How do you know what I understand and what I dont??

It's like this belotti guy doesn't have attributes that can be described. The first job of a striker is to score goals and Belotti hasn't done that consistently enough.

You even classed him with Suarez and Lewy grin grin grin grin . Someone that is not on Harry Kane's level yet. Just agree even you haven't seen Belotti play. You read one or two article and you are coming here to form expert
opinion
Dude I'm talking fact, whats pissed me off is that you keep mentioning established players with belotti and you keep judging him based on stats(which is not bad)...wtf are you saying, I have not watched him play and I want him in Chelsea, and if you haven't watched him play don't quote me again...And no I did not just watch youtube, I'll followed the guy For a while...he's just starting his career, and I don't see a more perfect replacement for costa....I said you don't understand because it's obvious in your post.

it seems you don't know how small clubs work, when they have a little assets they put so much price on them, luckily if the deal pulls through they use the money gotten from them to finance all their transfer through that season.

Chelsea is not a maga club, man u is.. Belloti is still having his first season which is not good enuf to judge him, Even Alex lacazettee who has been scoring 20+ every season is not going for that price....
Bro trust me I know how these Italian clubs can be unreasonable, but they put that price tag on him because they don't want him to be poached by English teams. I agree with you that he is not all proven....but I urge you to watch his game, is it until he scores alot of goals and becomes too expensive before we know we can get him...in modern football their are very few like him, he is like a more aggressive and technical than costa, he's not just a striker, he's the first defender of the team, and he gives his absolute all in matches, he's a defenders nightmare, he presses the defence, has crazy work rate and a strong mentality...you know what I'm saying in a few years

What's the all round game I need to check?

Goals are the most important metric for a striker.

It's not enough to point me to Pep. Pep has gotten it wrong this season with Joe Hart, and now even Bravo is on the bench. He's gotten it wrong with John Stones. He's gotten it wrong with Toure. Gabby Jesus did not just come in to the team, he's come in with 3 goals and 2 assists...and still Pep is danger of not even finishing in the top 4 this season.

What is it that Belloti has over Lukaku? Why should we prioritise other metrics other than goals in a striker?
Why make me bother when you don't wanna understand my point, I'm done with you.

How does he have more potential than a 23 year old with a 100+ career goals in his locker.

And Lukaku is not even 1st choice Pen taker at Everton.

What is this potential of which you speak?
Not every footballer can start his career like lukakus, but that doesn't mean they can't reach/match his level of play when they come to their own...then if you want to understand the potential I mean..check their all round game/characteristics not just goalscoring, that's where he edges lukaku..

Belotti ko Telobbi ni.

Was it not the same way Destro was blazing few seasons back, where is he now?? and someone even had the nerve to say he is a bigger talent than Lukaku without mentioning any single attribute he possesses.

Next season, we will be competing in the UCL and hoping to make an impact if not win. Potential won't do that for us. if we are really serious about getting a top 9, then let's splash the cash on Either Aguero or Aubameyang. instead of wasting? 40-50m on buying potential
I'm sure you have not even seen the belloti guy play.....what you Don't understand is that football is getting past the era where strikers are only expected to score and nothing else alot of things that didn't matter are now important for strikers to do but since some of you judge solely by goals I doubt you know what I'm saying, the aguero you are clamouring for is getting benched in city(although getting the goals) because he cannot perform the things pep see as important for his strikers..so you now think conte will now buy someone that cannot even cope in a team with less intensity than his...then oga if clubs didn't buy potential why did they buy batshuyayi...it's not just all about goals, that's why Gabriel jesus is benching kelechi and aguero..That's also why conte cannot trust batshuyayi enough to start when costa is unavailable..go check strikers like lewandowski, suarez, aubameyang,Costa, belloti and see what they have in common(apart from goalscoring) you will see my point.

Lukaku had scored 50 EPL goals at Bellotis age...and this was playing for Westbrom and Everton.

Sometimes I don't understand how we judge talent, if you believe morata or batshuyayi will make it in epl them why not belloti?, he too underrated, but make no mistake he is the real deal and he's just 22 frightening potential that's why he is valued at 90million euros....He is one of the most complete strikers, he will make it in any league in the world..look the guy well eye no dey lie..He would be perfect in chelsea.

Mikel plays the AMF position for us, we have countless variations that can put him out if the system. Iheanacho can still play there, Aluko, Iwobi can come into the middle and free up the left side for a quicker winger and all that, So I believe we can find adequate replacements
Bro I think mikel position either in amf of cm is based on the opponent we face..he played as a amf against Algeria and cm against Zambia....and apart from skill, flair, goalscoring that the other amf's you mentioned have I don't see any other parts of their game that is better than mikels. And please don't underestimate the value of experience...he is the most experienced/decorated player we have and he is just entering his peak...we should now bench him for some kid because he plays in China?..and bro don't be mistaken he will not deteriorate just because he is in China, that'd just like saying all the other major soccer stars playing in china will deteriorate because they are not in Europe.

