diggz: Babayoko never looked good playing beside kante abeg. Dude is useless. Nawa for una ooh do you know how many more goal we would have consided if not for Baka in that midfield? He's far from the finished article but I can bet every penny, Matic would not do a better job defensively for Chelsea than Baka would. In case you don't know man united first choice was Baka, we managed to get him over them, some with kante. He's young and has wonderful potential, don't you think Chelsea at this point are thinking and planning for the future with having young quality players. I don't know about you but in my opinion Baka gives me a better defensive assurance than matic does, and he's 22 and one of the best in his position at that age, so chill don't drag your players down especially when they are obviously giving their best, this guy gives his all everytime, if you don't appreciate him I'm definitely sure conte and Chelsea players value him immensely. |

Joebie: PERFORMANCE: TALKING TACTICS AND POSITIONAL PLAY
Angel Di Maria: The art of wing play PSG's Argentine wizard Angel Di Maria shares the secrets of bossing the flank Sid Lowe
Always be inventive
“When teams are defending deep – ‘parking the bus’ – it’s important to stay relaxed and focus on keeping the ball moving and searching for the gaps. As a winger you have to keep doing what you’re there to do: run at someone, create a chance or draw a foul and deliver a cross into the area for the strikers. For wingers it’s important to try to be inventive: to do something different to beat the defenders and create a chance for your team.”
https://images.cdn.fourfourtwo.com/sites/fourfourtwo.com/files/styles/inline-image/public/creativity-is-why-youre-in-the-team3.jpg Creativity is why you're in the team Drop in when you can
“At Madrid the three forwards always have freedom of movement. We can swap places and look for spaces whenever we want. If you’re out wide, you watch what the others are doing: if one player goes outside, try to drop inside to fill the space. You’re always looking for room. Me, Ronaldo, Benzema, Adebayor – whoever plays, Mourinho asks us to do the same thing: to be mobile and when near the area, to take people on and take our chances.”
https://images.cdn.fourfourtwo.com/sites/fourfourtwo.com/files/styles/inline-image/public/seek-space-when-your-team-mates-move3.jpg Seek space when your team-mates move
Remember: track back
“Mourinho wants us to be aggressive, with and without the ball, so I’ve had to adapt defensively to what he wants from us. I knew if I was going to be in his team that I’d have to run and put my foot in. It’s because of this that I’m playing and getting better. My position is different now [to when I was at Benfica] so my mentality is a bit different. I know the coach wants us to run and pressure but still have ‘air’ left to attack, so I have worked with that in mind.”
https://images.cdn.fourfourtwo.com/sites/fourfourtwo.com/files/styles/inline-image/public/get-your-foot-in-and-help-the-defence3.jpg Get your foot in and help the defence Creating chances is key
“Some wingers may be happy with dribbling past a few players but it’s important to remember you’re in the team to make chances for your team-mates. If you can make space for the forwards or play a pass for them to put them one-on-one with the goalkeeper, that’s when you’ve really done your job. Fast wingers can beat defenders. The best wingers make goalscoring chances.”
https://images.cdn.fourfourtwo.com/sites/fourfourtwo.com/files/styles/inline-image/public/its-not-all-about-beating-your-man2.jpg It's not all about beating your man Accept you’ll get kicked
“At one point this season, I got kicked so often that I got frustrated. But after a while you realise that it’s something you have to endure when you’re dribbling past players. Some kicks I can accept; when it’s one of those that the defender has no choice because otherwise you’re through on goal, that I can understand. But when it’s a foul that’s unnecessary and can really hurt you, that’s still difficult to take.”
https://images.cdn.fourfourtwo.com/sites/fourfourtwo.com/files/styles/inline-image/public/getting-kicked-its-in-the-wingers-job-description1_0.jpg Getting kicked: It's in the winger's job description Keep evolving
“Every year, you grow in all ways – in a football sense, in a mental sense. And the older you get, the better you understand football; the better you know it. You come to learn things that you did not know before and I’m still trying to evolve now. For example, I’m trying to improve my positional play: when to pressure and when to back off, when to open up the pitch, when to close it. As an attacker, you can’t just be happy to beat players. You want to make an all-round contribution to the team.”

