Good people I stand corrected here. Shouldn't this man be charged with statutory rape before manslaughter? I'm a bit confused or is it the system? Is a 15 year old not a minor in Nigeria?

I was reading a thread yesterday about a young women who tried to commit suicide because she found out her supposedly perfect husband was cheating on her. If she were my kid Sis, I'd have dashed her free slap for that stupidity. This same lady was just justifying her husband's actions when after an argument he pushed her so her hard she banged her head on the edge of a glass table (in the risk of a permanent head injury). This same lady condoned and even justified her husband hating her OWN mother for the flimsy reason that she made some strong recommendations while they were planning their wedding. And suddenly she finds out her husband had a plethora of runs girls at his beck and call, and she overdosed on pills! You've got to be kidding me!

Now, I know my opinion on cheating males is going to be hugely unpopular amongst the female folks in the house (especially the married ones who for some reason think their life's happiness is tied to their spouse's fidelity). I'm also not making excuse for the male folks for cheating, I'm just trying to be realistic about this society. For some reason, men cheat. Most men infact. The sooner women realise this, the happier marriages will be. Sex is not love. To men especially (and me too) sex is just a function that can stand on it's own independent of love and even affection. It's like eating.

Don't be 100% sure that your husband is not cheating or will not cheat on you. That will be living in a fools paradise my dear. It has nothing to do with how pure or holy you were growing up. let's lower our expectations as far as marriage is concerned, and I bet you you'll have a happier and fulfilled marriage.

Or you can always choose not to get married. Divorce is also an option.

Yeah, Yeah I know about the bringing another woman into the house or infecting HIV to the poor innocent wife. Yeah let's hope your husband is sensible enough to not commit to these ladies and he's not stupid enough to not use protection.

Historically,the segregation on Africans with dark complexion started during the trans atlantic slave trade. In slave plantations,white men considered Light skin tones pretty and decided to make a demarcation by making them house servants,while dark skin tones were left in the plantations. The white man is culturally prejudiced when it comes to dark skin tones. Light skin and mixed race were treated well. Additionally, people with wavy hair were said to have good hair while others were considered to have negro hair,kinky and nappy hair. With time,such inferiority complex diffussed into Africa,and people began to consider light skin more beautiful and closer to the white race. Similarly, thin lips,straight nose,light eyes, slim body was considered to be closer to the white race as oppossed to broad features. The same complex led to the invention of Hair relaxers and Weaves (that is not to say that Africans didn't strenghten their hair in the past).
It's all about divide and rule. Black Americans are the major victims here. They argue over light vs dark skin, skinny vs curvy, natural hair vs straight hair, natural locs vs false locs,etc. Recently,these complexes have penetrated West Africa esp Nigeria.

The fact that being fair skin toned is regarded as being beautiful and superior. The black mind is so enslaved it makes me sad. Here on Nairaland it is shocking to find that reviews on pictures of light skinned women are more positive than reviews on dark skinned women. People should be embarrassed for having this kind of mentality and for blaming whities for our misery. It is a total setback to the African race. Blacks rather be hating on their neighbour and pulling each other down while the white man spends time minding his own business. When your brother dies you rush to collect his fortune throwing the woman and children out of their house because of greed. Yeah, I have seen it too many times.

I think it's better you educate yourself and stop misinforming others with wrong Info which might lead to loss of life. convulsions in children can be fever related or non fever related. even simple hypoglycemia can make a child convulse.i wonder which cold bath , fever suppositories and fresh air will correct hypoglycemia which can be fatal.
