I wanted to write a revelation I came to the realization of some days ago, it is titled "HOW ABIKE DABIRI HAS JUST SHOWED US WHAT A POSSIBLE TINUBU PRESIDENCY WILL BE LIKE". In it I draw out observations and conclusions about what I think a Tinubu administration will be like using the person of Abike Dabiri as case study and lead character persona. It was a lot of write-up really!! The alleged abandoning of the Igbos by the Nigerian government in Sudan may have made me out as a Prophet if you'd had read the post in question before the particular news. What I am simply saying in this post in particular is "injustice against the Igbos of Nigeria is injustice to all". Even if the outgoing Fulani government and the so-called presumed presumptuous and pretentious incoming Fulani/Hausa/Yoruba administration decides to stop the injustice, marginalization, oppression and killings and destructions of the lifes and livelihood of the Southern Kaduna people and even the Middle Belt by extension I, LocalStandard, will not rest and will refuse to be at peace and comfortable with the general state of the nation till the Igbos too receive the same attention and treatment worthy of human beings and fellow equal citizens of the country. And before all this is over the naturally hateful and oppressive subjugators in power will realize that A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE AND WE ARE IN ALL THESE TOGETHER TILL THE END.But even as Tinubu thinks he's achieved his dream and long desired ambition, at what cost really? At the expense of the a seemingly long cooperated relationship enjoyed by the Southern Nigeria? Do you ditch a better and longer relationship built on a more shared history, culture and political and socio-economically aligned goals for citizens and the general population? Instead for one built on the greed of one small group seeking more power, more money and position for mere bravado and show-offs? When Buhari and his administration did it to and against the Igbos we said he's a Northern Fulani and Muslim. Still the Igbos survived him, the North in general and the people of Katsina in particular are still much in poverty, plenty insecurities and are crying. What and how do we identify Tinubu and his goons like Abike Dabiri and co? Cause after eight years of a possible Tinubu there will definitely no longer be a Southern Nigerian alignment, cooperation and unity, but the Igbos will surely survive you too. Then What?! ![]()

I was live and right in the middle of the conflict in Kaduna State in 2011 after Muhammadu Buhari lost the election to Goodluck Jonathan, in fact I was at the front of the crowd when Buhari's people in Rigasa, Tudun Wada and other Muslim dominated towns invaded and attacked us. But by 2011 Kaduna State was already used to religious crisis( No one should ever be used to violence and savagery). Who caused it? Who went back on his promise for peace no matter the outcome? You know who. Thinking Buhari has always been misunderstood and maybe is changed, Christians where divided between APC and PDP in 2015 and plenty went for the APC and Buhari in Kaduna State. He and non of his supporters or spokespersons has ever apologized for all and any fights and crisis they caused. It is the advent of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the metamorphosis of his large media empire from State and regional to entire national politics that brought back and reintroduced tribal politics in Nigeria, only now in a full blown tornado like force. "Take it by force, run away with it". We have seen and heard threats and outright religious and tribal attacks, very much physically and otherwise from the camp of the antagonists. We have heard both divisive pioneers say tribal and religiously inspired bitter utterances, YET NON OF THEM HAVE FOR A SINGLE INSTANCE OR EVEN BY MISTAKE APOLOGIZED OR HAD ANY FORM OF REMORSE. Thing about apology is the moment you utter it it only means you're in regret of certain words or actions and by extension beliefs and views. What harm has the OBIDIENTS committed? What is the offence that needs an apology, remorse or regret about? I will tell you what........ It is the burning desire to see a fair, equal, incorruptible, genuinely working nation. That's what! And the hunger for it. The OBIDIENTS WANT A BETTER NIGERIA. THE OTHERS WANT CONTINUITY AND YOU'RE ONLY STANDING IN THEIR WAY YOU. Will you get out their way? Will you, will you?!! I don't think so!!! Now the so called disdain and hate for such patriotic characters is borne out of the inability to drop the bigotry and hate, and join together under one umbrella for a change of the status quo. It is also the inability of the other camp and the lack of any credible strong argument to present on behalf of their obviously failed and indefensible tribal and religious jingoists principals. It is easier for the mount Everest to be moved than an OBIDIENT'S resolve. Don't, this ground is just too solid! We join together and laugh them!!!😂😂😅😅😀😀😁😁😋😋😎😎 Apology!!! You go wait till you turn to carcase.

