Anthonyo15: HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO PASSPORT IN YOUR PORTAL. 1. Snap yourself or your passport with a good camera phone. 2. Save it with your matric number and extension jpg or png. e.g NOU123456789.jpg or NOU123456789.pn g. The "NOU" must be upper case. 3. Then go to your portal. Log in. Then click on upload your passport. 4. On the new page, click "Choose file". 5. Choose the passport you had saved with your matric. 6. Then click on submit. It would tell you passport successfully uploaded. Log out then log in to see your passport in your profile.
NOTE: You must upload your passport first before you can register your courses for exams.
Macharthony Solutions 08185025045 Please is this applied to everyone or just new students Thanks |

Thank you for this information siwes is now #10000 that what shows in the portar has registration fee. Please what option should we choose has purpose of payment as siwes is not in the options on remita/federal goverment. Thanks. Anthonyo15: IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR IT/SIWES
1. The IT/SIWES Program is a 6unit course which must be completed by students before they graduate from the school. It holds for 6months (24 weeks). Some departments (e.g. ESM) have their IT twice as 3 unit course in each case at different semesters. In such a situation, each of the 3-unit IT course will last for three months. You will be graded from three main areas (i) Your NOUN supervisor’s comment (ii) Your Company’s supervisor’s comment (iii) The content of your Log Book
2. It is not mandatory to have registered your IT/SIWES as a course before you are allowed to participate in the program. However, you must pay N1,000 for the log book and submit copies of the Remita Payment Receipt and the Payment Teller at the study center (precisely at the office of your faculty) to collect the log book.
3. Although you do not necessarily need to have registered it as a course before you start the program, you must still register it as a course before you get your result for it. According to the school counselor, *you do not need to register IT/SIWES for examination*.. only the *course registration* is necessary.
4. Initially, registration for IT/SIWES (and even Project) was N15,000 but under this new administration and the new system, registration for IT/SIWES is now N3,000. Put this in mind when you are estimating your school fee for the semester if you want to participate in IT.
5. Payment for IT/SIWES course registration will be with your normal semester course registrations (I mean just as you register every other course for the semester) hence you pay for it like you pay for other courses directly into your portal, However, *payment for the logbook is made directly into the federal government account through the Remita website and not through your NOUN portal*. This means that apart from the N3,000 you paid into your school portal plus the money you paid into the same portal for registration of other courses, you are meant to pay N1,000 into the federal government account through Remita website. That is to say: *For Payment for IT/SIWES course registration: Pay into your NOUN e-wallet alongside your other course registration fees *For Payment for Logbook: Pay into Federal Government Pause via Remita website using the instructions below |

I'm at McCarthy study center right now
I came for screening as a new student but I'm not getting proper attention by the lady in charge...
First she was asking if I can meet up because exams are fast approaching (in my head am like if the site doesn't mess up as usual)
I asked her which was best: to wait for the next semester or be very fast about everything and join this semester? (I can do the latter if the school sites corporates)
Please I want to know which is best: wait or go ahead with the screening because she just kept me sitting here and I took permission from work o
Please o make una helep me |

Thank you I have it sorted had to go to my study center ,all good.Kind regards. Vicben: has money been deducted from your bank account? If not then be patient and even if the money has been deducted, still be patient. Try to load your wallet with the RRR generated for the transaction.
I made payment yesterday too and it didn't reflect in wallet, they did not also deduct the money (at least I didn't receive any debit alert) until this morning. I logged in after I got the debit alert and saw that my wallet was also updated with the same amount. |
