please I need a clearer explanation to this bible verse Deuteronomy 14:23-26 but my very concern is :26 26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household (KJV) does it actually mean we can drink alcohol in the house if God? 1 Like |

on a different social media platform, I told people to sit tight & watch how this case will hit a dead end. well, it didn't even get to a dead end. it was simply quashed, withdrawn & closed. this shouldn't be a surprise because the youths of this country have channeled their energy & talents to chat wrong course, therefore giving way for these rogues to loot us dry to the marrow. Anyways, that doesn't stop most people from openly support them while we keep suffering. I think it's high time we all stood up, shun bigotry & confront these rogues playing with our future. Dino melaye bought a car of N180million & a young man, not even related to him, had the guts to tell Nigerians "wetin concerns una, is it ur business, has he been convicted of stealing any money". pls someone that knows any serious business Dino runs should tell me because I don't seem to know any one. 8 Likes |

they can do whatever they like with our treasury since the youths are filled with bigotry, just busy with being e-warriors, sycophants. no one should complain because if it so hurt us, we can move away from bigotry & become a force that will decide what happens in this country but till then, they can enjoy the looting. |

patriotic9jaboy:come 2019, the same people complaining of hardship & suffering today are still the same people that u will see contesting for these criminals just because they've been given N1000 & quarter bag of rice. tribalism, religion and party affiliation has really messed up the young people of this country even more than the grannies we have in power today because these grannies understands how to find common ground to rub us dry, they can run from one party to another so as to achieve their selfish interest, while we (young people) will be busy defending & praising them. to get young people together to sponsor an independent presidential candidate will be a near impossible task. most young peopple would rather have their tribal man who will rub them dry as president than having a man from another tribe that will protect their interest. every year we see young people pass out from NYSC, it is assumed that these people are graduates therefore they are learned only for u to find out that they just filled with bigotry & are easily brainwashed, use & dump 2 Likes |

Celebrities / Stop Carrying Briefcase For Leaders – Charlyboy Tells Youth by lonecat: 12:37pm On Oct 04, 2016 |
Entertainment maverick, Charly Boy, has called on Nigerian youths to speak with one voice and hold leaders at all levels accountable in order to secure a nation of their dreams. He gave the advice on Monday in Abuja in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) to mark 56th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence. He expressed regret that Nigeria was still economically and politically dependent with little or no opportunities for its youths after 56 years of self-rule. He said: “the youths, who are supposed to ask their leaders questions are the ones carrying brief cases for them. “Some of them are still sagging their trousers without being moved by the bleak future that successive leaders have created for them. “Why can’t they stand up and take their future in their hands by holding their leaders accountable?” he asked. The ‘Area fada’, as he is fondly called by young people, expressed regret that Nigeria had been left behind by other nations that gained independence with her at the same time. He said that the country found itself at this cross road not because it lacked human and natural resources, but because it was bedeviled by corrupt and self-serving leaders over the years. “We started with countries like Brazil, Singapore and others; today they are among strong and self-sustaining nations. “Nigeria as a nation still imports almost everything, including staple goods. “Is it not pathetic to see a 56 years-old adult who cannot take care of him or herself?” he asked. Charly Boy stated that leaders at all levels in the country are insensitive to the collective interests of the people because the youths of the present generation are passive. “The youths of the 70’s used to stand up and agitate against policies and programmes of government that are not people-oriented thereby holding the leaders accountable. “Today, our youths have decided to suffer and smile, while others have chosen to be political tugs and body guards to the same people who have traded off their future,” he said. The social activist stressed the need for Nigerian youths to remain united and patriotic irrespective of tribal and religious divides. “The youths must refuse to be divided as a people with common struggle and destiny so that they can win together. “The Nigerian youths have been manipulated too long along tribal and religious sentiments by their leaders. “It is time they stood up and save their future together,” Charly Boy asserted http://dailypost.ng/2016/10/04/nigeria-56-stop-carrying-briefcase-leaders-hold-accountable-charlyboy-tells-youths/?utm_source=nnd&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=nnd |