Mujtahida: Omo you are on your own ooo. Not the annoying draw soup I saw during the Olympics. Why don't you take time to check him out and not just judge based on olympics in which he scored 4goals as a 19year old I don't know what you want from him. Check his pre season clips, I believe all he needs to be a starter for the SE Is game time and a few goals, he is that good. It is not beans to be in the Italian serial A even if you are not a starter, he's second choice to Belloti at Torino, Belloti is Italy top striker, a Nigerian 21 year old is the second choice and that dosent impress you? |

Icon4s: There is always a threshold for optimum performance.
If you recall in one of our earlier discussions where I gave the average age from which different Nigerian players start declining. I gave that of defenders as 26/27 and went further to name most of our more recent defenders comparing their performances between when they were 21-23 and 26-28.
Yes I do not tolerate Green horns in the Super Eagles defense. Green horns I mean teenagers that have not played football at professional level or are just at the first season. Or have played like 2 seasons in less competitive leagues.
But note that I did not say Balogun should be dropped. He should depend more now on his positioning than speed. That is how experienced defenders that no longer have pace cope.
Balogun would be 30 by next year. Trust me he cannot be as quick as he was 3 or 4 years back. Good point but to me I feel balogun is a good athlete and has taken care of his body, In my opinion he is faster than ekong and ekong is younger, he's fast for his size he showed in the Cameroon game, and he also reads the game well you have to admit. Maybe he should reduce his ventures going forward but if we had better defenders it would not be a problem. |

Mujtahida: Loogan I think the NFF is aware of Dessers and have reached out to him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nigeria We Have Contacted Red Hot Belgian-Nigerian Forward Cyriel Dessers – NFF Confirms A member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says the body has made contacted with Belgium born FC Utrecht forward Cyriel Dessers who is eligible to play for Nigeria. Dessers fired NAC Breda to promotion to the top flight league in the Netherlands by scoring 25 goals, but the 22 year old jumped ship few months later to fellow Dutch side Utrecht. He got off to a flying start with Utrecht by hitting a brace in their first league game of the season, a start which has no doubt caught the fancy of the NFF who are aiming to beat Belgium to his services. Although he has been invited to the U20 team of Belgium, he won’t need any clearance from FIFA as he didn’t get to play in any competitive game for Belgium at any level. ”We are aware of him and he has been contacted already. The coach knows he is available if he wants him. So the decision on his inclusion in the team or not now rest squarely on the shoulders of the coach Gernot Rohr “, a member of the NFF told Owngoalnigeria.com in Kano.
”He is a good striker and that is one area the coach said he is looking for options. So let’s see if he will get a call up by the coach because he is among one of the strikers we have right now, who isn’t doing badly”. I think we should take it easy on Tammy sure it looks like he embarrassed a very proud Nigeria, but we have to admit pinnick kind of put him in that position, he needs to take it easy with this media talk, he dosent need to expose our plans everytime, he put Tammy in that position. Although I am not cutting him any slack there are ways things can be said where no harm is done on both sides, he hurt Nigerians with what he said, but I think it was inexperience and he will learn...we also need to think about things from him own side, he sure will be under pressure from England especially when he's a good young player and thev lost iwobi and Moses it definitely will piss them off and you know politics. But I don't think we will miss him in Russia he's not a significant upgrade on iheanacho. Dessers is only a matter of time when he proves himself this season he can be in Russia. if it is talent for the future we have guys like umar sadiq, bonaventure, onyekuru, awoniyi, Osinmeh, nazifi yahaya, Ike ugbo who can be world beaters in a few years. It's only coz Tammy his in form now. We Nigerians should try to be less emotional on these topics because 90% of the time the real truth dosent make the media, we should try see it for a sec from their point of view, most of these dual nationality guys don't feel Nigerian atall but we expect them to want to play for Nigeria just coz their parents are from there? But it's not "they should stop embarrassing us, we should stop embarrassing ourselfs because we accept mediocrity dosent mean they should. We have all the talent in the world and players who are ready to sacrifice all for Nigeria in Nigeria let's work on that, thank God we already are. |

