Chaos Walking 2/4 stars.

Apart from the fact that this film looks cheap, I feel there's a more fascinating back story waiting to find its way out than what we're currently seeing.

I'm very thankful that Doug Liman painstakingly avoids the cliched young couple Hollywood romance.

Given their experience with young adult adaptations a la Hunger Games, I'm surprised that Lionsgate bungled this one.

Gadot that I didn't even know who she was even watching her in BvS. Even after Watching FF movies before BvS I couldn't recognise her face. It was only recently I got to know she was in FF and I was gobsmacked.

She only Broke out as A star in Wonder Woman in 2017. And cemented that with Justice League 2017 and WW84 2020.
Only after these 3 movies I've mentioned was she considered A-list and became highly sought after.

This is one film that'll be negatively reevaluated with time when the euphoria of seeing two beloved cinematic monsters onscreen has worn off.

It delivers on the title promised: was surprisingly pleased to see Zilla and Kong go at each other a second round.

However, a simple story doesn't equate to stupid which can be said for the human characters involved. For all the sign language and crisscrossing involved, I would gladly sit and watch Walter Simmons as the only human involved: with a short screen time, he's the only properly motivated and logical character.

Nobody should come at me with that "It's a monster movie line".