Politics / Facts Western Media Won't Tell You About Nigeria by lonecat: 3:50pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
# facts you may not know about NIGERIA#. You may already know that Nigeria is the largest black nation in the world and the most populous nation in Africa. You may already know that Nigeria has great dependency on crude oil, plus all the other opinions of David Cameron. Here are 20 unpopular facts about Nigeria. 1. Are you aware that all over the world Nigerians are setting the pace and becoming the standard by which others measure themselves? Do you know? 2. In the US, Nigerians are the most educated immigrant community. Type it into Google and you’ll see it. Not one of the most educated, the most educated. 3. 60% of Nigerians in the US have college degrees. This is far above the American national average of 30%. 4. Nigerians in US are one of the highest earners, typically earning 25% more than the median US income of $53k. 5. In Ivy League schools in Europe and America, Nigerians routinely outperform their peers from other nations. 6. A Nigerian family, The Imafidon family, have officially been named the smartest family in the UK. 7. The designer of the famous car, Chevrolet Volt, Jelani Aliyu, is a super talented Nigerian from Sokoto State. 8. The World’s fastest supercomputer was designed by a world renowned inventor and scientist, Philip Emeagwali, a full- blown Nigerian whose patency was awarded in 2015. This means Nigeria has the patency to the world’s fastest computer: a Black Nigerian. 9. The wealthiest Black man and woman on earth are Nigerians, Aliko Dangote and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind. 10. South Africa couldn’t have ended apartheid & achieved Black rule if not for the leadership role Nigeria played. 11. Of the 3 South African Presidents who ruled after apartheid, two of them once lived in Nigeria under asylum. Both Nelson Mandela (60s) and Thabo Mbeki (70s) lived in Nigeria before becoming President of South Africa. We gave financial support, human support, boycotted an Olympics and our politicians, musicians and activists campaigned relentlessly. 12. Nigeria spent over $3 Billion and lost hundreds of soldiers to end the wars in both Liberia and Sierra Leone which the world ignored because they have no oil. 13. When there was a coup in São Tomé and Príncipe in 2003, Nigeria restored the elected President back to power. 14. Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom had street lights fueled by palm oil. 15. 500 years ago, Benin casted metal alloys to create magnificent art including the world famous Queen Ida Mask. 16. Amina was a warrior queen who ruled Zaria Emirate in Kaduna state, Northwestern Nigeria 400 years ago in 1610. Google and see what she means to Africa. 17. We gave monetary gifts to Ireland during our oil boom and built a statue for France free of charge. We are not poor blacks. Nigeria is rich and don’t be lied to. 18. The first television station in Africa was NTA Ibadan (1960) long before Ireland has their RTE station. ========= Wherever you look in this great country, Nigeria, heroes abound both now and in our recent and ancient past. If all you do is listen to mainstream Western media, you’ll not get the full picture of your Nigerian heritage. Do not listen to any leader who says Nigerians are criminals, no matter who he is, or his height and position. We’re not a nation of scammers, drugs & corruption, but a people with a verifiable track record of greatness. ========== Here is what CNN, BBC, Aljezeera and western media will not tell you about Nigerians: 19. On the 7th May, 2016 at Howard University in Washington D.C history was made. Out of 96 graduating Doctor of Pharmacy candidates, 43 of them were Nigerians and out of 27 awards given, 16 went to Nigerians. The entire world still envies our uniqueness as a NATION with living together despite our ethnic diversity. One single country with over 400 languages. They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas et al. If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one will blow it for you. # VIVA_NAIJA!! 20. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians world over and only less than 250,000 of this figure have traceable criminal records. This is about 0.14% of our entire national population in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global media. Listen Nigeria, don't let anybody woo you into believing that you are a criminal just because you are a Nigerian. Nigerians are NOT criminals. You are NOT a criminal. You are topnotch; second to none around the world. I am proud am created a Nigerian, thank you God. Be proud of Nigeria wherever you go. Take out your Passport with pride. Be proud of our GREEN HERITAGE. Be enthusiastic of our FUTURE GREATNESS. Also know that The free fall of Naira did not happen overnight. When Naira was stronger was when we had, 1. Peugeot Automobile Nigeria. 2. Volkswagen Nigeria. 3. Dunlop Nigeria LTD 4. Michellin, Nigeria 5. BATA. 6. LENNARDS. 7. Nigerian Airways. 8. Steel Rolling Mill, Osogbo. 9. The voice over of ARIK AIR advert was done by an English man. And we are growing the NAIRA! Hmmmm..... Do have a nice weekend happy independence day.