TheGoodJoe: At least we have an idea why Isaac Success' talent is rotting away if this story is true. No serious coach will play this kind of person.
PREM ACE SEX SHAME Premier League star Isaac Success arrested after ‘paying four hookers £2,000 for a hotel romp’ and ‘angrily demanding his cash back
A PREMIER League ace paid four hookers £2,000 for a hotel romp — but failed to score with any of them after drinking two bottles of Baileys.
Watford’s Isaac Success, 21, was arrested after angrily demanding his money back.
Alexis Domerge was one of the escorts paid by footballer Isaac Success
Alexis Domerge was one of the escorts paid by footballer Isaac Success Escort Alexis Domerge said the Watford star boasted of his prowess in the bedroom after paying the women £2,000 for a hotel romp.
But the 21-year-old, who has found the net only once in 19 Watford appearances, drank two bottle of Baileys — and then repeatedly failed to score with the hookers.
When the women decided to blow the whistle on Success’s lacklustre performance after 90 minutes, he angrily demanded his money back.
He was arrested in the hotel lobby after cops were called.
The Watford star became angry and demanded his money back after the girls called time on the romp Alexis, 24, said: “He accused us of ripping him off and asked for his money to be returned.
“It was terrifying. He had paid four of us £500 each to party with him and we all got naked as soon as the money came through on our phone bank accounts.
“He was drinking Baileys straight from the bottle.
“He must have chugged at least two. I pulled off his shorts and got down to it with three other girls doing everything you could imagine.
“But he was getting frustrated. What do you expect if you drink two bottles of Baileys liqueur straight from the bottle?”
Fellow escort Michaela Carter, 30, said: “He had a nice body and all four of us massaged him for a full hour and a half — as long as a football match.
“He had been boasting to us all night about how much he earned and how much fun we were going to have.
“But it’s fair to say that Mr Success did not live up to his name during our night together.
“He seemed really keen on Baileys — swigging the stuff out of the bottle. It made me cringe because it’s so sickly sweet.
“He seemed a bit shy and awkward, probably because he’s only 21. After a bit of chat Alexis took charge and said it was time to get down to business.
Success was arrested in the hotel lobby after cops were called
Alexis says the Prem star became frustrated but blamed his performance on the booze Alexis says the four escorts all got naked as soon as the money came through on their bank accounts “She laughed and told him, ‘We want your money before the honey’.
“So he transferred £2,000 straight to one of the girls which was divided between the four of us.
“The partying started as soon as the money came into our accounts and we all stripped off.
“All five of us were squirming around on the bed but after a while we realised the Baileys had taken its toll.
“Eventually, I told him I couldn’t stay any longer and we couldn’t give him extra time. That’s when things started to get nasty.
“There was a lot of screaming which must have woken the entire hotel.
“At that point the police were called. We were all making a terrible racket.
“I ended up with a slight cut on my face and a bruise on my arm during the chaos.
“I don’t know how it happened. During the row I also stumbled backwards and broke the heels of my £600 Louboutin shoes. It meant I was already £100 down.”
Michaela claims the footballer boasted about his high earnings# Things turned nasty when the girs told Success they couldnt give him extra time
Nigerian international Success, who earns £30,000 a week, booked the four girls after spending the night at a lap-dancing club in London’s West End. In the early hours they were texted the details of the luxury Sopwell House hotel, Herts, where Success had hired a first-floor suite.
Michaela said: “We met him and a couple of his mates in reception but they left, leaving just Isaac and the four of us.
“We went up to his room. It was a nice room and I could tell he had lots of money because there were designer clothes in there and Christian Louboutin trainers which can cost £800 a pair.
“He offered us drinks then started boasting about how rich he was.
“He said, ‘You won’t believe how much I earn in 90 minutes’.”
Alexis, from Brooklyn, New York, said: “I was actually quite turned on by his body. He’s beautifully toned.
“Eventually, Michaela and one of the other girls broke it to him that they couldn’t stay any longer.
“But he then accused us of ripping him off and demanded his money back.
“Several police cars arrived really quickly and about five officers came in and cuffed his hands behind his back and took him outside.
“Success admitted that he had paid us for sex.
“But he also claimed we’d cheated him out of the cash, without mentioning the reason why he didn’t have sex.
“All this commotion was more than the hotel management could take and they ordered us out of the hotel — including him.
“It’s a really nice place and I guess this isn’t the sort of behaviour they tolerate.”
The hookers said Success later called his bank and had the payments to them stopped.
Alexis said: “We couldn’t believe it when he accused us of cheating him and got the bank to get him his money back.
“We made a deal and it wasn’t our fault he didn’t have a good time. His behaviour was off the scale.” Success signed for Watford from Spanish side Granada for £12.5million last July — then a record fee for the Hertfordshire club.
He has struggled to make the starting line-up since. He sat out Watford’s 2-0 away win at Southampton on September 9 but went out on the town in London the following day before hooking up with the girls. Alexis and Michaela and another 34-year-old escort were recruited by a fourth hooker, a friend of Success’s.
A Hertfordshire Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating an allegation of assault reported to have occurred at 6.30am at Sopwell House in St Albans on Monday September 11.
“A 21-year-old man was arrested and de-arrested and inquiries are ongoing.”
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4635672/premier-league-isaac-success-arrested-four-hookers-money-hotel-sex/ If true this is so dissapointing because I so believed in this guy but he's young, we all make mistakes and I hope he will get his career back on track or not it's his choice. Like komenk and thegoodjoe usually say talent is one thing hard work and dedication is what makes you achieve success. I hope he dosent blow his shot while he has it. |

