I asked the same question, I wasn't given any reason. It's starting to become frustrating.

Good day everyone. It's been a really long time I visited nairaland. But of recent, the university I've been trying to apply to has rejected the two bank statements I submitted to them.

Anyone experiencing the same with schools they are trying to apply to in the US?

I love playing chess. Been playing for more than 3 years now and I'm a pretty strong player at that. Yesterday, I logged in to my favorite chess platform lichess.org to play chess.

Below is a screenshot.

This is how lichess.org and other chess platform works. You login to play chess, you click on a timeframe, say 10 mins and you get paired up with someone who also want to play a 10 mins chess game.

Then it hit me...

No matter what time I come to play chess, I aways get paired with someone. It doesn't matter if I play every single hour, once a day or once or month. It may take a few seconds, or even a minute or two, anyway, I always get paired.

It's the same with business. There's always someone to buy what you're selling. It doesn't matter if it's fast food, cargo delivery, computer software or a graphic design service.

If you're not getting paired in business, maybe it's because you're trying to sell meat pie and ice cream to those who want to eat amala and ewedu.

Tbills is not a business,it's only a saving plan to help you reach a saving target faster especially if you don't have time for a business or hate taking risk. If you like business and have the time,why dump huge amount of money in Tbills ??

Safe to say Tbills are for the big boys. The rest of us should get our hands dirty.

That 10% rate is not per subscription. It is per annum. Most bankers delibrately hide this info from their customers. So the true rate for 10% for 72 days is actually (72/365) × 10%...a very ridiculous 1.97% interest per 72 day sub.

Means that an investment of N100k will yield only N1970 for 72 days at 10%?

I really don't know when u started investing but rate have gone down to 7 percent around 2015/2016......in the financial world they called it lazy man bussiness ....inflation 12 percent tb 12 percent ..infact their was a time fixed deposits was even higher bank are smart they set up nice buildings with suited staff to collect cheap or free deposits at 0 to 4 percent the dump at 12.5 in tb and bond use 2.5 percent as runing cost then net profit over 8 percent ,they not much affected by inflation cos the investing capital is almost free .....imagine some one giving u 100 m with the probability he will only withdraw 5 m in the whole year ..u fix it at 12.5...u generate 1250000 u pay him 5 m and earn 7.5 ....used 1.5m to run the bank ,bank makes 5 million...share holders are happy

All these questions you people are asking have been answered in the previous pages. Just be patient and go tru it. I started T-bills just February 2019 (were I lock down at 14.9%) and I seem to know virtually everything. I have even commenced Eurobond negotiation with my bank stanbic (funds is in GTB). —all the info I got in this platform made me who I am today in T-bills investing. Please newbie if you are sincere to yourself about investing for your future, 700 pages is no big deal, please go tru it, and equip yourself, instead of waiting for someone to answer a question that is already in platform. When started I went tru about 600 pages patiently, even jolting down things as if I wanted to write exam. My account officer respect me because of the confidence I display when am talking to him about T-bills. Thanks guys for those 600 pages and still counting. Bdc is next inline for me.