Firstly let me start by reinstating my last claim..... GET TWO PEOPLE, SET THEM TO ARGUE A COMPLETELY FALSE TOPIC, GET SOME "PROMINENT" MEMBERS OF SOCIETY TO SUPPORT THE CLAIMS AND IT BECOMES A FACT AND AN ABSOLUTE IN NIGERIA.It is Tinubu that understands the dept of this statement very well and very early. Let me explain.... I walked in on some guys arguing politics, and while I didn't want to chip in I heard the most outrageous claim from a section of them that made me enter the talk which ended up lasting hours. The claim is even more outrageous than the one of "Tinubu building Lagos State". Oh Lord! They kept insisting even against any credible logic that "Tinubu introduced pension payment into Nigeria". Can the Nigerian ear hear any bigger bunkum?! How Tinubu's most famous area of investment, THE MEDIA, made him a genius of modern Nigerian politics. Only Tinubu has the power and ability to turn a "rotten situation into a bad one" using nothing but the Media. Only Tinubu can manage to escape all interviews and debates and any form of real time engagements with people he claims he wants to lead. Only Tinubu can manage to divert all attentions of his very very dirty and extremely controversial life, past and real money making investments. Only Tinubu can manage to get his supporters and even Nigerian intelligentsias and educated people alike to stand in front of Peter Obi and his supporters and argue about both characters. ONLY TINUBU CAN MANAGE TO DIVERT OR TOTALLY HYPNOTIS, HIS SUPPORTERS, NIGERIANS AND EVEN THE SO CALLED MEDIA TO FORGET OR NOT TALK ABOUT HIM ALSO BEING MENTIONED IN THE PANDORA PAPERS BUT WITH AN EVEN BIGGER SCANDAL AND OBVIOUS SCAM THAN THE ONE THEY ALWAYS JOIN PETER OBI WITH, OF WHICH IS NOT ILLEGAL BY THE WAY. But I dare say Ambode who served for only a single term did far better than Tinubu, in a time of Nigerian economic boom, can ever hope to achieve in eight years and even more. Tinubu was only a basic and average Governor who hid under a time of an already prosperous State and especially nation to peddle own selfish agenda, he can definitely not manage the current high woeful national situation and predicament the abysmal Buhari has put us in and is leaving behind. That is a challenge best fitted for one who has delt with same before, Peter Obi, and conquered impressively too. TVC, The Nation, Radio Continental, you name more and name them all. Try look into the "news" websites he owns or sponsors too. All belongs to one man, for reeducation and miseducation. Such high interest and hunger in the media don't you think?! As people scamper and scurry to attack Peter Obi and try to lend their voices for Tinubu so as to "get a share" from the pot, know that his ingenious and most dearest investments in The Media is what assisted very much and the most in bringing Nigeria to where it is today, where a Professor is not more mentally agile than a Kindergarten pupil. You wan lick and you wan chop and also want your share, but it comes with an even far bigger price and it isn't worth it! Just keep singing if you want to have your share, for the mean time though. Tinubu, the most credited, overly hyped sham in Nigerian public space.

