental?

duro4chang:Your bigotry will chock you in due time, it is not good for your heart and general well-being! Read this and try to cure it before it's too late.... https://www.nairaland.com/7621178/yoruba-obsessions-igbo-glance |
ubest1:Don't let that person up there who quote you mislead you. The Supreme Court many years ago confirmed what you say. They're are trying to change common English and even Nigerian law to fit a fraud. |
Mpempeuwa:You can fool some of the people some of the times but you can not fool all the people all the times. |
The first post was carried and shared by a Tinubu supporter, the moment you see it you should know where they're coming from and where they're going. The second is from an Obi supporter. That is where you should seek original and genuine info from. But sharing half info to the general public doesn't change the petition in court, just you be careful where and how you read news about this court case from now on. Nairaland is complicit. They in collabo with Nairaland are on a new mission for new and fresh misinformation. Nairaland will collect lots money going forward to help share and spread half baked or even total misinformation, stay vigilant. It is now the real fight has started. And if Nairaland has lost it credibility in this crucial time so will it its members. |
I know some of the people in that video. So they did a protest without telling everyone? I am not happy, I and everyone around were waiting for something like this to join. Anyway, we are waiting for Obi's signal, this doesn't seem like a Labour Party protest. |
Henry22:They are up and about seeking validation and acceptance for the fraud and cheap likes here and there. It comes with a price, and it's not what they'll be expecting. |
Quickly, without hesitation and even reading the entirety of this post, go to politics and trending sections! What do you see? It is not about Tinubu, it is about "peppering" the Igbos. I just want to come over to Nairaland and read intelligent, educative threads. Now that it seems Nigeria is quiet about the vast electoral injustice and INEC abracadabra, those you expect to celebrate another "win" are more obsessed with talking about the Igbos than about their own candidates. Where's Tinubu? Where's Shettima? Who's really rejoicing over the APC "victories" on national and state levels? These people are more concerned about Peter Obi's statements and whereabouts than what they claim to want all over the Internet. Peter Obi as a Nigerian has every right to contest, same as any and every tribe. And when he wins and is being disenfranchised he has a right for hearing. If it's only the Igbos that wanted and voted Peter Obi then why does the nation seem like it's standing at the edge of a knife? It looks like they have the victory, then why aren't they all about it. Why the Igbo obsession? You're not heating up anti-Igbo sentiments, you're building up anti-Yoruba disdain. Watch out, don't shoot off your legs on the job!!! The hate and fire you're brewing on this tribe, when it's finally fully lit it will not be them that will rise up in their defense. Nigerians will do the fighting! I smell something coming, you won't know cause you have your noses in the sky! |
Jeon:One last thing, take down that profile pics there and remove that signature of yours from there. If not I will personally correct and repremand you like a senior brother or uncle. That's not being "woke" but confusion and psychological foolishness. The White man is wrong, take note! |
Jeon:I see what you're doing! You're a very lonely and depressed girl, you love the attention I am giving you this night even though it's a bitter one. You want to go to bed but don't want to cause I make you feel human and visible again. At least you should have looked for someone reasonable and calmly and politely strick a convo with. But you won't be humble cause you feel you have a pride and ego to protect. You have left me with no option but to apologize for the insults I splashed on you this night. So here it goes.... Personally, I don't do this insulting of a thing. I should have avoided your post in the first place. But I didn't! Do not let my address to you make you feel less, if you look inside you you will find that once little and innocent girl there. Embrace her, be free, throw away the pride and ego, those are attributes of Lilith the demon female of feminism, homosexuality and all. Finally, sorry for insulting you. Sorry for bringing your personal life and family into it, even the religion stuff. I am a Christian and I should not do such. I hope you find that peace and turn back from that sinking hole you walking in. If at all you really feel like talking mention me for intelligent discuss, I seem to think I know a lot about a lot. Sorry again Jeon, it's not cowardice I am doing here, I don't fear you. Just being a sensible and reasonable person. Now it is your turn! |
Jeon:Well, that picture right there is Peter Obi, he is my President for the next eight years. I am not Igbo but I have come to admire them cause what they have bared and conquered in Nigeria and still come out on top no other tribes can in Nigeria. Not the Yorubas and definitely not your head-banging-on-floor people who deal on incest, sodomy and a touch of bestiality here and there. Muhammad can testify. I am from the "North", kin ji ko? Ni Dan arewa ne. Ama mun Fi mu kira kanmu yan Middle Belt don ku mutanan banza ne, baku da damu da ran mutane. Mugunchi ya fara daga ku ne. Ga iskanche ama son boye a chikin hijabi. |
Jeon:I sincerely don't know who you talking about and that is the absolute truth. Now your turn. Have you found that effeminate South Korean sissy you've been drooling about? Or you still grinding vaginas and piecing bottles and sticks inside? Don't be surprised I know a lot about you, I know about a lot of many Nairalanders. Can't hide from the LocalStandard you know, I have eyes everywhere. |
Jeon:Don't be shy Fatimah, this is a faceless forum. Are you still grinding vaginas and piecing bottles inside with that female friend of yours? And are your parents now aware? |
Jeon:You've been a troll on Nairaland for years now, you can do better than name mixing. Have you satisfied your homosexual and incest tendencies? Or you already adding bestiality to them? I am also from the North but not from where we lay with cousins, relatives and cows or give out underaged children to their uncles for marriage. Has your previously underaged and now grown sis solved that infection problem from years of being married to that Alhaji? |