komekn: Firstly, the MRI scanner in itself is 100% accurate in that it can tell bone fusion.
However, the parameters are indicative and not conclusive from which the deductions are made from. For instance the age and bone fusion parameters used by FIFA for Africans are aggregates of Asian and South American racial groups. The impact of environmental, nutritional variables on the physiological make up of individuals causes huge physiological disparities in growth, bone density and fusion.
In this regard a malnourished teenager in Africa may see his bones fuse at 21+ now a teenager in the Western Europe and North America who has had steady diet of milk and even protein supplements will not have the same bone fusion as a Sub Saharan African. Add to that racial differences and it becomes apparent it's far from fool proof.
In 2013 or thereabouts Abuchi Obinwa who was born in the USA failed an MRI scan in Nigeria, and was rejected from the U17 squad. Inexplicable but it happened.
The MRI scan has eradicated the reckless abuse that had been the status quo for many years. Currently the last few years has seen us produce the youngest ever set of U17 players in our history. However, until we can have automatic data capture at birth. Guys will continue to get married to women who are older than them without knowing, old men politicians will claim to be youths, and age cheating will continue.
In addition the obsessive quest for Youth as an indication if outright quality and value in football makes the issue inevitable. Youth is good but it's not everything. That value on youth has scene absurd and obscene huge sums of money exchange hands between clubs for the best youth players.
Where plenty money deh corruption is not far behind.
Very informative write up. Kudos! |

Under-17 World Cup: Age cheats under scanner on global stage AGENCIES Published : Oct 5, 2017, 5:00 am IST Updated : Oct 5, 2017, 5:01 am IST
With the absence of Nigeria, and with three-time winners Brazil weakened, the tournament is regarded as open and unpredictable.

(Photo: PTI) New Delhi: The Under-17 World Cup starting in India on Friday should feature only players born this century, but officials are taking no chances after title holders Nigeria were caught in a major age-cheating scandal.
All players at the competition, which has helped launch the careers of Neymar, Ronaldinho, Andres Iniesta and Xavi Hernandez, will have their wrists scanned by MRI to check they weren’t born before January 1, 2000.
The measure was confirmed after Nigeria, who have won the tournament a record five times, bombed out of qualifying after they lost 26 squad members who were found to be over-age ahead of a key clash in August.
Age fraud is also rampant in other countries, according to football officials, prompting Fifa to bring Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to the 17th edition of the tournament, which is taking part in six Indian cities.
MRI scans can determine whether a player is below 17 with 99 per cent accuracy, experts say, as they can show whether he or she has stopped growing — which usually happens after 17.
“While it is the responsibility of each member association to ensure that their players meet the age requirements, Fifa has decided to conduct magnetic resonance imaging of the wrist at its U-17 competitions,” said a Fifa spokesperson.
Play gets under way on Friday in New Delhi, where two-time champions Ghana play Colombia at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, while New Zealand clash with Turkey in Mumbai.
With the absence of Nigeria, and with three-time winners Brazil weakened, the tournament is regarded as open and unpredictable.
England prodigy Sancho joins team In Kolkata, Borussia Dortmund’s English midfielder Jadon Sancho joined his team mates for the tournament’s group league stage.
Sancho was named player of the tournament at the U-17 Euros earlier this year, where England finished runners-up, losing in the final to Spain on penalties.
Sancho joined the team’s first official practice, four days ahead of their Cup opener against Chile.
Sancho did not travel with the team as he arrived separately after getting a last-minute release from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
The London-born teenager has scored 13 goals in 16 games for England and is expected to be a key player if they are to progress to the last 16 in a “group of death’ featuring twice champions Mexico, Chile and Asian winners Iraq.
Mexico arrive Mexico reached Kolkata on Wednesday following a pre-conditioning camp in Spain. The 21-member El Tri were accompanied by a 16-strong staff including chief coach Mario Arteaga.
Mexico, who open their campaign against Asian champions Iraq on March 8, were the last to arrive here from the Group F teams. |