[s]Something is going on in Nigeria, something is being masterly planned and executed right in our eyes and we see it but can't understand or acknowledge it at the moment.[/s]Let me go a little off topic for a moment here. Although I write with hands but the feeling and actions are becoming exhausting, feel quite like the only seeing loner in an all blind land. Done! There is absolutely not a single prominent or influential Christian in the Buhari government or administration, we all know not one. Let me speak about the only one close but completely toothless. A LGA Chairman is far more active, powerful and influential than the current Nigerian Vice President. Prove me wrong! The current unofficial "office of the first Lady" is even more power than the Vice President's, we have seen it, heard it and are still seeing it. But it definitely didn't use to be like that until now, and we all know it too. The main issue here is the deliberate, open and well planned ALIENATION AND ELIMINATION OF INFLUENTIAL CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIAN POLITICS. Let me go deeper...... Who can tell me the name of a single powerful active Christian politician in Nigeria today? Not a former or "elder statesman" but one in active politics today. SYSTEMATIC!!! We've seen, we've heard, we continue to see Muslims very much involved and outspoken in politics, in fact, the highest recognized Muslim political leader is a Sultan. Islam and politics are inseparable. No one questions when a Muslim leader says or supports anyone in politics, not to even mention just visiting them. All the searchlight, scrutiny and criticisms are targeted at Christians, "no don't involve religion with politics!" Once upon a time we claimed the impossibility of what we see now clearly and presently as an eventual reality. The only currently most popular and important Christian politician is being shut down, attacked, fought, humiliated and alienated in the aftermath of a bemused elections that had an almost all Muslim popular candidates and a SELECTED Muslim/Muslim ticket as outcome. The only currently popular Christian politician is being attacked on all sides and told to disappear from view. How many Christians have already been arrested or outrightly condemned before and after the elections for statements? Compare that to actual threats and even it's eventual execution by the rest at same time frame, with absolutely zilch done or addressed. There is not a single popular and powerful active Christian politician in Nigeria today, the only one is being mobbed, and not just by one side but even together with Christians. Christians and the few still active are either completely bought over or are being alienated, attacked, eliminated from politics in Nigeria and no one's talking, no one's saying anything cause no one sees it. I know how it begins cause I am from a State that's very much Christian but very much quieted by same. I know the signs and reality of tomorrow, no one represents you and no one speaks for you cause no one is with you and not one for you. Where to?! How far?!! How far do we go till we all smell the coffee and see reality as it is instead of wishful thinking?!!! No, it is not rumours or fear mongering, it is clear and present reality and it is happening! But shhhhhh don't say anything about anything, less you get labeled.Let me go get a roasted corn and watch the next step as reality unfolds.

smat101:No, they said can't be done. |
Makers49:"Due time" was actually yesterday, sorry but I think you are very late to the Party. |
Now, my question is as the NCC together with the network providers start hearing in and secretly recording our private convos and editing it should we also start to wear our entire clothes when going to the bathroom too? And should the married people start getting large duvets and blankets to cover up inside their rooms when doing the do, or should they go into the ceiling for that?

Get two people, set them in a Nigerian crowd and get them to argue Muhammadu Buhari is actually a white man. Get a few "prominent" members of society to support the argument and it becomes a fact among the average Nigerian. Let me explain and prove my claim. Buhari went on to take a known pastor as his Deputy in the 2011 elections. He lost! Buhari made a comeback as the 2015 elections approaches and select again a less popular Pastor of a well known Pentecostal Church. But he definitely wasn't done. He made friends with Pst Enoch Adeboye, even the Catholic Father PROPHET Mbaka, and together Adeboye and Mbaka took the very devote Muslim Buhari round Churches and its events and stood for him among Christians and spoke in soft tone to his name. Enoch Adeboye even led a protest against the Goodluck Jonathan administration which he walked in the front lines, we urged him on and called him genuine then. Scratch that! Tinubu came on to all of us and said he selected a Muslim