How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 10 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

After updating force restart your phone, randomly within the first two days.

Affect application of config file. Go to advanced settings, where you see Pixel 4XL change it SSKGM1

Create a folder on the root of your internal storage called GoogleCamera then create another folder in this folder called ConfigsCamera. Paste the XML FILE (s)

Then open the app click on the black space at the right side between the shutter button and the button to view pictures select the config file and click restore. Close the app and reopen.

Go to settings, advanced where you see Pixel 4 XL change it to SSKGM1(If applicable to this version).

That's your perspective. 2weeks ago a friend hit my hands when I was about to enter the staff bus. My Redmi Note 8 fell face down! The screen guard broke in God knows how many direction. That could have been my screen bro. I just removed the tempered glass and put another NILLKIN glass.
Note: My phone has never fallen like that before. So anything can happen! Remember it's very hard to get a quality replacement screen. So why not save one's self from all the tears with just a tempered glass. Get a quality one like NILKIN. You won't notice the difference.

In summary bro; the screen can still crack even with the tempered glass but it helps too like in my case.

Guys, I don't know the particular name o.

Some one here advised I change my region to India and select theme/font...did and clicked on this particular font, liked it and I kept it since then.

Attached is the font name. Had to change region to India again to be able to see the font name, herein attached.

As soon as you change back to your region Nigeria...I can't see that effect, option or font selection botton again.

This issue of redmi note 8 not updating on airtel is becoming annoying, this is the same way I couldn't update to 11.0.7.0..... I cleared the cache of the system app updater it's still the same thing. I've been trying to update to 11.0.8 ever since it came out.... But to no avail. What else could anyone suggest abeg?

Since u said very good case n glass.. Search for Mofi tempered glass and case or Nillkin tempered glass and case on Aliexpress, almost impossible to see someone that will have in stock
