Where are the pastors, reverends, General overseers,Sheiks, miracle centers. No pastor saw covid-19 coming in December 2019. This time should open our eyes to what we have stupidly fallen for. All these so called men of God are scammers.. I pray we get over this difficult time, you will see them again with Bible verses to defend their ways. My gullible people will still fall into their antics sha. |
How on Earth can anyone still think covid-19 figures in Nigeria are cooked when we all see what is happening in Europe and America? Do you know what the country is losing on a daily basis with the lockdown . You are waiting for your family members to get infected or perhaps die to confirm covid-19 is real in Nigeria. Indeed true education is not the certificates we carry, many are educated but their minds are just empty. |
We are yet to see that all these pastors are scammers. Why have they not done miracles for covid-19 . We are also too gullible and believe everything they tell us. |
Firstbank just playing to the gallery. E- learning as solution for COVID-19 at this time by an organization like firstbank ? e-learning is has always been available free of charge before COVID-19. YouTube provides on-ljne education materials free of charge . Come to think of it, how many common citizens in Nigeria have access to the internet? At this time when Nigerian are forced to stay at home without means of survival, when we are scared about hospital facities available in the country to deal with the pandemic in case of outbreak( God forbid). Please go and check what organizations in countries of the world are contributing to the nation's they operate and beyond to help fight the problem. Only Jack Ma donated medical materials running into several billion of dollars to African countries to help at this time.Even individual Nigerians are riding up to the responsibility. Firstbank e-learning for covid-19 relief , haba!! This is what happens when you have very wicked and unpatriotic people at the leadership of organizations. This is a bank that has been sitting on free goverment and peoples money for many years. E-learning as solution for covid -19 by Firstbank ? this is unthinkable. God helps Nigeria. |
It's high time we arrange to support the stay at home directives |
Coronavirus has shown to the world the havock it can reck. Nigeria has recorded cases that are currently being managed. It is my prayer that we are able to contain the virus so that we will not have the issues similar to what is being faced in Europe ,America and other affected parts of the world. While we hope and pray against the widespread of the virus in the country, we also need to get ready and plan in case of possible outbreak. The reason I am doing this is because I am aware of the work nature and income level of majority of Nigerians. So many companies in this country cannot afford to pay salaries when workers are not at work, many of our citizens depend on daily income to survive and I wonder how such people will obey a stay at home order. To make it worse, the country is not bouyant at the moment( foreign reserve currently less than $35 billion and crude oil selling below $30 per barrel ). We need to give cash and stimulus to citizens as being done in many parts of the world to cushion the effect of hardship caused by stay at home order. I am not here to defend Nigeria's inability to take care of her citizens. I am just being realistic and trying to suggest a way to survive this pandemic. I however believe that viable companies and rich Nigerians can help with donations and materials support to States Governments( or other trusted organizations)in the country . To learn from the challenges experienced in the badly affected countries and beyond stipend given to citizens, shortage of hospital materials bed space and human support are the main issues. We can brace up to plan for collective survival. The earlier we get ready and prepared ,the better for the country. I am only a concerned Nigerian |

This guy has a shady background . I smell issues from his profile. No year of birth, bsc building, msc transport, pgd civil and phd environment. He could have purchased some of those certificates. My observation though. |

The construction of the bridge will sure open up the towns along the routes for opportunities and development. It will boost the economy of Ikorodu and the connecting towns. |
The 4th mainland bridge project has been approved and construction works will commence soon. We have heard from Governor Ambode that the bridge will connect Lekki to Ajah, Lagbasa Ajah to Ikorodu and from Ikorodu to Lagos -Ibadan expressway stopping at Ojodu berger. How the bridge will connect from Bayeku to Itamaga, Ikorodu-Sagamu to Isawo to Ojodu Berger is not clear Good people in the house with detailed information of the description of the paths/touchpoints/route of the bridge should help. This will allow some of us to take position ahead of the construction. Regards |

The bad side of this thing to me is the fact that you sought guidance from some men of God and they chose a particular man for you. If you live you life like that, you will end up in the rock. I can bet you the men of God gave you answers based on their life experience. They did not see anything. If you want to be convinced , pick two imaginary(unreal) names send to the men of God to help you pick the better between the names and you will see that they will still select and none will discover they were fake names. Be wise My advice is that you use your sense and critically look at the real issue in your decisions . Your judgment should be based on what risk you are about to take and note also that it is a lifetime contract . If you get it right now, good luck if you miss it, you will likely live your entire life trying to sort it. Wish you the very best. |

I am under no illusion that the task I have set out to achieve in this article is a simple one and I know there cannot be a better opportunity for all of us as Nigerians to realize how important it is to fight together this time around in order to rescue this country and the future of our people from those who have reduced our land to what it is today. The rot in the system is at the very unprecedented level and it is time we put an end to this circle of political corruption or at least mortally attenuate it by electing the right leaders. A journey without a clear mission and presided over by a leader who has vision is like a free and airborne paper being tossed around by the wind which undoubtedly will end up in an unknown destination. Once upon a time, Lagos had the opportunity to choose Lateef Jakande as the Governor of the state and the indelible mark he left behind is there for all to see, up to this day. My choice of Lagos as example is based on the information at my disposal as a Lagos State indigene and a proud beneficiary of the Jakande administration. As a people whose life is dependent on the way the country is run cannot continue to remain indifferent and expect things to work well. We all have the duty to use the power (votes) in our hands to change the story of our dear country. Nigeria has everything it takes to be great. It is just having the right leader as the captain in charge of our collective destiny to greatness. I think for once, Nigerians should come together irrespective of religious and ethnic bias. We have tested Muslims and Christians in this country and we really have a choice of either taking the same route or see the need to remove the toga of religion or bias of ethnicity which always inform our sense of judgment in situations like this. The solution to this problems starts from every individual who is up to Eighteen years of age to register and collect permanent voters card in readiness for the February 2015 elections. While the intention of this article is not to campaign for Mohammadu Buhari, the events that recently unfold and facts on ground about the integrity of the man compels me to pass a message to my people that any vote for Buhari is a clear statement of change needed to be expressed by every Nigerian in order to reposition this country and free her from the grip of oligarchy and kleptomaniacs who derive pleasure in using the resources of the country to satisfy their selfish ends at the expense of the masses. I do not wish to dwell too much into the credentials of Buhari as the man is known even by his opponent to be more suitable for the job. I as a Nigerian have never been more hopeful than I am now that we will get there and together we can make it possible. Engr Ola Lasisi (mnse) |