candidate in the North, not cause he didn't acknowledge the power sharing and federal character, but cause the Northern Christians are just not politically significant and federal character in this case can s*ck it. He want to win an election and to do that he knows religion is very much a factor in Nigeria and the definitely in the North. It definitely doesn't matter in this case so scratch that, he can always buy Bishops later on! Kwankwaso, the known and proven Northern Supremacist who doesn't hide it, went for a Southern Christian Pastor as Deputy Presidential candidate cause even people like Kwankwaso are not dumb but in tune with reality. It definitely doesn't matter so scratch that too! A Known devote Christian from a very devoted Christian home with Christian leaders as siblings, who has sat for more interviews than all other candidates, maybe even all put together, attended more intellectual and social gatherings and doesn't shy aware from an invite. The only candidate who boldly and unafraidly visited minority and marginalized, desinfranchiced tribes in the far and deep North, selflessly suspended his campaigns for days to attend to disasters around the country. One who is ready to and has visited plenty of his Christian brethren all round Nigeria in person and in their own gatherings to present himself and his plans, his intentions and his laid down manifesto for scrutiny and otherwise. Always visits all traditional rulers in every town and State he goes for campaigns, sits with all youths in all locales and universities in areas he's campaigning. And doing all that with scarce and inadequate resources. Peter Obi! Let me perform a magic and mind game to you all to prove my point, allow me to hypnotise you a bit. Get ready and be careful, that's a warning. Peter Obi is the father of all religious and tribal politics in Nigeria. He has no right to visit any religious leader or attend any Christian gathering to present himself to his Christian brethrens his intentions and aspirations. In only a few months Peter Obi has pioneered and engineered religion in politics in Nigeria. He tried and failed(thank goodness) to galvanize Christians to his side and get their votes by presenting himself as the right, better and safer choice for Nigeria at large. I also hear his Deputy is not a real Muslim faithful, so I hear. Similar to what we saw during the 2015 elections with GoodLuck Jonathan, the only time you can involve religion is if you're a Muslim, the only time Pastors and Reverend Fathers are allowed to frolic and follow you around even endorse you is if you're Muslim. The only time Muric and any Muslim can support or back you is if you are a fellow Muslim. Christians should never present themselves to their fell brethrens as political candidates for any political issues cause not only are Christians not allowed to be involved in politics or talk about it, it is established that Christians are bad at running national affairs and can be very destructive, so they should always stand at the sidelines and watch like onlookers. Nigerian politics 101, take note!Peter Obi and many Christian leaders should have known better, they broke the unspoken rule together with Jonathan in his time. GET TWO PEOPLE, GET THEM TO ARGUE A TOTALLY KNOWN FALSE NARRATIVE, GET SOME MORE PEOPLE TO AFFIRM TO THE LIES AND ACTUAL PROPAGANDA OF THE FIRST TWO, MAKE A LOT OF NOISE ABOUT IT IN YOUR PRICED AND BOUGHT MEDIA. BY DOING SO YOU CAN GET EVEN THE SO-CALLED BRIGHTEST MINDS IN NIGERIA TO BELIEVE A BUNKUM. How did we arrive here? Sense and serious mind game, the way of the master!!

They called it a political "ALIGNMENT" between region A & B. Then I asked "an alignment against whom?". Now we know! Now we very much know!! Let me run off before they come on to call me a rabble-rouser and a disturber of a nonexistent peace and UNITY. I see a false profiling of one and even I may be next on here. |
When you go on to dish them half of what they give you they cry loudly and to high heavens and demand you get penalized, punished, banned, shut off. The problem to them is not that they obviously and glaringly continue to take and collect it All, oh no! It is the fact that just a tiny minuscule among us complain. So we should definitely keep it all in a hush hush less we get called out for calling out. Shhhhhh!!! Let them continue to take it all in peace to thou kingdom come, and let us watch on in pieces still. |
We get beat, disenfranchised, marginalized, cut off, removed, denied, despised, rejected, refused, redused, rebuffed, rebuked. And you know what? You know what?? When we cry they complain and even cry harder for our minute resistance. |
As they continue to very much succeed in cutting the Christian off from National affairs, they come now for even our ability and freedom to contest it and rebel and speak against it. I am surely a proud Christian, but I am not your type of Christian nor you mine. Spineless, Blind, Greedy, Lost, self-serving and in collaboration. |