Let me ask you something, Forgiveness too... now that Mikel has gone to China which is not a competitive league by any standard, should he still be commanding an automatic spot in our starting eleven? Remember that the coach said that if Ighalo moves to China he would be forgotten, Fanendo Adi has not been invited since because he is presumably playing in a weak league but the US league is obviously better than the Chinese league, So shouldn't Mikel be treated the same way for the sake of equality?

GoodJoe before you answer, remember you said training with a good coach trumps game time, what's the name of the coach that Mikel is going to be training with? I don't know, So isn't he going to start declining?
They say class is permanent. Mikels experience more than anything is what the coach values and we ourselves can see the importance...I don't think the S.E have a better midfielder than mikel truth be told...ighalo and mikel case are different, he has already lost his place in the S.E because of poor form, if he now goes to China he will not even have a call up.

January Deadline day approaches.... Ighalo transfer... To be or not to be...

Ighalo Could Leave Watford In Three Days
Time, Mazzari Confirms

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/image-21.jpg

Watford striker Odion Ighalo’s future appears to
be away from Watford after head coach Walter
Mazzarri confirmed the club have received several offers for him.

The arrival of forwards Mauro Zarate and M’Baye Niang this week increased doubts over Ighalo’s place in the squad and Mazzarri signalled this at today’s press conference.

Mazzarri said: “Ighalo you know better than me
has always been a very important player for this
team. But there are times when a player can end their time with one club and take a decision on their career.

“This is a decision that just come from the club
and the player and there’s not much we can do
about it.”

The Hornets boss added: “With Odion Ighalo we
know there are some offers but it’s still early to
say anything.

“They told me there is a very important offer but again we will evaluate in the next few days.

“I don’t like to say all the details also because I
don’t know in full. I know there is more than one [offer] but it might also be from China.”

Mazzarri was asked the next step in terms of the Ighalo transfer but showed signs of frustration in his response.

The Italian said: “I don’t know. You’re asking me too much about Ighalo. The club told me you would ask about Ighalo because there have been some offers.

“For the rest you need to ask the club. I am the
head coach and they are the ones taking care of the transfers.”

Nigeria U20 Defender Lukman Zakari Rated

Nigeria youth international Lukman Zakari is in
the list of best 20 young defenders under the age of 18 in the world according to Italian publica

In a review of the best 20 upcoming defenders in the world, the highly respected Italian publication named the soon to be 18 years old in the list on the account of his strong showing for Nigeria at the World Youth Championship in Chile.

Zakari was ever present for the Nigeria U17 as
they romped to the World Crown in Chile last
year, and he was one of the few bright sparks
from their ill fated Africa Youth Championship
Qualifiers.

He has been linked to several teams in Europe
and Africa since tearing up his deal with Tunisian side Sfaxien due to their failure to properly conclude his transfer formalities, despite signing a pre contract.

All efforts by Owngoalnigeria.com to reach the
defender proved abortive, and even his adviser
Mohammed Mowiz Suleiman refused to comment on the feat achieved by the Unity Academy of Kaduna prospect.

I used to support thegoodjoe on this but this is the final straw...iheanacho is too good and has done enough to be a starter for most EPL teams, I can't think of any EPL manager than would not want iheanacho...it's obvious oga pep dosent value him when he drops the best goal to ratio striker in epl history for a Brazilian kid that just about 2weeks ago...iheanacho should take a page from lukakus book, this kid is so special that he should only be in a team that seems him as priority.

Bros wants to go and boss it in the lower leagues and earn more money. . If he doesnt boss this league then shame on him!

If indeed Valencia wanted him and he rejected 100K, then Mikel nor get ambition . . Just like how he used to stick to the DM position and never made forward runs once in a while or make more forward passes. . Ambitionless player who made a lot of Nigerians think Mourinho killed his attacking qualities. You would hear a lot of ignorant Nigerian say things like 'Mourinho lo ba Career mikel je' which is merely a hoax

Was he a legend for Chelsea? I see people calling him that mainly because of his length of service to the club but i dont think he is.
Did he give enough top notch performances to be considered a club legend? I doubt that! Makalele and Ballack with less years of service to the club are considered legends unanimously.

