It's just a JOKE. The former movies had no single nudity and where all Critical and financial juggernauts, while it's good and commendable, abeg they need to adapt to the times. The movies were family friendly, now we need more adult and mature depiction.

At least Amazon know the cultural influence of GOT. To take its throne they'd need to adopt similar success formula and more. Also GOT prequel comes next year, so if Amazon like na their palava be dat. We'll still scratch our itch no matter what.

Sometimes when I read posts like this, I wonder if we watched the same movies together. Nothing major you say? The first film had 2hrs running time, Synder Cut had 4 hours running time and you think 2 extra hours is nothing major?

You were expecting Green Lantern? Did you watch the earlier fight where a Green Lantern was introduced in this version which helped Atlanteans, humans, Olympian Gods and Amazons to defeat Darkseid? Or you expected him to have a lead role all of sudden in a movie that had already been acted 3 years ago?

How about the more time given to Darkseid in order to give an insight of who the villain is and what the future of the DCEU would look like?

How about the movie time given to Desaad? Did you know Desaad wasn't in the first version? Did you know The fight between Ares and Darkseid was cut off from the first one?

Did you witness Martian Hunter in the the first version?

Did Flash enter the Speed Force to reverse back time in the Whedon Cut?

Darkseid led the invasion of earth in this version while Steppenwolf led the invasion in the Whedon Cut. So many differences but you chose to be blind to it.

A whole 2 hours was added to Zack Synder's version and you say it's nothing major. Bro, it's either you're hating, suffering from memory loss or simply don't understand what you watched. I suggest you remove sentiments and watch both movies again.

For the life of me, I wonder how Warner Bros. had this version of JL and chose to release the first version. It must be ment or malaria. This was a better, livelier, well-scripted, well-directed version of JL. The first version doesn't hold a candle to Synder's Cut at all.

The action scenes were better. The score. Visuals. Everything was better. 4 hours of awesomeness. Synder killed it. Warner Bros. and all those who conspired to feed us the earlier mediocre version ought to be shot on sight.

Modified: A part of me thinks that this is not 100% Synder's original version, that some scenes were added to it because it's really preposterous to have this version and water it down to serve us the original average version.

Also, I liked Steppenwolf in this version. Even though I wasn't happy that he couldn't give Superman tough time like in the first version, Steppenwolf matured in this version. He looked more like a hardened villain than the clown the first version served us.

This is the true vision we should have received in 2017, who knows the DCEU would have been in a much better pedestal by now. But what do I know, WB loves PAIN, they love the HARD way.


We would have gotten JL 2, Deathstroke and Martian Manhunter now.

If Joker becomes a smash success, financially and critically (which is expected, going by it's recent Screenings),expect DC to churn out more R rated content and grittier stuff.

They will mostly come off from Harley Quinzel stories with Gotham City Sirens and Joker Team ups.

In fact there is already a project for Dark Gritty and R rated Content with WB planning to launch DC black after probably Joker's success.
It will be separate from the DCeu continuity and like an elseworld universe like Joker. And the Intoxicating thing about it is that they would be Small budget flicks but we'll grounded storyline.

This way they don't need to bother much about box office earnings and audience reception that much and release unadulterated content.

And it gives us a good mix of Big Budget and Low budget films competing for Glory.

Wonder Woman had also not gotten over Steve's death. Her emotions clouded her judgement. And she wasn't the one who put Steve in another person's body. The Dreamstone did that.

Been on that WandaVision addiction, also been rewatching/finishing older TV series, so not really caught up. Tempted to watch Raya & the Last Dragon though, but don't wanna pay Premier Access on Disney+, so trying to do the legit waiting until June when it will pop up for the everybody on Disney+. Although, tempted to 419-it.

Just about every major character from the first installment showed up for this 30 year old celebration of the cycle of life. How time flies.

Must say the Wesley Snipes character is a masterstroke.
He is a funny man, no cap. lol!

Good to see Davido onboard. That's growth.