It is everywhere even here, it is elaborate, it is subtle, most importantly it not for me or you but for the continuation of the rot the man of the moment was pointing to. I will be very happy if Peter Obi said what they claimed in the audio. It shows he speaks for us all even in Southern Kaduna. And I am finally proud to say I do not attend Church and haven't for years. I will not be among those who keep mute and refuse to speak for me instead collude and aid and abate. |
Have noticed the trend of the political and general state of Nigeria today. The very funny thing going on in Nigeria today is a thing of wonder and one for the comedy movies. What they're doing to you is putting forth a sort of distractions and diversion from the very big hole we're in and the even bigger one we're entering. They continue to try and engineer, dress up, present to you a type of of villain in the person of Peter Obi. While we continue to be distracted by the all-agreed-upon and very much convenient "enemy" in the absolutely innocent personality of Peter Obi, the outgoing government is doing its last shabby room dressing and ............🤐(let the reader feel in). And their own selected President-select is shamelessly no where to be found in the nation, thereby giving us all the clues we need to refresh our memories and wake our déjà vu about same events of times past, or still passing. A person so controversial, abysmal national disgrace of an internationally known crime Lord, so shady and illusive. What they're doing is subtly pushing down our throats the narrative of falsehood and absolute and definite propaganda. What's funny is they seem to be having a head way cause all of us, even the most mentally sound among us, are forgetting how woeful this outgoing administration has always ever been and the gloom awaiting the poor masses in a short while from now, which will definitely break the camel's back in rendering the layman two times poorer than already are (yes, it can get worse). But the reality we're faced with today is definitely caused by the man Peter Obi. All the gloom in Nigeria today, the poverty, the insecurities, the economic woes, the national tensions, the long prophesied and predicted desinfranchicement, deliberate exclusion and sidelining of Nigerian Christians in national and political affairs and the growing attacks and destructions targeted at them. The sponsored image tarnishing of a section of the country, the directionless trajectory of Nigeria's future and it's various different peoples, the reinstatement of the politics of "chop I chop", "sharing sharing formulas" and the long standing policy and practice of business as usual type government, the strengthening of the already very powerful elites, the extreme censoring of the media and punishment on journalists and media houses for doing more than allocated them. Yes, you guessed right, Peter Obi you are the problem of this country! You and only you alone are the reason Nigeria is where it is today!! All the bad luck and screamingly obvious bad policies and corruption Nigeria is in right from inception (even though you're born after independence) is your fault. It is because of you there is no Christian in charge of any of the arm of government today and even any important nation transforming position. You caused the Muslim/Muslim ticket out of your share bigotry and religious politics. You caused the continued killings of Christians and destruction of their properties all over this nation. You caused the "hitch" the BVAS faced during the elections. Only you are to be blamed for the mind boggling poverty of the people in the North. Peter Obi, Peter Obi, Peter Obi! How many times have I called your name? Look at all you caused! When all the other candidates were sternly condemning the Naira redesign and so-called cashless policy, you urged Buhari on. Your support was the reason for the Naira change woeful failure and you put us all in this punishment from the Buhari administration's last days in power. You are to be blamed for all Buhari's failures because Buhari is a very intelligent, hardworking and pragmatic leader whose unfortunate good was overshadowed by your bad. Only you and together with your outspoken, unbureaucratic Deputy that want to set this good country up. Peter Obi you are the problem and have always been the problem of Nigeria right from the get go! Look at how well Nigeria was doing before you decide to run for President, we were holding hands together and singing to the moon. You are the enemy number one! But whose enemy really? I ask. THIS IS THE VERY FUNNY REALITY OF THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL AND NATIONAL AFFAIRS. Peter Obi, The Man, The Personality, The Alleged Single Problem Of Nigeria Since Independence. But Problem To Whom Really? The Masses Or The Old Masters?!

