Unfortunately, cancer in dogs is all too common – there is a good chance that you or someone close to you has been impacted directly by canine cancer. And while it can be a challenging time, dog owners can take comfort knowing that new cancer treatments are becoming available, such as TANOVEA™-CA1 (rabacfosadine for injection) for the treatment of dog lymphoma. Why do people often go the extra mile for their dogs with serious medical illnesses such as cancer? It’s that unconditional love and companionship you get from your best friend. In fact, researchers point out that you derive a whole host of health benefits from being a pet owner. So while you are protecting your beloved dog with appropriate care, he/she may actually be protecting you!
A Truly Synergistic Relationship
Your dog counts on you for food, water, exercise, and medical care. What do you get in return? Quite a bit! Studies have shown that owning a dog helps you:
1. Stay active and fit. How many times have you plopped down on the couch after a long day, planning to spend most of the evening there, but been persuaded by your pooch to go for a walk? While you may grumble as you grab the leash and head for the door, you probably feel better when you return. And there’s no question the exercise has done you both some good.
2. Reduce your stress level. Spending even a few minutes petting and interacting with a dog can help decrease your blood pressure, lower anxiety, and increase the level of neurochemicals like dopamine and serotonin that are responsible for feelings of calmness and well-being. In fact, therapy dogs are now being used in some work settings to help people “decompress” during their work day.
3. Connect with others. There’s nothing like having a happy dog out for a walk to help break the ice with someone you encounter on the street. And it’s not uncommon for those encounters to spawn friendships over time. But even if it’s just a friendly wave from that person who always seems to be on your walking schedule, it can lift your spirits and help you feel more a part of your community. And if your dog becomes sick or you meet others dealing with cancer in dogs, that bond can be even more meaningful.
4. Add purpose to your life. So many of the things we do on a regular basis don’t provide much in the way of positive feedback. But almost everything you do for your dog — from feeding to grooming to walking — elicits a tail wag or a bark of appreciation.
5. Fight depression. For some people, interacting with a dog does more than just put a fleeting smile on their face. It can actually help produce lasting improvement in mood and outlook, and actually reduce the risk and/or severity of depression.
6. Avoid heart disease. The American Heart Association is on record as saying that owning a dog may protect you from heart disease. While you don’t want to buy a dog for that reason alone, if you are a dog lover, you may be receiving this protection as an added benefit of pet ownership.

Nne5: Ndi mbaise bu this ndi mbaise bu kwa that.
Rochass 'rulership' is zero but the annonying thing is most people don't care because at least obughi onye mbaise. From my observation MBAISE people are the most hated in Imo state. And from what i see, it played a major role in Emeka not being the Governor. |

Realtouchnot: It smacks of tyranny, belligerence, hate and hypocrisy for him to ever consider his son in law, who is also from his zone, as the candidate of his party. Even other APC faithfuls are automatically ruled out, so it's not a matter of PDP or APC.
And we all know how elections go on in Nigeria especially, since the time of APC. People's vote never count. The Okigwe senatorial re run election was never won by APC, but results were written in Owerri, while election held in Okigwe.
Okorocha has started using yhe state funds to campaign for his son in law.
Because Okorocha is an ogboni man who loves to see blood, and not like Ohakim, who could let go, the amount of violence and death that will happen in Imo state, will be more than the one that has ever happened in River state. You and your family might be victims, because no one knows, who can be affected.
Rochas has set himself against the people of Imo state, and I see blood rolling.
Please sir, if you're eating from his government, see how you people can persuade him to shelf the idea of his son in law, if not I see real blood. Screen shot this comment and save it. Hmmmm..... Noted |

Nwadiuto247: Rochas is a failure. I supported him in his first tenure but i was against him in second tenure election but my friends foolishly voted even after my warning that Rochas will not do well. Now they have seen it.
Ihedioha is not an option too. He failed to do well for us when he was deputy speaker. Ohakim messed. Its a pity that non of them performed like Dee Sam Mbakwe. For me, I think we Leo Stan Eke to govern Imo state but he isnt interested in politics. He is a good material for our state. Nice. waiting on other Imolites. |

This post is to get the attention of Imolites.
In 2015, we were Given two candidates, to pick one. Most of You refused to vote Hon. Emeka Ihedioha because "He was an Mbaise man". but now you are all feeling the heat.
I'll like to get your review on the Leadership of the state.
1. Are you Okay with it or not.
2. Will you say you made/took a wrong choice/decision or a right one?
3. Are you ready to make amend/correct your mistake or you are ready to continue the way you are.
Feel free to drop your comments.
Let's see if we can make Imo state a better place.
