This Reminiscence movie is really something. It gives off inception vibes. Since it's coming from Lisa Joy– Christopher Nolan's brother, Jonathan's wife, I'm hooked.
They even brought together some creatives from Westworld. Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson and Thandiwe Newton. See cast. Composer– Ramin Djawidi, fvvk that Westworld intro song. I'm defo into this.
abduleez1: You sure for wetin you talk so? Witcher ahead of The Mandalorian S2? Even if it manages to be ahead, I can't possibly see it WAY AHEAD.
Show me receipts.
If you cannot believe that the Witcher is ahead of the Mandalorian, it is because you are using intuition and common sense, which is the right thing to do.
Netflix is the one causing this confusion. They do not produce raw streaming numbers and the numbers they release regarding their shows is questionable. They rank shows based on numbers of households who stream the show for the first 2 minutes, for the initial two months of the show's release. What a load of BS!
Then, there is another BS media company called Parrot, which uses its own metrics to rank viewership of shows.
The truth is that the Witcher had a poor reception when it came to critics reviews. It had popularity but it was not as good as many shows like the mandalorian, stranger things etc
A college girl, studying abroad in Europe, stumbles upon a murder in progress, orchestrated by a terror cell, putting her life in danger as the main witness.
zeeace: be using sense to talk! people that say things like this about, bragging about going to the Cinema and stuffs , are probably students who don't even know their left and right. I don't expect a sane adult in this Nigeria to say things like this.
Beorn: I currently stay in a state that have no cinema (though I'd soon be leaving to one that has), so even if I want to go to cinema, I just can't. And I won't travel to other states with cinemas just because of a movie. I'm not mad.
But you shouldn't use other people's disadvantages to mock them. That's tactless. Some people here don't have cinema in their town. Some do but due to financial constraint can't be watching movies in cinema. Naija is hard. Some people are still students feeding off their parents. Some do have the money but ain't freaked out about going to cinema. They'd go to the cinemas from time to time but it's not something they fancy.
The examples are numerous. So, do you and let others do them. Las las, we will get to watch the movies either in cinema or our phones.
Well said. Bro.
I got nothing to add.
However, can you explain how you are in a state without cinema? Is it work or studies that carried you there?
If you hadn't mentioned indirectly that you are in Naija some time ago, I would have reasoned that you were based abroad.
AHCB: Oh my senseless friend, after all this time, you still don't have sense. Why am I not surprise.
The central points you mentioned happened to be points (areas) known for high traffic congestion in Lagos.
You see why you still don't have sense?
Lol.
Central. Also meaning that there are many routes to the place.
Central points. Plural. Also meaning that there shouldn't be a cinema far from you.
For instance, there are many ways to get to Alausa in Lagos and one will still dodge traffic.
For instance, if one lives in GRA Ikeja. There are two nearby options maryland or alausa cinema. Maryland is closer. Same options for those in ketu, ogudu, magodo.
Traffic is not much on weekends.
If you have a hobby, you'd find a way to follow that hobby
StPete: Watching movies is my hobby. Going out of my comfort zone to watch it at a cinema is a tard too much. I pay my Netflix subscription so I wouldn't need to travel far to watch some latest movies. I also get best viewing experience from my 4k TV and home cinema