forgiveness: @bolded said it all.
Coach trust even if the dropped players are maradona and banging in goals right left and center in their various clubs.
Al least, we saw trusted players like Gabriel, Uchebo, Ameobi, Nworfor etcetera went to the world cup because they were Keshi's most trusted players. Rorh is an intelligent and experienced coach I think he knows more than you about the team. Which of the players he left out are banging on goals left right and center? Is ighalo not in better form than any striker we have presently? Moses, nwakeme(underrated guy), iwobi(before the injury), Moses Simon has been in the team and understand our system better than onyekuru. We don't understand the way these coaches think when it comes to building a team and selection, it's much more deeper. Just because onyekuru is banging in goals now dosent mean he will understand and give that work ethic and team strategy better than Moses Simon. |

forgiveness: Same goes for Kelechi, Onyekuru, Aweriam etcetera who just got new teams yet were called. Lol bro kelechi is very important in the team now, he's our highest goal scorer, such a player cannot be left out, he's just finding his feet after an injury cut him some slack. For the sake of their carrier stability I feel these players you mentioned need to find their feet and excel in their new club. I'm not saying it wouldn't have been good to invite these players for the match, but we already have good players let's the guys who has the coach trust for now deliver then we can try these players in games to the World Cup. Although I do agree echiejile needs to be dropped. |

forgiveness: From my personal observations, Rohr and his crew never wanted Kayoye in the team in the first place but were pressured to invite him.
It was reported that Rohr and his crew reluctantly included his name on the list for a mere friendlies despite the obvious fact that Kayode was the best player and top goal scorer in the Austria league, due to the outcry and pressure from the public.
It is suffice to conclude that this is the case after the coach gave him only 34 mins out of 180 mins of game time and played him in a different role from the role he became the best in the Austria league.
The antics of late Keshi is rearing its ugly head once again in the national team.
The antics of not playing or giving enough game time to an unwanted player, and playing players out of their favourable position for them not to shine in other to protect their vulnerable and preferred players.
Unfortunately, for them the lad is on the book of one of the biggest clubs in europe which they least expected and one of the one they are using to justify invitation.
Because if they are happy about his success, they would have congratulated him and invited him for the qualifiers, but on two occasions the mischievous coaching crews don't deem it fit to put him on standby. How pathetic?
The excuse was he did not play football for a very long time but now silence is all they gave because they dare not talk about game time and goal scoring. Chai! This people think say 180 million Nigerian fans na mumu. .
If they dare, they know they will be exposed. Bro you don't always have to think the worst. Kayode just got to a new team and needs to prove himself so he needs time to settle, he already has been introduced to the team, let him settle first. Dessers and onyekuru like wise, we have guys that can do the job we don't need to unsettle players team commitment just so they can come and fill spaces. I believe we already have guys who can do the job against Zambia. I don't believe rorh is a coach who would make NFF officials meddle with his selection, do you should know most of the call ups are made by Rorh himself. |

Mickael2: Mikel is a nigerian legend not a football legend for me(all na legend sha). Meanwhile the rinse repeat system varies in speed. For great players or near great players like Ronaldo the process was quick from Sporting to ManU, Odegaard as well. If Kelechi is anything like these players then he won't stay for long there, no need wasting a spot on the national team for him I actually think mikel is a football legend, forget style of play not many African and international world class players can boast of a champions league medal and a man of the match performance in that match, I think he is one of the African players with the most club medals/international medals....it's clear africans are always underrated but take nothing away from the man he is class. He might not have fulfilled the enourmous potential we all expected by at what price: club medals and maximum respect and experience in football, does yaya with all his bad ass football have more medals than mikel? Every player chooses his own path |

FIFA 2018 WCQ: I’m not interested in Zambia mind games – Ighalo ON SEPTEMBER 27, 20173:47 AMIN NEWS, SPORTSCOMMENTS Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo is resisting the temptation of playing mind games ahead of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia October 7 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Odion Ighalo Ighalo, who scored against Cameroon at the same venue is one of the players invited by Gernot Rohr for the crucial tie against the Zambians that have been doing most of the talking. “I’m happy to be called up again because it’s always a great honour to play for my country,” Ighalo told BBC Sport. “We know Zambia is a strong team and they will come with full determination in Uyo, we cannot engage in irrelevant pre-match talking but deliver on the pitch. “I’ve never played at the World Cup and like my other colleagues, we all want to be in Russia, this is like a final for us.” The Super Eagles are top of Group B with 10 points, while Chipolopolo lie second with seven points following a 1-1 draw with Cameroon and home and away triumphs over Algeria. The moment I had no doubts morata came to succesed at CFC was when he took the dreaded 9 shirt now that shows mental strength, he missed a penalty on his first start for the club and I was Madely impressed with his response and confidence a lot of good strikers can take a confidence dip from that missing a spot kick on your debut especially when you a big name marquee signing. Kudos to the team most importantly they have really helped morata settle. He is not up there physically to be truthful but he is still effective now that's pure class..buy the time conte is done with morata I dare to say he can be better than Kane(he is not now). |