Personally, i am glad he's gone from Chelsea, from the Nigerian front? its a worry that this ambitionless bros is our captain and he will be playing in Fudging China!. . yes. . China! oh well
You have a point but don't be so quick to judge....reports have come in that mikel plays as an attacking midfielder in his new team, yes valencia offer was very good, but what if they just wanted him to be a defensive midfielder...I feel his move was in the interest of nigeria because he now has a free role in attacking midfield where we all know Mikel is class

Ex-Wolfsburg Director Disagrees With
Chrisantus Over Osimhen Future At German Side Wolfsburg

Sacked Sporting Director of German side
Wolfsburg Klaus Allofs says Victor Osimhen will be a success with the team when he becomes
eligible to play for the team in January.

Few days ago Owngoalnigeria.com posted an
interview conducted with former Nigeria U-17
goal king Macauley Chrisantus, who said he
wasted six years of his career with German side
Hamburg.

Speaking to German based Nigerian journalist
Oma Akatugba, the recently sacked director said the Nigerian showed promises that made them spalsh €3 million on the forward.

“We don’t talk about money, we saw him as a
very interesting player, he has a lot of talents so
we watched him at the world cup , we had him
here for few weeks and he trained with our main
team, and even at his age he was very very
strong”, Allofs said.

”He is very motivated and focused on football
And he scores lot of goals. He is very talented, am so sure he will succeed, he is a good boy above all”.

Isaac Success only has half an hour in him,
says Mazzarri

Walter Mazzarri played his cards very close
to his chest this afternoon when discussing
the fitness of his squad but did reveal that
Isaac Success will have to be content again
with a place on the Watford bench.

Success missed six games and seven weeks of
action with a combination of a dead leg and a
hamstring injury and, given this is his second
injury of the season, has very much been eased
back into action and wrapped in cotton wool.

He has made the squad for the last two games but stayed unused on the bench despite Watford being behind at West Brom and home and hosed against Everton at 3-1 up.

https://d2qis8jqsfsi8t.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/160827-Watford-v-Arsenal-Selected-99-2.jpg

“He’s recovered now,” said Mazzarri. “He’s
available 100 per cent for the team but he has
got around 20-30 mins in his legs.

He won’t start because then we have to make one change already. If he plays, he comes on from the bench.”

The make up of the XI will depend on how, and if, the likes of Younes Kaboul and Valon Behrami
come through training tomorrow.

https://d2qis8jqsfsi8t.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/161029-Watford-v-Hull-Pre-Match-Selected-11.jpg

“Kaboul has been training with the team,” said
Mazzarri, who had hoped the big defender would be available against Everton.

“We need to verify his condition and see how many minutes are in his legs. Behrami didn’t train yesterday. He’s still recovering. He was very tired after the game. We will evaluate if he is able to start or come on from the bench.”

Quique Sanchez Flores played without a striker at Manchester City last time, asking Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney to flank a packed midfield.

Deeney even ended up at right-back at one
stage. Mazzarri has not taken a backward step
this season and you won’t find him parking the
bus at the Etihad stadium. He watched City’s
game against Leicester and you suspect he
knows what he wants to do. He’s just waiting to
see who he has available first.

“After such an intense game, as it was against
Everton, where the team has spent a lot
physically and mentally, it’s still very early to
decide on the formation,” he said. “I still need
tomorrow. I need to understand the condition of
the players who have played the game. We
usually check on them the day before the game.

Some of the players trained individually, some
trained with the team. We will see tomorrow or
even the day of the game.”

Craig Cathcart returned to training this week but he’s being pencilled in to return against Crystal Palace or Tottenham.

I mean, did you guys see the foul on Iheanacho that the referee refused to blow. That was one amazing run. He was far behind the ball and Albrighton, met the ball long before him and the referee fouled him.

Did you see the brilliant tour of Iheanacho before he laid the ball to Gundogan, who missed the ball.

Iheanacho worked hard, battled against a physical side and people like you are fighting to paint him bad.

You even tried to make it look as if Iheanacho had a poor game against Celtic. Keep waiting for game time and do not notice the good work Iheanacho did today
.
I'm happy at least people like you still exists..see the criticism this young boy is getting, to make it worse by fellow Nigerians....sometimes I wonder if they even know football.

Chelsea midfield collapse at some point in the 2nd half, fabregas was just not in the game save for the pass to Costa.
I also notice nancho took one. Wayward shoot with his right foot, is that part of the training
That shows the coach is encouraging him to take more outside shots like you all complain that he is not doing...I'm even happy he attempted that shot with his right foot even though it was wayward...That shows progress...pep has been teaching this boy, trust me...kelechi is a player who is fiercely determined, and that is his greatest strength, not his talent. pep or no pep iheanacho will make it in football.