favor914:You re quick to tell him to shut up for a supposed ignorance but it is you who's ignorant. Who appoints the Minister, who gives the President the power to appoint one? |
Many people around say they're going, as for me I will prepare from now to like two years and then I also find my way out. |
Ofunaofu:You did the perfect job of answering that one, they are all about to derail and bend posts to remove any kind of legitimate sense in them. |
uba1991:The Supreme Court decided on that a few years ago. This is only an argument cause it concerns a known international criminal, so a criminal with large amount of State funds can bend laws. |
MikeofAfrica:If they go on to change that basic English for Tinubu's sake then WAEC and every part of English at least in Nigeria should be adjusted too. Let the entire nation be mad and stupid so we know we lack sense and basic command for our official language. |
IgOga:Who appoints the Minister? Who gives the President the power to decide for the FCT people? Are they goats without a say about who appoints who leads them and decide their fate? |
BentizilL:No, everyone agreed to that before the man with the money bag decided to deep his hand in the Law. Atleast the Supreme Court did just a few years ago, and all INEC heads think same before now. But what changed? Let me think for a second! |
spearman:You have sold your sense and reason to your god, see here..... https://www.nairaland.com/7628155/deification-asiwaju-tinubu-south-west but some of us are still very much in tone with reality and common sense. It is not only the Igbos that still have that cause I am clearly not one. |
This used to be a simple and straight forward issue before the 2023 elections. But a situation can not be said to be simple if rules and laws set aside are not followed before the event. Section 134(2) States that a candidate must (a) have the highest number of votes cast at the election; and (b) have not less than 25% of total votes cast in AT LEAST two-third of all the States in the Federation AND THE FCT, Abuja. 'At least' and 'and the' statements are enough for one just waking up from a deep sleep to understand an instruction. "Bring two thirds (24) and the special one". But for those who say the FCT has no special status do not know the situation of an FCT and are not clear about the Law. Yes the FCT has the status of a State but is not a State. All Nigerian laws describe the FCT separately when Laws are made, Never 37 States but 36 and the FCT. Except.... The FCT, Abuja does not have a governor and as such has no chance of electing a governor so the elected President hand picks and appoints an administrator or Minister for it. But how can an individual have the power to appoint one when he isn't known or elected by the indigenes and residents? That is injustice and a coup on the people, on the territory he is expected to preside and lead from, together with all MDAs (which most all be in the FCT too by law). That is why the Constitution, in all its wisdom, made the 25% votes in the FCT a conjunction in the Law. Without which a candidate can not and will not be said to meet the requirements. By default a President is like the Governor of the FCT, like. But how can he be seen as such and even have the power to appoint his representatives if he was never recognized by his own supposed district? As Nigerian States went out to vote on the 18 of match for governorship candidates the FCT are expected by Law to have done theirs in the Presidential elections, and that is the 25 percentile requirement. A candidate is not required to win all 36 States AND THE FCT, instead only two-thirds of the States (24) AND THE FCT. The Supreme Court was clear about that few year ago. NOTE: Attached are pictures of the Supreme Court Judge who made an unbiased and neutral judgement and interpretation to that section on the Law as recent as 2008. Watch and be educated https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=43_mR6Z9-3w
|
muykem:Because it is that 18years old boy's territory that the President is going to preside and lead from, even hand picking and appointing its sole administrator. The boy should have a say in that aspect of his life as the privilege of voting in a governor is snatched from him. |
Elliotwaveforec:Thank you! Now let's look at it from your logic(even though it has holes everywhere). The same SC declared 25% in the FCT is mandatory. Secondly, the FCT does not have a governor which makes it even more imperative for a candidate to get atleast the 25% cause it the winner who gets to decide the FCT minister. How can someone not voted by a territory and therefore so unpopular as to not even get a meager 25% decide for the whole seat of power? That is why the Law was made the way it was. Until unprecedented and unimaginable rigging as we're seeing sets in. |
greatiyk4u:If we should go by your argument then the SC have already made there intentions about that part of the Law known few years ago. Has the Constitution changed? |
Godspikin:Yeah, you that know the law should tell that to the Supreme Court that mandated it and the former Supreme Court Judge. OK? And for the last time, the FCT is seen as a State but is not a State, it is special. The fact this issue has already been addressed by the Supreme Court before but you people want to change simple English and the Law to suit your evil international criminal is appalling. Everybody, from the Courts to lawyers and even the INEC agreed it is mandatory, until Tinubu lost and rigged forgetting to do same to the FCT. Now we're arguing the obvious. |
don't say anything about anything, less you get labeled.