Joebie: Abi where was Ekong playing when he first got a look in by Naija?
Ehizibue has played almost every outfield position in his recent career. I think that's utility seeing him now play as a RB. That's another VicMo right there. I think I quite agree with you Otigba should by now be involved in the SE, ehizibue is an exciting prospect and I think he was in camp the first time they invited ebuehi, so maybe roah had made a choice on that, but I don't think he's there in terms of defensive quality and physicality to mix it in Africa, I hope he proves me wrong though. On Otigbas spot maybe pinnick has some young dual nationality Nigerian he want there. |

mumemma: did it takr Ndidi this long to adapt. Ndidi is a player with high defensive work rate, and he came from genk a team to that cherish workrate and ndidi dosent do as much running as the attackers in liecester. |

It's not beans to be in the liecester city line up, that means your work rate is higeher than the average epl players... Iheanacho has come and they said he had to take some time off to meet up interms of fitness, it's not asif iheanacho didn't have a pre season with man city but still is not interms in fitness, it's because it's not that easy do you know how long it will take an average player to condition is body to produce hard shifts that liecester players chew every day in training. By liecester playing style you should know their players are extreme work horses. Nigerian people should me more understanding and support our own but that's quite surprisingly the opposite. If people can still come here and insult a player you won caf best young player and literarily the force of the new generation then I don't know why else he can do |

Good morning house, Contrary to the belief that iheanacho would not come good in liecester city playing system, I think it will help make him a better player. Wev seen iheanacho in a tiki take system and he has excelled at a very young age, what guardiola percieved he lacked like WORK RATE, TEAM WORK this two are the literally what liecester city are all about. In this generation been able to adapt to different playing system is a thing, it would only help iheanacho and his career going forward if he Has insane workrate, good team work, discipline, and vast tactical knowledge. That is what liecester can offer and I think it will benefit his game and give him more personality as a player and most importantly make him a more rounded player. He has the talent and determination so it's really no problem for me because I know he will succeed. |

Kog45: Yea am one of d people that criticised him for poor showing against SA and if i may ask u,did he had a good game against SA?
No doubt d guy is young, promising and have great future ahead.Thank God he was able to get a club who believed in him and he hasn't disappoint, making team of d week is a plus for him and should keep it up.Hope he replicate d good form in eagles colour. In my opinion he had a not so good game, but that dosent mean that you forget his performance in the friendly before the SA game against Senegal and that other team..and how he was one of the best permormers no one complained he was a Porto b player..,but after the game which I feel he was victimized...even the most consistent and greatest players all had bad days |

Joebie: Chidozie Awaziem makes Ligue 1 Team of the Week Very proud of this guy, this is a incredible feat, considering how much quality defenders play in the ligue 1. He would continue to prove those who came for his head against SA wrong. Those who said he is not ready, Porto b player and all that, it is before your own eyes that just not up to 3months after the South Africa game he is in the team of the week in LIGUE 1, Stats don't lie... it's not all about game time omeruo with all his experience is not has good has he is presently. |

Hi everyone, with the ongoing left back issues the SE has anyone taken time to scout the former U-17 player Usman Abass, he plays in the Latvian league metta Fc and is one of the best players in the league, he's just 20 or 21 and had solid two years experience even though it's a low key rated club, nevertheless he is the dream left back, he's got everything and outsidetheboot.com have written a scout report on him, he's a real talent.. Now I know people can argue that his league is obscure and has no big profile(sheau doesn't play in a top league but proves quality with the national team)or that he doesn't have enough experience has some put it. I would have loved him in the world Nigeria squad but it looks like he dosent have that pedigree and experience yet. We don't have much options and we have to face the fact that echiejile cannot provide that quality we need nor the so called experience which has no impact whatsoever, to challenge in a World Cup. |

It's shocking when grown men on this thread get into E-fights, even talking it as far as throwing insults...I come to this thread hoping to see people opinions on our club, but all here is pages of jabs after jabs, wasting valuable time on baseless arguments.... Im glad there are a few reasonable people here. When peeps come up with stupid assumptions it's best they are ignored, we don't know the person behind the words. |
